I have had the most frustrating experience with this pool company. Their promise to yyou is that they will come out every other week to service your pool and they never show up. I've had to call them over and over to find out why nobody showed up and they tell me that someone is coming the next day and still... nothing. They'll make excuses about the weather and about being short staffed. Going on 3 weeks now without their service and my pool is green. Mind you I only get to see my family from up north in the summer and none of us can enjoy the pool. They will try to sell you their services with their "amazing salt cell" rental. For $90 a month, NOT WORTH IT.

We have been using Economy Pool Service since July 2019 for our rental property. The company helps me troubleshoot issues and fix them quickly. Our tech, John, is a gem! Being an out of town landlord, we deeply appreciate his updates and pictures after each visit. We are very happy with Economy Pool and especially grateful for John.

If I could rate this company a 0, I would. As a new homeowner with a pool, Economy Pools caught me off guard one evening while moving and spoke about this great Salt Water pool system you get for free if you use their service. Seeing I needed new equipment anyway, I decided to give them a chance to quote and use their service.

4/26 I told my sales rep that the reviews of the company absolutely were horrendous, and that we were very hesitant to go with their company. He assured me that I would have the same tech out each time from start to finish, and that we would be “taken care of”. He acknowledged the bad apple reviews and said, “Maybe we need to offer a discount to our customers, so they can leave good reviews!” haha if that doesn’t tell you he is not confident in his company. Cant even tell you if the same tech would come out, because nobody showed, or called to complete the initial service I paid for!!

4/28 - 2 days go by, calls and texts like crazy throughout the day from everyone in the office to get me to sign the contract and to get my CC info to start service and install. That is where the fun starts. They collect money and lots of it, to think you’ll get this amazing service. Asked again for the copy of signed contract. None given.

4/30 - They come out day #1 at a nonspecific time other than “during business hours” and the 2 techs show up to install the new equipment, (not all equipment that I paid for nor quoted was even installed) and the tech cleans for 20 mins and tells me he will be back tomorrow. Eric, the tech said, “Fill the pool mid morning, and I will be back tomorrow” The mechanic tech evidentally left the property too, as we went out to check on the install, and he was gone. We had no clue he left, if he was coming back as he was not completed with the install. No communication! Called my sales rep, Roland and the office, Asked when they would be back and for a copy of the signed contract, told me to call the office and again, No contract received.

5/1 - Tomorrow comes, I have a charge on my cc for $1200, in the early morning hours, call the office repeatedly and was tossed around by so many people until finally speaking to Kassie, and she apologized for the overcharge, she said it was an error. I had to wait for them to credit my debit card the difference of the overcharge. In the same phone call I ask to speak to Mark to question him about when the remainder of the install was going to be done that we were charged for and that were not used, his reply was “don’t worry we will send someone back out there to fix it. Don’t worry you’re in good hands!” HAHAHA. I ask him as well for a copy of the signed contract, none given. Until I finally call repeatedly demanding a contract. Alex sends it over after he hears my frustration about my $1200 overcharge on my account!

no tech showed to clean the pool, no tech to replace/install the parts we paid for, no calls from EP says they were coming and/or running behind,

YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO CANCEL FROM TIME OF SIGNED CONTRACT, and they don’t want you to see that part so they hold the contracts until after the 3 days is up. Sketchy people!

Well so here we are, from the get-go I told them their reviews are horrifying, and they assured me that made changes. Well 4:48 pm on a Friday evening, no call no show from techs, or a heads up that they are coming but running late, totally not surprised by any of it, and cancelled my contract within the 3 day period

So beware of this company! They will cat and mouse chase you for contract signature, money and tell you everything you want to hear. But when it comes down to you, the customer, they do not care. They do not show up, or call, and will avoid you at all costs when there is a complaint from a customer when they can't keep a schedule. They removed the salt system. I will never refer this company to anyone.

Believe the reviews you see. 99% of them are horrible, there is a reason for it. The good reviews are very far between and are probably compensated to write a good review.

