A year a 3 months ago we paid $12,600 for a brand new a/c. Only residential air has serviced. There is mold coming from the unit. After the third call, a solution was proffered... at an additional cost to us of $5,250 to re-do the installation which was done 1 year and 3 months ago. The mold in the duct work which wasn't there 1 year and three months ago will have to stay there because this new price doesn't include duct work. Just wow. I thought we were in good hands. Sorely disappointed. If only I could go back in time and choose another company, I would in a heartbeat.

Response: at no point EVER were the ducts advised to be subpar or inadequate. Licensed and insured contractors were used for the AC and ducts. Where did this false narrative come from? No one in their right mind would pay this much for a new unit and leave unhealthy ducts. For ten years, the ducts operated perfectly with the prior 4- ton unit and created NO mold. I was TERRIFIED of mold and was scared of installing the (now confirmed to be oversized) 5-ton unit but let myself be talked into a larger and more expensive unit. Residential air does not perform duct work. Im not sure how an hvac company only does half of an hvac system but that is another matter. I had ZERO MOLD before the installation of a $12.6k unit and now miraculously have mold everywhere causing extensive and significant damage to my home and health. Residential air apparently has zero concern for our health or their responsibility. Moldy Ducts will be replaced and matters will be handled accordingly. I trusted Richard Sr. with our health and that trust was apparently misplaced and has been shattered.

We’ve used Residential Air for over 10 years and they’ve installed 4 different units for is, over that time. We have always been pleased with their work and their service.
They know everything about AC’s and explain everything clearly. All their work has been professional and they are nice, polite and leave everything clean when they’re done. They always show up and if they’re running late they call. I recommend them to everyone!

Residental Air has been my go to air conditioning company for over 20 years. They have installed a few units in my home, replaced all my air ducts recently, and continue to show me firsthand service. They are knowledgeable, honest, and show up when promised, which is most important! Their communication is set apart from any other service company that I use. My husband has also used their expertise in his office. Don’t hesitate to call them, you won’t be sorry.

We recently hired Residential Air to do some maintenance and some repairs on our home AC unit. We had used a different company and we had a bad experience so we called Ellen based on a referral. They were extremely professional, showed up on time, and gave us excellent service. We strongly recommend Residential Air without reservation. Richie and Danny did a wonderful job and they were reasonably priced.

My A/C went down on a Saturday when it was 95 degrees outside, and the technician was at the house the same day. Super nice person, good communicator and walked me through the band aid scenario and possible long-term scenario. I asked a lot of questions and found the responses to make sense and aligned with what I had researched online. They actually went out of their way to get a part from their office (Miami) to service my home in Boca a couple days later. The technician, owner & owner's son all came out, and I spoke to the owner's sister and daughter to coordinate scheduling. Great to see it really is a family business and all were so friendly, a plus.

I made the decision to have a new unit installed due to the age of my older unit and the repair cost vs replacement cost. I was sent a couple different options to compare pricing. The work was done by the same team (which I loved because painters, roofers, gutter repair, flooring teams always seem to be contracted out). The date and time were scheduled, and the work completed. I received phone calls and text messages on the progress and, post installation to ensure the unit was working well for me. I also appreciated that the team swept and cleaned up afterwards.

I've been with this wonderful company for 25+ years and all I can say is I LOVE RESIDENTIAL AIR! From the owners, to the technicians, particularly Richard, Danny and Diego, they are the most professional team I've had the pleasure of dealing with whenever I had issues with my air conditioning unit. We have been customers of Residential Air for 30 years. We have bought 4 units. We just got the American Standard replace it worked for 18 years. The owner Richie is very nice and professional. He comes right on time with his crew, they are professional,respectful of property and the installation was seamless. They have three beautiful ladies working in the Bobbie, Ellen and Diane who always go above and beyond to help their customers. I interacted a lot with Ellen on my unit just installed, she sent the crew to replace the motor on the 18 year old a/c while the unit came in. She made sure the house was very good and comfortable. Once unit came in Richie and his crew dismantled the old unit. Ellen
was outstanding she was in communication with me on the weekend and after work hours to ensure our new A/C purchase was outstanding. Ellen is a great asset to the company, she got me the best deal, made sure repairs got done on old AC quickly and ordered me exactly what my house needed. I told her I wanted an outside American Standard and they do make make too many, but Ellen went above and beyond to find us one and order it. I always tell her I like 1 pm for repairs and she always managed to get me that slot. Installations do happening the morning and everything went smooth.
This is a big task. They packed and cleaned everything. They installed the new unit and I am so pleased with everyone at Residential Air. I will not try anyone else. The new unit is amazing. All I can say in the last 30+ years the few time my AC broke they turn the technicians around immediately. I highly recommend these outstanding team 💯. They also remind me when AC is to be serviced so I know I always have options in Florida to be comfortable in a home running cool AC. It is what we all want to be comfy and cool at home and relaxing watching our favorite shows. Thank you all for always treating us with kindness and always being our A/C hero company.

This was my first time using Residential Air for a repair. I'm more than happy with the work they did and the professionalism and kindness of Richard, who repaired the unit, and Ellen, who coordinated the work at the office. It's so nice and rare to find a company that has integrity and good work ethics. I've definitely switched repair company and will use them to do the annual maintenance that I used to do myself and no longer can do. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs their HVAC repaired, replaced, or newly installed.

Amazing 5 star service from the best air conditioning company I have ever dealt with!!! They installed a new air conditioning system that lasted 38 YEARS, so I made sure to use them again for my new system they finished today.
