Back on 11/3/21 I stopped into The store on Beach Boulevard inquired about a Service Call to Repair My Dryer,
I was Greeted by young lady named Christy Who Answered All My Questions Without
"Fluff".
A Service Call was Set up for 11/4/21,
Technician Troy showed up Early in The Time Block Diagnosed The Problem install The Parts & All has Been well & Good Do I Recommend Ace "Yes I do"

An Ace technician came to my house the same day I called for service. My 3.5 ton AC unit had quit working. It turned out that a safety device was triggering the stop due to depleted freon. Troy, (the technician) traced the problem to a leaking coil in my attic air handler. He took me through the troubleshooting process and let me see the diagnostics device readouts to show the problem. He worked with his contacts to find the most economical way to replace the coil. He drew up a few options for my wife and I to take to get a working AC unit again. My wife and I decided that it would be better to simply replace the whole system because simply replacing the coil was 50% of the cost of system replacement (our system was 10 years old already). Within two days two very hard working HVAC techs installed a whole new Goodman 3.5 ton system within 1/2 a day. They vacuumed up the mess and guided me through how to best do my own service.

I thought this was a very fair transaction. The service was top-notch and professional. I didn't get the snake-oil-salesman vibe I get from most mechanical service companies I've had in the past. I truly believe I was not "oversold" on items I didn't need. Additionally, the original service call fee was doped and there were no "surprise" fees upon payment. Everything that was agreed upon was done with no pressure. I'll use these guys again if the need arises.

Called to get a part number for the part this company wanted to replace with the manufacture on the call for my refrigerator. The woman who answered the phone was absolutely rude and felt bothered that I was price shopping their part and hung up on us. Come to find out, the part was extremely less expensive from the manufacturer than Ace was trying to charge me in addition to the $300+ in labor for a 15 minute job.

Stay away!!!!

I was having issues with my A/C over the past few weeks. I called Ace to come out and give me an estimate for replacing it completely after having bought individual items for my A/C from their store. They came out and listened to my problem and honestly assessed that I likely didn't need a new system, the tech informed me on what I need to do to fix my current problems. I bought the required parts and fixed my system myself. All in all, Ace saved me from spending an unnecessary $4000 dollars. Like I mentioned before I've bought parts from their store directly before and was greeted in person and on the phone with professional and helpful clerks. Highly recommend them across the board!

Troy was awesome, he came over and fixed it the 1st time was here about 15-20 min problem solved. Called when on their way gave me a 40 min heads up!

BUYER BEWARE. This company will sell you an incorrect item and then not refund you or exchange it. We needed two parts to fix our broken stove. We gave the representative our stove's brand, model, and serial number. The representative sold us the parts that were supposed to be what we needed. When we attempted to repair our stove, the parts did not align correctly so we called a professional service who came out and could not use the parts because they belonged to a different brand of stove. We contacted Ace Air Conditioning & Appliance because we were sold the incorrect part. They would not refund or exchange even though it was an error on their part. Whether the business intentionally scammed us or made a mistake, they would not make it right. How often have they purposely sold a high priced item incorrectly to a customer and then made off with the money? Seems I'm not the only one either according to other reviews. I will never do business here again even if I have to pay more money elsewhere. You just can't trust them.

Thank you Ace for being a professional, top notch, dependable company. You received the call this morning about my downstairs AC unit not working properly and within two hours had Troy one of the most Awesome technicians come out to check out the problem. To my surprise when I answered the door it was the same Troy for a few months ago who had replace the AC thermostat on the same unit we were having the issue with. When I tell you he is so knowledge about his profession that he was able to figure out what was wrong, repair the outside unit and to top that off remove and replace the non working fan inside of the handler
I cannot say enough about how GREAT TROY is enough.... Thank you for making my Friday Wonderful Troy!

I have known Troy for over 20 years and can tell you that he is one of the
most professional and honest businessman I have ever known. Every service call he has ever made has either been a successful repair,or an honest evaluation of whether it was cost effective to repair vs replace. He has NEVER led me wrong! Do not hesitate to call Ace Appliance!

I had no idea who to call to fix a dishwasher, but I am glad I called ACE! Troy was so knowledgeable and professional and the cost to repair was fair for the amount of work he did. Office staff was also very friendly and helpful. Troy came out twice since he had to order the part, but didn't charge me anything until it the repair was completed.