*Military Vet* use this company for approx 9 months. The service was horrendous. Major issues include:

    1. Multiple no shows for service. Had to call.... they took so long to make up for the no shows.. it overlapped the scheduled days.. so they was coming 3 days BACK TO BACK to clean the pool to make up for days they missed.

    2. When they took their salt cell.. they never put our old salt cell back on.. they cut the pipes instead of unscrewing the saltwat cell.

    3. Multiple managers and staff replacements. No one would never follow through with their word.

    4. Caught on ring camera Multiple appointments where they stayed less then 2-3 mins.

    5. Scheduled days where it rained.. they didn't come at all.. NOR make up the days.

Would highly recommend NOT USE THEM. Read through all the negative reviews and you will have a good judgement for your self.

In the beginning Economy Pool was being very professional with me and my pool was always take care of. When I ask the pool technician a question he always answerrd my questions and has kept me informed of the status of my pool. After I started having problems with my pool it seemed like he would stop by and leave a note. One note said I had too much water in the pool, after a huge rainstorm. I drained the pool and it still is green like it has been for the past month. I am still with the pool company but not for long... looking for a better pool company.
Update...I canceled the pool service and was reminded I have a 30 day cancelation period. Oh well. I will not use them again.

Still with Economy Pools after about a year...
For the first few months I had problem after problem with the company with nothing but empty promises and outright lies. Once management (possibly ownership?) was changed over and John, service technician, was permanently assigned our account, the service has been nothing but dependable and great quality. John is very knowledgeable and makes sure everything our pool needs is taken care of properly. John is a five star technician. I have trust in the company now.

I recently signed up for this company's bi-weekly pool service. The salesman that stopped by was very helpful and assured me my questions would be answered when the tech came out. When the service was done I received no phone call to talk to the person and missed them. I had another technician come out to look at my pool the following week after I called a couple times to get them to come back. After he left there was a lot of air in the lines, my pool could be heard bubbling from inside the house. I called and was told they would send someone out and no one showed up. Now I cannot get a return call.

I have been using Economy Pools to clean and maintain my salt water pool for over a year. The quality of work has improved greatly over the last 6 months since they switched the tech that cleans my pool. When I had issues in the beginning Eric was great and responsive to fixing the problems.

When my pool filter died Economy pool was extremely helpful in helping me obtain another despite my poor economic status. I'm on Social security only. A shout out to Mark for his great help.
And the technicians are very good at their jobs. The company is very responsive to my calls. I would recommend Economy Pool to anyone in need of a good reliable compny

If I could give negative stars I would. We have used this company for over a year and it's the same thing time after time. I'm sure they've had to do at least 3 green cleans due to them not servicing our pool. Then they want to charge extra.. Don't use them. Just don't waste the time or the money!

WORST EVER…Three weeks ago this company left our pool chlorine toxic. For three or four weeks the pool bottom was not vacuumed. The filter had not been cleaned since they were hired and when I checked the filter,it was black, not green but black and grey. The pool cleaner only once contacted me to inform me he had worked on the pool—no note, no card, nothing to say he had been there once, however, when I saw him cleaning one time and asked him to tell me what he had done, he texted me. Once. Since that day,I,have not seen or heard from him. I had emailed /texted this company with complaints and never heard from them.

Finding a pool service in Florida can be frustrating. I’ve gone through numerous pool services in my almost 30 years of living here. Everything starts out fine and slowly, but surely, goes down hill. Not so with Economy Pools. From the start to now, we have had great service and our pool always is ready to use. All aspects of Economy Pools, from on-site service to the customer service, have been great. In fact, we have recommended their company any time we have been asked fir a great pool service.

Zero communication, pool was Green for 6 weeks before we had to cancel service. Calls went unanswered, tech was useless.

Our pool started turning green. We asked the tech when he was here and he indicated he would shock it.

Next week, pool was still green.

Week 2 pool was very green and called company multiple times with no response.

Week 3 pool was disgusting and talked to on-site tech again. He said that our salt generator needed to be cleaned and he keeps telling his manager. Called again and left messages with no response.

