Reviews of local pros in Neptune Beach, Florida

Adam and his team have taken on a few significant projects for our HOA. Their price is always fair and the finished product is what we envisioned if not better. Happy to recommend them and look forward to working with them more.

Adam and his team did a great job installing sod in my front yard. He followed up and replaced some dry pieces and ensured everything went well. Highly recommend!

I called to get an estimate to Resod half of my back yard ( had been taken over by torpedo grass) and Adam went over within the hour and I received the estimate later the same day. Within a week the job was done . Sod is beautiful and job was well done. I highly recommend Adam at Southside Outdoor Services.

I had a really great experience from start to finish with Southside Outdoor Services. I had a significant flooding problem in my back/side yard, and due to all the flooding, my yard was in horrible shape landscaping wise. My project included having two French drains installed and then overall landscaping with pavers, rocks and sod. Adam was the point person on my project and he was great to work with. He was on time to every appointment, never kept me waiting. Adam is very knowledgeable and super communicative. He went over my project with me on multiple occasions and was always super patient to answer all my questions. He was also very mindful of staying within my budget.
The day my project was set to start, Adam and his crew were here first thing in the morning and got started right away. And they kept that pace up the whole time. All of the guys working on my project were great - super nice to talk to and just worked their butts off. Adam allotted three days for my project and they had it completely done on the third day. I was really impressed with what they were able to do!
Additionally, when the project was wrapping up, they took the time to help me set up all of my sprinklers (I don’t have an irrigation system) and come up with the best watering system for the new sod.
Unique to my project, is that my Internet wire runs through my backyard. While I mentioned it, I was sure that just in the course of the project they would hit my wire and I’d have to have Comcast come out. Didn’t happen! They were able to locate my wire and move it out of the way. Then at the end of the project, they put the wire back before doing the landscaping. I really appreciated their attention to detail because that saved me the headache of needing to deal with Comcast.
Working with Southside Outdoor Services, I felt like they treated my project and my backyard like it was their own. They took the time to do everything the right way. They paid attention to detail and made things nice. And they made sure that I had what I needed to be successful with all my new sod. I cannot say enough nice things about my experience and I will not hesitate to reach out to Southside Outdoor for my next landscaping project.

Wonderful to work with !

Peggy is a genius and artist and the BEST

Quality work! Provided me with the most affordable quote on my job.

Actually, the first e-mail I got for this review wouldn’t let me me put in more than 3 stars. I didn’t realize it went through. I kept trying it, so I guess it went through more than once with three stars. Sorry, I intended to do five.

Cornelius Construction is one of the bright shining stars of construction and remodeling in the greater Jacksonville area and especially the Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, and Ponte Vedra Beach areas. I became aware of Cornelius Construction 16 years ago and have always thought so highly of their attention to detail, precision work, and versatility of the company. Definitely nice to have people who care about their work and stand behind it.

Peggy and her team are creative, responsive, and professional. Their work is of the highest quality and completed in a timely manner. We love our new bathroom!

4 jobs over past two years. Excellent sub contractors and first class supervision resulted in very successful projects, all Completed on time and on budget.
We would highly recommend the use of Peggy Cornelius and her team.

Peggy and her crew are the best in the business. She is a delight to work with and very creative in transforming the "ugly" into "beautiful". My condo was done on time as promised. Absolutely enjoyed working with Peggy Cornelius Construction.

Peggy’s creativity and eye for design make her an exceptional contractor. We were so lucky to have her renovate our home. Her attention to detail made the process smooth and flawless. When the project was finished, we didn’t even have a punch list because she had already noticed and taken care of everything. Peggy is an incredibly talented and diligent designer/contractor.

I sent an earlier email but neglected to attach the photos. New kitchen remodel in Neptune Beach- delighted with work and the new look.

Tom and the guys were in and out quickly and on time!! Great communication! Thanks Tommy!

Replaced a very old water heater in my condo. Suggested a unit, picked it up and installed within a week!

Wonderful service! 12/10. Always reliable and fast service!! Highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs!

Tom was super helpful! He was very responsive and squeezed me in last minute. Highly recommend!

Excellent service to resolve a very problematic situation. Tom was able to diagnose the issue and saved me tearing out a shower wall of quartz!

He came out promptly. He was able to partially take care of the problem and recommended a company who could do the heavy duty part. Super nice guy.

Thomas was very professional and informative. I appreciated his honest advise and will go to him again in the future.
