I meet Joe and he was wonderful he explained everything I needed to know and more he was willing to do the job immediately I was pleased by the attitude of getting the customer taken care of promptly I did not expect that speed of service from the call for help to activate results was a pleasant surprise. This is a company that I would recommend to my friends thank you Joe Smola for your service to America in the armed forces and great service to my water emergency. Respectfully Aidan Byrne

Plumbing Nerds to the rescue once again! I have unfortunately had some plumbing issues in the past few months, and every time, Plumbing Nerds have gone above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. JJ was very detailed in his work, timely, professional, flexible, and best of all - they fixed what they said they would fix and made sure I wouldn't have any other issues. Will definitely be my first call if I have another plumbing issues.

Have you ever gone to an elegant restaurant beautifully decorated with a well mannered staff and then had an absolutely awful meal... Meet Plumbing Nerds, trust me the food tastes like... well what goes down the plumbing.
Initially I posted a positive review. When the tech left, I had believed my service to be done well. That quickly changed. That night the well stopped working. I was surprised. I went outside to look at why that might be. I opened the newly installed pressure switch and saw the attached. At the time I had not understood how pressure switches worked what they cost etc. That's why I hired a "professional." I assumed that $430 to install a pressure switch was a fair price. At the time I should have inspected his work. The below shows what $430 will buy at plumbing nerds. A $30 pressure switch that is attached to unclipped and uncleaned wires. Wires that are green from oxidation. I called the Nerds to come back out. They came out the following day. I showed the wires and explained, 'how the system would come back on when it was very humid at night or during the rain." I was told that, "had nothing to do with wires and they didn't clean them. Likely I needed a new pump." What, "I said???" More to come....

Gavin diagnosed a couple plumbing issues that required updating. He provided details on what should be done with pricing. The work was completed timely and efficiently. He is a great communicator and is open to any and all questions related to the work being done, as well as any other home related plumbing questions you may have.

We appreciate the Nerds! They visit and present possible additions to what we already have; but there has never been any pressure. We feel confident in their maintenance of our A/C, Plumbing and Heating. Customer for two years!!

Deleting my original review? What a scam. Sorry, but I am reposting this because I was never contacted by your customer service like you promised - and then they lied about it! This company is horrible.

    Original review:

Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this company. They do NOT care about their customers & just want to make their commissions selling whatever they can to you.

I had a puddle of water in my garage one night, so called them out. Their tech told us we needed to replace out water heater, where the water appeared to be coming out of. Fine, no issue, it was replaced & we thought all was good. But the next AM, we had the SAME huge puddle of water in our garage. On top of that, we also had water coming out from underneath our dishwasher (they share a wall). I called them back to fix this since obviously the primary issue why I called was not fixed - and it got worse since there was now a huge water puddle in my kitchen, too.

Long story short, I wanted to understand why I just paid over $2500 to have my water heater replaced since I had the same issue after they came out but worse. However, all I got told by the supervisor, Ryan, over the phone was that the water heater needed to be replaced AND there was another leak that needed to be addressed by a leak company. Why wasn't I told this the night before? Why was I left with a gigantic bill & no communication or apology for missing the real issue? I would've gladly worked with them had they apologized & said hey, we missed the real problem here & maybe the water heater did not need replacing.

Instead, since I was so rudely treated, I called Blue Diamond Plumbing & they fixed what Plumbing Nerds could not. They accurately addressed the issue & took the time to FIND the problem, which was my dishwasher. NOT THE WATER HEATER. We paid A LOT of money to this company for ZERO reason, as I had suspected! Totally unacceptable - call a local small business instead.. not one of these corporately owned conglomerates that only care about making money.

I don't leave a lot of reviews and only when I feel it is warranted. My water heater went out on me and I called Plumbing Nerds Naples. They have outstanding communication and service. They assigned Jose Lopez as my technician. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Jose completed the job in 3 hours at a very reasonable rate.

*** NEVER USE PLUMBING NERDS ***

Let me start by saying that the technician that came to our home was very nice. I 100% blame the business owners for the problems at Plumbing Nerds!