My AC went out in March. Ace Air Conditioning came highly recommended. Troy came out, he was very nice and personable. He was concerned my compressor was bad but he couldn't get it to run long enough to really tell if it was working properly. He made multiple attempts. Troy was very informative and advised me of my options. I decided to proceed with a whole new unit. A co-worker of mine recently had to replace her unit and one of the local companies came out and quoted her approximately $10,000 for 1800sq ft home. Pricing was fair and no where near $10,000. His guys came out and installed everything. I live in a townhome and the way everything is laid out, he was pretty sure he would have to cut my screen on my patio as it left very little room to work. His guys were awesome. Of course, I gave them full permission to cut the screen but they replaced it without cutting the screen. They followed up with me to make sure I wasn't having any problems. Great work, Great Price and Great customer service. You really can't beat that. I would highly recommend these guys.

I originally used Ace to get a replacement fan motor for my air handler, and started using their service department for any issues that were out of my ability with my heat/ac unit. They always seem to be able to get a tech to you the same day you call, even on days where I'm sure everyone else in the city is having ac issues (july and august). The techs diagnose the issues very quickly, are well experienced in the products of different manufacturers, won't push services, or unnecessary parts on you. Very trustworthy, and I've let them inside my home when I was at work. They always leave the work area clean, installs and repairs are top notch with good attention to detail, and what you get from them compared to what they charge is always a great value. Thanks to Troy and Greg for the great work they did!!

I called Ace to see if they had a part I needed to repair my refrigerator. When I told the lady what I needed, she almost immediately told me that "it's probably not THAT part that failed but this OTHER part that failed". OK then. Some sort of psychic appliance repair place, I'm wondering. When I went in she looked at and tested the part I had brought with me that I thought was bad. It was fine. So I bought the part she suggested. Took it home, installed it, and my refrigerator is running like a champ! Brilliant! Nice people who really know their stuff - what a pleasant surprise. Also the price for my part was more than reasonable - a bargain actually. Just an excellent place to do business.

Well everyone, we got through Milton with flying colors. Some were not so lucky but generally J-ville is ok. What I didn’t say before is that on top of the hurricane, our air conditioner went out on Monday. We have been surviving with a window unit in our bedroom but on the advice of our friends Michael and Davida we called Ace air conditioning and we were saved. Ace air conditioning came out same day and quoted us less then their competitors and said we’re can have it in today! Friday night at 4:30 they were here replacing the inside and outside unit! Our other guys were telling us the 23rd of October!

I had a great experience with this company from the office staff to the owner Troy. After another company recommended replacement without even looking, I called Ace to come quote me a new system as well. Upon arrival, Troy asked several questions to get a better understanding of my needs, and was curious to take a quick look before blindly suggesting a new system. After some diagnostics, he was actually able to repair a shorted wire that was the problem the entire time. Troy was friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. I will definitely use them over the bigger companies from now on.

ACE has done an excellent job of helping me keep my older ac running through this very hot summer. I have had nothing but great and professional dealings with this company from the staff, who is knowledgeable and kind, to the tech, who has always been very professional and honest. He has offered solutions to keep our ac unit running when other companies try to make an extra buck and try to sell me a new unit. Thanks to Ace and staff for your help, great service, and honesty. I would, and have, recommended this business to anyone in need of ac service, installation, or appliance repair!

Was in need of immediate assistance ac compressor not working. With the temperature going up I immediately called Ace and was pleasantly and quickly set up with an appointment! Ricky the technician came out on time and communicated prior to his arrival! Great technician! Genuine, easy to talk to and informative! Thank-you guys for helping me out in a crunch!! Had this company come out about three weeks ago put a part on my refrigerator started working was around $300 told me to call if I had any more problems with it, got to work today and the refrigerator was not cooling top or bottom so I waited till they opened I called They wouldn’t even entertain sending anybody out or coming and standing good for the part that they just put on. They just said well if it went out, nothing else we can do wouldn’t even come look at it. The refrigerator is not that old but bottom line is they said call if I had any more problems with it. I called when I had another problem with it and they wouldn’t even entertain coming to look at it. I spent $300.00 3 weeks ago and they wouldn’t even stand by their word so if you are looking for a honest standby their word type business this is not the one.

ECM went out in my air handler and the house was warming up quickly. We called Ace and they were able to send someone the same day, so fast! Troy was our tech; he is incredible. Was able to confirm the issue and replace the fan unit within just a few minutes. This is the place you want, local people and LOCALLY OWNED! Honest, pleasant, trustworthy, and caring.
