After 17 years both of my 5-ton HVAC systems had to be replaced. Given the size of the investment, I conducted a thorough search which included all types of vendors from national operators associated with Home Depot, to a regional firm associated with Costco, to smaller and independent operators. American Thermal Services provided BY FAR the best value; thorough and honest pre-sale discussion, highly competitive quote from the outset (no need to haggle), quality service, impeccable installation work, you name it. Jose, the owner/operator is a stand up guy, who spent time with me to teach me how to best maintain my new units and walked me thorough the installation process. Everything unfolded exactly as he said it would, and I have happily recommended ATS to my friends in the six months since my installation.

I must say that my experience with American Thermal Service has been nothing but phenomenal. I had gone through a few AC mechanics before finding Jose. He came highly recommended through a family member. The other mechanics suggested different things that never fixed my issues. One even suggested to redo my ductwork. Jose came out examined the ducts, he could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance and instead provided evidence to easy my concerns of redoing ductwork. I found it rare to see an owner like Jose, come out, do the job and do it with so much pride. His work was efficient and completely in a timely manner, overall effective in solving my issue, and clean. I would highly recommend Jose and his company over anyone else without hesitation.

I’m so happy I went with Jose and American Thermal services. My AC started to go out on Monday. I had a big name company come in charge me $450 for just adding Freon and quoted me over 11.5k to replace everything. Jose came the next day gave me a second opinion where he also recommended a replacement. Jose undercut the other quote by almost 4 thousand dollars. Jose also put in a lot of Freon to hold me over till he was able to install it Friday. Jose didn’t charge me for the Freon because he wanted to make sure my family was taken care of till he could do the replacement. Jose took the time to rearrange the coolant and electrical lines out of the dirt and took the time to explain everything to me. The company was clean, careful and efficient. They also registered my equipment to make sure the warranty is in place. I appreciate Jose and American Thermal services! I would highly recommend American Thermal services!

“In less than 48 hours, I had a new air conditioner up and running! Jose did an excellent job—he was quick, fast, and really attentive to every detail. The installation was professional and efficient, ensuring everything was set up correctly and tested thoroughly. He also took the time to explain how to use the unit properly. He even personally wrote the size of the air filter on the unit for easy maintenance! 🧑🏻‍🔧 So far, the AC has been running smoothly, providing excellent cooling without excessive noise. Installed a new system and redid the duct work. I expressed the importance of the job being completed in one day due to my elderly parents. Day of arrived at the time he said he would and brought a whole crew. They got to work immediately and worked non stop throughout the day. Got everything done and were gone by dinner time. Being an older house with a small attic this was no small feat. They covered up and used mats to keep the mess to a minimum and then cleaned up afterwards. Professional, punctual and did good work.
