Subject: Feedback on Consultation with Dr. House Remodel

I recently contacted Dr. House Remodel to inquire about painting my home. Mr. Bracamonte responded promptly via text and was consistently professional, courteous, and quick to address all of my questions. He was transparent about their process and clearly explained the requirements, including a 45% deposit to begin work. At this time, we are exploring financing options for the project, and since Dr. House Remodel does not offer financing, we are unable to proceed. If our circumstances were different, we would not hesitate to hire Mr. Bracamonte and Dr. House Remodel based on the excellent experience we had during our inquiry.

I would also like to share brief feedback regarding the Thumbtack platform, which we used to connect with Dr. House Remodel. I was disappointed to learn that Thumbtack charged Mr. Bracamonte approximately $140 simply for receiving our inquiry, even though the project is not moving forward. While I understand that platforms have operating costs, this fee structure feels high for leads that do not result in a job. I hope Thumbtack will consider more flexible or outcome-based pricing to better support both professionals and customers.

Alex and his team did an excellent job. I contacted him over the weekend for sheetrock installation and spackling. After I shared a few photos, he quickly provided a quote and was already on-site by Monday.

He worked long hours, stayed beyond the usual schedule, and went above and beyond to get the job done on time. His pricing was fair and competitive, and he was very organized—taking great care to protect the existing floors throughout the process.

Doctor House is amazing! They’re willing to take on big and small projects and always send their best to perform the work. I have used them twice in the past month for small projects. What matters the most to me is that they’re very responsive to your request and they perform the work professionally. Some companies are too busy to text with you or to solidify an appointment. This company has excellent communication! I intend to use them more in the future and highly recommend them to others!
