HVAC reviews in Orlando, Florida

obviously I'm not the 1st unhappy customer. They have a 2.7 rating on Google and 3.1 on FB.
Please do your self a favor and stay away from this company. They were sent for service through my AC insurance and they were a complete nightmare. 3 weeks later and the AC is still not functional.
The tech does not reply the the tech himself admitted to having horrible office staff. They DO NOT answer calls.
Tech comes the first time stays the coil and says this will take care of it. comes the second time sprays it and leaves. plain laziness. I do not know how these people are still in business. -
TL,dr: if you have AHS and they assign you this company, ask for someone else. They’re dishonest.
American Home Shield sent them our way after we had an issue with the heater. Paid $75 for the first guy to come and reset the circuit breaker. He said the problem was solved. A couple months later, the heater was still not working properly. Paid $0 for the repair ticket to be reopened and a second tech to be sent over. Second tech said he’d need to drain the freon to replace a valve. When asked if he’d reuse the freon, he said he couldn’t due to EPA standards. Bill for new freon was in excess of $800 which is not covered by AHS. Funny how freon is the same story for other negative reviews. Once I heard that, I paid $80 for a second opinion from a reputable hvac company and was told that 1. The freon wouldn’t have to be drained but could be stored in the system while the valve was replaced; and 2. If the freon had to be removed, it could be reused—which he then showed me where it is specifically stated on the EPA website. -
My AC went down on a Tuesday night and I call AHS after paying the 75$ service fee World Class AC came the next day and fixed. I have not had any further issues with my unit.
After, receiving great service from the technician I asked him why their rating is so poor. He explained that AHS allows us the customer to rate them thru a app that is used when they come out to service. The majority of customers with good experiences rate thru that app and not other platforms. Also, he explained that since AHS is a Insurance the process becomes more cumbersome and is not as fast as when you call a regular company and pay right then and there. He also stated that since most AC unit that are serviced thru AHS are older than the 10 to 15 year life span a manufacture recommends it becomes a longer process as well. I guess at the end of the day one has to consider that if your unit is older, you will be able to fix it but, you will continue to have more breakdowns because maybe its time to buy a new one. At least AHS helps you get back up and running while you save to buy a new unit.
All and all I felt that the Tech was knowledgable, transparent, and very friendly. I would recomend World Class AC. -
I told the A/C that ins not cooling, the temperature. Is hot, Florida in July, Minutes later American Home Shield text with the information of World Class A/C.WORLD CLASS A/C INC said that they can go on Friday from 8 to 5 pm on Friday!! 5 days without A/C or a diagnostic of what is wrong! That is rediculus!! 2 days after said time frame should be within 4 hours. I gave a cell number of the person that will be in the house and my cell. Your technician said that he called, email and text several times which is a total lie. I only received 1 phone call and answered it and that was one call from your company 10 minutes before the technician Nelson was arriving to the house. Nelson was grocer saying that he had not taken my money out of my pocket and lying bad comments towards AHS.

