Been using Century Air design for several years now always great customer service and professional work would definitely recommend to my friends and family

I chose this company because of their high google reviews. But I have had the most frustrating experience.

I live overseas so I asked to be video called prior to installation of a minisplit which Ricardo, the sales rep, said would be no issue. I did not receive the call and later find the minisplit had been installed with the condenser placed in the recently retiled/remodelled outdoor patio area, something I did not agree to. They further requested additional payment of $250, on top of the $3600 estimate, as they did not expect the wiring to be as complicated.

To my fortune, I later find my deposit did not go through and to remedy the issue, Ricardo visits the property with the installers to see how they can resolve the issue. Instead, they remove the whole unit and disappear.

I’m now left with a large hole in the structure, drill holes long the wall and tiles that need to be replaced. Terribly frustrating experience.

I wanted to take a moment to express the pleasant experience i had with Centry Air Designs yesterday. I called them at 8:00 PM yesterday, within an hour they were at my door. The tech Roberto very courteous by the way diagnose the issue with my air conditioning and at a very affordable price giving me options to repair it. Near an hour later my A/C was working. Thank You Centry Air Designs and his crew. I will dementedly will recommend then to friends and family.

If I could give a negative feedback to century air I definitely would. We put a split unit in an apartment. The unit leaked down the wall soaking the paint and drywall. The whole unit fell off the wall. When I called for service before the 1 year warranty I ended up paying for a service call. They claimed someone was hanging on the unit. The apartment was not occupied for 2-1/2 months. Century Air scheduled two appointments but didn’t show up with no communication to me. Now since the year warranty is up century Air will service my unit for $450. DO NOT hire CENTURY AIR to put in any AC unit. They do not service what they promised.

I recently had a service call with Orlando G. from Century Air Designs. He quoted me $585 just to rewire two cables, which I felt was extremely high. When I pushed back, he lowered the price to $385, but even that seemed overpriced for what was simply labor. In the end, I paid $98 for the diagnostic visit and chose not to proceed.

My impression is that their pricing is excessive, and it felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation.

I recommend checking other HVAC companies for quotes before committing, as you may find more reasonable options.