Week 4 finally got someone on the phone and they indicated they would credit us for the month and that he would find out about salt generator issue. Said that the tech should be able to handle the salt generator issue on site and wasn't sure why it wasnt done. Told me he'd call me back with a resolution. Never called back.

Week 5, pool still green and now had "sand" in the bottom the pool.

Week 6, was home when tech was there and he said it should start getting better soon. Asked him about the sand and he said it was probably "DE". Asked him why he didn't let us know last week when he was there and he said "its not my fault". Told him not to come back.

We received an invoice a week later. My wife called and their first sarcastic comment was "Whats the matter, cant pay your bill because of COVID"? She explained the situation above and he said he would note it on the account. Just received a letter from collections for $150.

Not sure how these people are still in business with this kind of service.

I recently went through sales guy Roland and signed up with Economy Pool. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. They came out, on time, and switched my hazardous chlorine pool over to saltwater with a heater. They cleaned my pool and it looks better than it ever has. They are now coming out every other week to clean my pool. I wish I had signed up earlier. Roland was a pleasure to meet and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Economy Pool to anyone. It costs almost the same amount as when I was doing all the cleaning myself with chlorine. Give them a call if you are ready to start swimming in a clean pool!!!!

    Worst pool company ever!
Got sold on service by Dino the sales rep who came by my house. He made it sound all nice with pictures of before and after, free salt water system upgrades, and that he's there for us whenever we need him BS. Immediately when I signed the agreement letter I was charged for the green to clean service and 1st months service without even getting anything done yet. Communication was so poor. I'm away in a different state currently working and have a house sitter. The green to clean was supposed to take 2-3 days to clean. The pool service men called me once and said hell be back another day. Never heard back from him again! No pictures or even proof my pool was clean. Called and texted multiple times to the company, Dino and the pool cleaner and no one got back to me as they are closed on weekends and i finally got in touch with Dino 4 days later. He said " oh I dont know if your pool is clean I'm just the sales rep". In between this, I expressed to him multiple times if he could find out for me, maybe give me a managers number since the office wasn't picking up for days, and he was no help. Dino finally texted me saying no one ended up cleaning my pool while the office on one hand called me back after some days saying it was done and I can't get a refund. In the end all i got was my pool POSSIBLY cleaned and 40$ back for the month of service I cancelled. DO NOT USE THEM!

Hired this company to clean pool. When first hired the guy said he knows we will take it for the special then cancel. That was not the case. We wanted someone to take care of our pool. First tech came out. Told him after he started cleaning it is a salt water pool. The tech said really? Ummm yes. Here's the equipment and you can obviously see it is. We are on week 3. Hot tub is green. Tried calling for a week now and no answer. Can't cancel. No human returns calls or answers the phone.

NOT RECOMMENDED. I signed up when their door to door rep came knocking and offered a price that seemed very competitive. I was promised great service and had a written contract for what would be done. The first issue was with the salt generator, I was told about 6 different times it was going to be installed a specific date and it never was during that whole time. Finally it got installed over a month after I joined but the pool's salt level wasn't set properly so it wasn't doing its job.

The bigger issue was with the regular cleanings. There was a long list of things supposed to be done (netting, vacuuming, brushing, etc.) along with the fact that the tech was supposed to let me know when he arrived and also leave a note when he left that he had been here and what was done. This was supposed to happen ever two weeks.

Most of the time the tech was here less than 5 minutes, added some chlorine and then left. More recently there was a 3 week gap in cleanings. I had to call a supervisor out who finally came and took care of the cleaning properly, but also advised that the techs didn't have the proper equipment to vacuum my pool as I expected (getting loose small debris like sand from the bottom).

After this, the tech came back to my house the next week, knocked on my back door and asked me to come outside. He didn't announce his arrival at the front door and as soon as I opened the door he aggressively came at me and asked "Hey, y'all keep calling these people and telling them I'm not doing my job, what is it I'm not doing?". This was done with my 6 year old right there. The fact that he was allowed back on my property in the company uniform and truck after I had shown multiple times that he wasn't doing the proper job was completely unacceptable. I've been told this tech is no longer with the company but this just shows that they didn't tell him how to correct things.

