I needed someone who was available ASAP, when I called Carlos he came as soon as I needed him to. He was very flexible with working with my timeline and was very kind and understanding. Would definitely work with him again.

Carlos was great. Showed up on time which is rare now a days. Installed my ceiling fan in a quick professional manner. I was very pleased with his work. All around great guy, made it look simple with 20ft ceilings. Would definetly use him again for my home projects.

I recently hired Southside & Co. to install pendant lights over my kitchen island in my new house in Mascotte, FL, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the beginning, they were very prompt with scheduling and the overall vibe was that of a friendly company. They did not pressure me to spend more and worked well within my budget, which I greatly appreciated.

The installation process was smooth and efficient, and the result was stunning. I love my new pendant lights and have had no issues throughout the process. On December 17th. We called for a quote. A few days later they are supposed to come see the broken door frame in person at 5. And they never show up. We call and text. No answer. We rearranged our whole schedule so that they could come and look at our door and it was for nothing. The fact that they didn’t even text or call or what set me off. The next day they try to reschedule, we accept and they again do not show up. Except this time they say they are working late and cannot make it. So at least we got some communication there. Then they finally make it out to see it. But have yet to come to actually fix it. It’s been a week. We have called and texted and got no response. At this point we are looking at other companies and making sure no one from our community uses this company. This was such a HUGE waste of time. Almost a MONTH of communication with this company for them to fix our door. It’s now 1/7/25, and we still haven’t even gotten a call or text back from them.

These people were AMAZING to communicate with. I had a water heater leak emergency and while I ultimately had to select another company due to scheduling conflicts, I still needed to come on here to praise Ashley (a true Queen). She communicated with me very thoroughly and did her best to get me in ASAP. She was very assuring and informative which is exactly what I needed. I would recommend anyone call Southside first to see if they can help you with your needs. I called up at least 8 company’s and Southside gave me the best/most reasonable quote for my situation (again due to the flooding emergency and scheduling conflict I had to take someone else’s slightly higher price), otherwise I would have waited for them. They have a huge variety of services to offer and we will absolutely be calling them up again when we need something.

These people are horrible. Called for a quote and got one no problem. They set a price and a date. On the night before I sent out a text and they said they would have to reschedule. No warning, no heads up. Ridiculous

Then they wouldn’t reply after I demanded an explanation. Like I was the issue

So. to start this review, the actual tile installation was great! That is why they received 2 stars instead of 1 star. Their actual business professionalism, integrity and time management skills are a completely different story. We scheduled with them and then they cancelled, they rescheduled, and they cancelled again. So then we agreed that the tile job would be done the week after Thanksgiving. We confirmed they would be here at approximately 930 am. We found out at 10 pm the night before that they forgot they had an appointment and couldn't be here at 930. Meanwhile, our appointment had been made at least a month in advance. They didn't show up until 1130 that day, looked at what was needed, and left for an hour and a half. Then they worked for about an hour and a half and left again for at least 2 hours. They came back, worked again for approximately 1 1/2 hours, and then left for the day. Saying they would return the next morning at 8. The next morning arrived, and they DIDN'T arrive until 12 pm. Worked for about 3-4 hours and then left for the day saying they would be back to complete the job first thing in the morning. The next morning arrived, and they didn't. We called, we texted; and finally we reached the business manager, and she said there had been an accident the day before but they were going to try to come and finish the job. The only thing that still needed to be completed was to seat the toilet and grout the tile in the bathroom. Someone finally came at 230 or 3 and finished the grout; but then said they cracked the lid on the back of the toilet and broke off the bolt that seated the toilet. He said he'd be back on Friday to finish the job. We have never heard from him since after multiple attempts on several days. In addition, we had to call a plumber to check out the toilet; and not only did they break the bolt; but the flange, and it is now going to cost us almost $1000 to fix what Southside &
Co Handyman services broke.

These guys are total pros. Joe did an amazing job helping me make decisions on where to place lights to get the best results. The team came out the next week got everything installed and walked me through how it all looked. They were extremely helpful and polite. They even came back in the evening to take a look and make sure everything was right and when I asked to have a few things tweaked they were back out in a couple days to make the adjustments. If I ever want to add lights to this house or a house in the future I will definitely be working with them.

Just had LED lights installed on the front of our house and pool enclosure today and I highly recommend Joe and his team. One of the most professional individuals I have had a pleasure to work with. The communication from start to finish was exceptional and we love the product. His team made sure the product was installed perfectly (even for someone who has OCD) and Joe did not leave us until all our questions were answered.
