Plumbing reviews in Miami, Florida

Went there today, decided to read reviews after the fact and they are spot on in regards to the rudeness. I'm used to dealing with people like this but, I definitely understand the comments made by others. Wanted to get a 6" elbow which they had, forgot to bring my jar of KY jelly. Got a quote for $87 for schedule 40. Went to a competitor and bought for a 1/4 of the price. My stance is I will put up with the attitude anywhere 1 time, then I leave with a smile and thank whomever and give my business to someone else, even if I have to drive double the distance. I don't think there is a place with more rude and impolite people, the worst place there is.

Horrible service. I was calling him to ask for a part and I was telling him that they didn’t have it at Home Depot and ask them if they might have it. This guy counter told me to go to another Home Depot and see if they had it. I thought he was joking so I asked him if he had it. He said yes, but don’t waste your time coming here just buy another Home Depot.

This guy was incredibly rude. I wonder if the owner knows how their employees talk to customers I would fire this guy immediately.

I will not recommend anybody to come here and they just lost a customer.

Stern brothers is the place to go for plumbing supplies. Personal assistance by people who know their business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Stay away from this place! If you don't have a lot of knowledge with plumbing, prepare to be taken advantage of. We bought a part that was overpriced by $95 and came back 2 hours later to return because it did not fit. They did not return the part saying it was dirty! Of course, it got dirty. There is nothing clean when it comes to plumbing. They treat customers horrible.

Very professional got great service. Does guys know their stuff. All parts fit, problems solve. Highly recommend.

Every time I go in this place they resolve my problems where Ace, Home Depot, and Lowes can not. They are very knowledgeable and determined to help. I do think they undercharge for the service you get.

**EDITED REVIEW** My husband went in on the same day and had a completely different experience from the same guy. Dropped down to 3 stars. They are open early and prices are reasonable, but service depends on the mood of the guy helping you, and ostensibly how you look?

Are you kidding me? After trying several big box stores with no result, I decided to try a dedicated plumbing store. These guys were the closest so I gave them a shot.
R U KIDDING ME? I was in and out in minutes, the guy was so helpful, interaction was easy and educational, and to be honest, I should’ve tried them first. These are the kinds of businesses we need to support. I’m done wasting time, if I have any more plumbing needs I’m heading straight to Stern.

Longtime Family owned establishment, I went in for parts, which they were able to provide at a fair price. Not much more to be said

Extremely helpful guys. They even took their time to explain to me how to fix my leak.

I've lived down the street for 58 years. They are the go-to guys when you need stuff. And they're pretty knowledgeable also. I'm going up there tomorrow for a faucet

The owner and employees are rude. They throw the merchadise to you and they said " buy it if you want" you can not return it if its wrong. Not a decent place.

I Don’t Recommend This Store - Rude and Unprofessional Service
I visited this store in search of a specific adapter I had purchased before. Right from the start, the unfriendly guy at the counter dismissed it, saying, “It’s not such a thing.” Another attendant joined in, insisting it didn’t exist and trying to explain a more complicated option. When I pointed out that I had bought it previously they shifted to saying, “Then we don’t have it,” but with a very bad tone and a rude, dismissive attitude.
The whole interaction lasted less than a minute but was one of the worst and most unpleasant experiences I’ve had. If you’re not a contractor or a plumbing professional—or don’t personally know these guys—I strongly recommend going elsewhere, as they were unhelpful and unwelcoming. I wish I had read the reviews before making the trip, as other customers have complained about the same rudeness and attitude.

First and last time I go to this dump. I but a cartridge for my shower on Saturday, thankfully I did not open the package because ended up having to replace the whole shower mechanism. When I went today to return it. The idiot at the counter snapped at me, said that they had told me that the 320 dollar cartridge was not returnable or refunded. He even proceeded to call me a liar and yelled not only to me but to his manager and another customer that was present there. In short I gave 1 star because the manager refunded the money if not would've been a negative 5 stars. What a dump of a place.

Man i like this store, it's so easy to to get parts BUT their prices are INSANE, i went to buy a simple shower Cartridge and it cost me about $90, Amazon had it for $13, i can see why there is no one in the parking lot, i don't think they will be there long, this will be the last time i shop there... Be reasonable and i'll stay but this is crazy.

Came in looking for an old part I couldn't find anywhere online or in the big box stores. They had it in stock and found it quickly. Saved me easily a few hundred dollars, since I would not have to replace the full inwall fixture. Nice people, will do buissness with again.

I had to install a garbage disposal. Called, came the same day. Quick and efficient. Very friendly! I would use again.

Called to fix the clogged toilet came fast he said it is going to be 175 for unclogging then said he has to remove the toilet to unclog and it would be $500 instead of $175 I agreed. he said he unlogged it. I came home next day used the toilet twice and it was clogged again I called him back, he said there's problem with sceptic tank. I paid $500 to empty sceptic tank toilet is still clogged. called him back never responds to my calls to come and fix costed me 1k and wasted my time for a week such a waste of time and money!!!