Ultimately I asked to cancel service because this became a safety concern and there were NUMEROUS documented failures where they never did the job the right way. I was reminded that I had a 30 day notice period and even though I didn't want them to come service the pool anymore I should still expect to be charged for the month of September.

Highly recommend steering clear of this company. They don't do the job right, aren't properly equipped, and don't handle issues appropriately.

Stay away from this pool company! The pool technicians either claim they cleaned your pool or leave your pool in worse condition before they came. I had at least 3 technicians service our pool. When you call customer service they either question your concern or just play it off. Telling it's up to the technician on what needs to be done, regardless of what you pay for! We gave them more than one opportunity. They switched our technician multiple times with no change. Our walls started to get green under their care, so we tested the water with unacceptable results! We installed security cameras, so they stopped argueing with us about the poor service we received.

Terrible experience! I had a service rep visit and assess my pool. I just requested weekly cleanings. We signed a contract. Upon the first visit thereafter, the cleaner refused to clean the pool unless I purchased an additional $300 service. I called the service manager (several times), who never had the decency to even return my call. I finally (finally, after two weeks) got through to a rep on the phone who advised my "case" is being reviewed. My case?? The next day I called back and he advised they decline to service my pool (no further explanation). I was appalled. I guess my money isn't good here.

Words I would use to describe my experience with Economy Pool: Duplicitous, Deceitful, Predatory, Disrespectful, Careless, Rude, Unresponsive, Dismissive, Unreliable, Dishonest, Volume vender, Unprofessional, Trash.

I am a very understanding person but this has been the worst service I have ever received in my life. Short version.....Hired them to do monthly pool service. Didn’t show up for 3 weeks but still took money out of my account. Been waiting on a part to use it for months. Been waiting for my light to be fixed for months. I have called and get told someone will call me back and nothing. I am told that they are looking into it and it’s now been 8 days and nothing. I will be canceling my service and will be requesting a refund. $80 a month and one day of service is unbelievable. I have never been so frustrated with a business.

    DONT DO IT. Horrible!!
Bought our first pool home (but not first home), in July 2020. The DAY AFTER CLOSING, you guys were knocking on my door. Despite having a pool company already in the works, we cancelled that agreement because we felt like your company would be better, more knowledgeable and helpful for a first time pool owner. This is certainly far from the case.
You guys installed our salt cell, and started maintaining regularly, but then on Tuesday last week, I came out to what appeared to be algae, and was told the pool was just shocked so to scrub daily and it would go away. Okay, cool. Well, I mentioned to the technician I felt like we needed a new pump because I started to notice a burning smell the day before, so I needed a quote on a pool pump. You guys called within the hour with the quote. Still great, but we wanted a few more quotes, and specifically a variable speed pump, which wasn’t offered, so we assumed it wasn’t an offering. So I started getting more quotes.
BOTH parties who came to quote us on the pump said the salt cell was installed correctly, and that the house was at risk for fire due to the exposed wiring due to just drilling a hole in the side of the box without additional protection from rain, AND there were wires just hanging out of the thing when it was opened! I never touched it, because I pay you guys to handle it. Plus, I’m not the expert... YOU ARE. So the last guy that came quickly asked if I would like him to fix it (his company will also be getting notified of my dissatisfaction) and naturally, I said yes because I don’t want my home to burn down with my family inside. Well, I did not realize he was disconnecting the thing. But he did. Upon asking what I should do (because I’m freaking out at this point), he said “call your pool company and tell them this is a traditional pool until they install your cell safely.” So I called you guys... crying. Desperate. Was told manager would be here Monday. Manager never shows. So I call Tuesday morning, I’m told someone will be here Thursday. Fine.
Today is Friday, and still a no show. I called first thing this morning and was told “your technician is scheduled for Tuesday, he’ll be there then.” I begged. Offered to pay a service fee if needed. And nothing. No help.

Now. Now my pool is green and my pump went out today. Thanks for the stellar service. I would never recommend you to anyone, and I fully intend to let everyone know my experience. I’m in complete shock.