We had a small drip from our toilet tank. I called Plumbing Nerds to have it repaired. When their technician came he said that I needed to install a standard toilet repair kit (see attached photo). Plumbing Nerds quoted me $518 to install this repair kit. Plus they tried to upsell me into their "Annual Plumbing Nerd" contract. When I pushed back on the price they would not tell me their hourly rate. ***RED FLAG***

The kit they were proposing to install costs $25 at Home Depot. I understand plumbers need to make a living but $518 for something this basic is crazy. I declined the service and they charged me $85 for the visit where their plumber did nothing but quote me a ridiculous price for a very basic repair. I called twice to speak to someone in management but they were “busy” and would call me back "as soon as possible". Of course they never called me back. :-(

I contacted another plumber who is able to do the repair for 1/2 the cost of Plumbing Nerds. I will NEVER use Plumbing Nerds again and I will tell everyone that needs a plumber to NEVER EVER USE Plumbing Nerds.

Sean was great! He took one look at the mess the counter top installers made for our sink install, tore it all out, figured out a work around, and built a new Frankenstein drain that let us keep the garbage disposal we thought wouldn't fit. Even when I missed his call the first time, he just turned around and came back with no complaint, was professional and friendly, cleaned up when done, and even taught me a few things to help manage on my own next time. Pricing was a little high but you don't get quality like this for free, and Plumbing Nerds are at the top of the quality heap. Thank you for the one day turnaround and EXCELLENT customer service!

After 7 years, my under sink RO and water softener stopped working all together. I’m on well water so that was a BIG problem for me. As a mom of three growing boys and three pups, water quality ranks very high on my home quality of life scale. I was told that Eddie at Plumbing Nerds was the top water treatment guy in the area so I reached out the the Nerd team and spoke with Joshua in the call center and he got me all set up. (Top customer service guy if you ask me!) Alex on the dispatch team reached out via text message to coordinate the best possible day for his visit which was very convenient for me as I’m not always able to answer phone calls!

Before I knew it, Eddie was on his way just as I hoped he would be. He gave me multiple options to choose from and in the end we customized one last option to give me every thing I knew I wanted and one more thing that I didn’t even know was an option! I’m so grateful for Eddie B. and the entire Plumbing Nerd family. I will definitely be calling on Plumbing Needs for all of my plumbing needs! I know I’ll need HVAC work soon, you Nerds should definitely go into the HVAC field, you really know your stuff!

Anthony did a full electrical inspection, under their Maintenance Service that we signed up for. Anthony was very thorough. I highly recommend The Nerds, especially Anthony. S.W.

Contacted the Plumbing Nerds mid day and by the end of the day their tech Jason had analyzed and identified the issue and offered several solutions to rectify the problem. Very easy company to work with and based on my experience would recommend them.

I am so impressed with Plumbing Nerds! I called for an appointment and got one several weeks out but they called a few days later and said they had an opening that afternoon. The technician, Eddie, was knowledgeable, courteous, super informative…he laid out my options and was back in two days to complete the job. Everything is back working and we have several upgrades that were suggested that I am thrilled about. I highly recommend Plumbing Nerds.

To scam, or not to scam.. that is the question..

Just over a year ago, we had been having some issues with our AC, we had then come out and they told us we needed to replace the entire system. We thought the issue was related to the drainage and the pump because there had been issues with the past but they assured us that the entire system was old and needed to be replaced. We agreed and paid around $9k for the whole system replacement in our condo. Installation went well. Fast forward to just over a year later, our AC goes out. We called them for service, thinking it should be a quick, easy fix. Wrong. Apparently the pump was broken and the lines weren’t replaced. Somehow this wasn’t taken care of with replacing the “entire” system. You would assume a pump is part of a system but nope. Seems a little shady but $1200 later, we have working AC again. Hopefully we will be able to go more than a year without having an issue this time.

They started a large electrical job—relocating electrical service becuase the water near installation they did not pass inspection.
Took all the money. Sold us the nerd pass for which they also refused to give the discount as promised by their sales person. FOUR MONTHS later the job is still not finished. Very disorganized. Poor communication between the foreman and workers. Very disappointed. They don’t want to spend more money to dig a trench so they tried to push it off on FPL who is refusing and so far has shown up 3 times and their workers refused to do it.

TIGHT spot for water heater...the nerd crew removed cabinet and switched out 50 gal tank.

    Cleaned up also!