After scheduling our appointment through American Home Shield, I saw the reviews online and was VERY concerned. Because our appointment was the next day and our air conditioning wasn't working well, I felt we had no choice but to keep the appointment. Because the reviews weren't all that great, we were already to battle for fair service.
Edwin, our service tech, was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgable, informative and friendly. We asked a million questions and he answered them all in detail. He also gave us some tips on preventative care for our unit. I couldn't be happier with our experience. World Class AC has a great tech! Thanks, Edwin!!!
AHS covered everything and we were out of pocket only the AHS service fee. -
I couldn't say enough about this company! They are the most honest and trustworthy A/C company in the area. Another company was assigned to me prior to World Class by AHS and they were a disaster. The initial company told me I my system was low on gas by over 10 pounds and to fill it they charge $85 per pound. They went on to recommend I replace the whole system at a cost of $12,000. I told AHS I wanted another opinion. After about 6 hours on the phone with AHS they finally agreed to send World Class A/C out.
So glad they came! Lou is fantastic with World Class A/C. He is extremely honest and caring. Right away he found the leak that they other company could not. He told me I was only down 3 pounds and topped me off for only $120 versus the $850 or $12,000 they other company wanted! Love World Class A/C! Thank you and God bless! -
American Home Shield sent this company out related to no A/C. Technician did not even come inside to check out inside unit before stating we need a new compressor which as ordered and replaced over a week later. At time compressor replaced and we paid $250.00 for Freon...well 4 days later A/C not working again. Called American Home Shield again who tried to reach this company...along with myself and left several messages with no return call. Last message stated I was disputing charges...that call they returned and although the Freon is covered/warrentied for 60 days and only lasted 4 days they will not refund money because did not give them a chance to address issue. They did not return my calls and their skilled technician did not even check the inside unit...and they want another chance...to what take more money for a half a** job... World Class...more like NO Class. Run far and fast from this company. A reputable company came out and is taking care of the issue and stated compressor and Freon was a waste of time and money...again run far and fast from World Class AC.

Nelson is excellent on what he does! He is professional and concise. He was able to diagnosis my AC problem in 10 minutes after 3 technicians failed from the previous company. I would recommend Nelson from Word Class AC! I was signed up with Nelson through American home Shield after the first company was failed to fix my AC for 3 months! I knew -- Crazy! Total air care (The Previous AC company that AHS sent to me) is a Horrible company not only their technicians F-ORL( Andrew Maroj) NO Call NO show 3 times! Their customer service even worse since take them 3 hours hold time to pick up your call or put you on hold and then hang up! Say NO to total air care when AHS sign up for you, instead ask for World-Class Ac Nelson! Unless you want to stay in the heat without AC like me for three months!
Nelson from World Class AC, Inc is the best, and I support knowledge person who did a great job, especially from a family business! -
Excellent communications with the office and scheduling. Nelson, Nick and Brian each played a role in our very complicated and difficult repairs. Very respectful, professional and competent; each of them. The diagnosis itself was difficult but, they were thorough and we are completely satisfied with the results. We are American Home Shield customers and this is the best vendor we've used associated with them.
Most impressed with the work ethic. No time wasted and lots of effort expended. -
When my A/C stopped running during the September heat wave due to what appeared to be low freon, I the called company I've been using the last couple of years for maintenance to have them look at it. I thought it would just require a re-charge and all would be good. They came out the following day and after charging $185 for the call and to check for leaks, I was told the leak in my coil could not be repaired and my only option was to replace the unit for either $7,000 or $10,000. Granted the unit is over 18 years old, but we've never had any issues with it in all those years.
Rather than replace it, I opened a ticket with American Home Shield to get a second opinion and see if it would be covered. The following day Lou from World Class A/C came out to look at it. I explained what the other company had said and showed him where the leak was. I fully understand that the first option with AHS is to repair the unit and after testing the line, Lou confirmed that they would try to repair the coil at their shop. The entire time he was here, he was very professional and explained everything in detail.
Since it was a Thursday afternoon, I knew I'd be without A/C until at least Monday. Luckily we have two units for the house and our bedrooms still had A/C while the living area was without it. Yes, it was extremely uncomfortable running just fans for several days on that side of the house with 95+ heat indexes, but by Tuesday the repair was completed and Lou was back out to re-install the coil...and the unit has worked perfectly since. Throughout the process, Lou and the office communicated with me to let me know when he'd be out and update me on the status of the repair.
With the $75 AHS service fee plus $100 to re-fill the freon it cost me less for the repair than what I paid the other company to do absolutely nothing. Although the circumstances were difficult, I was very pleased with how World Class A/C handled the issue and wish I had gone through AHS initially instead of wasting several days by calling the other guys. -
If I could rate a zero star I would, I’m a American Home Shield customer and despite the fact that World Class AC decided not to show up on 3 different scheduled appointments I was forced to use this company. Here I am now after 3 no shows and 2 repair visits the AC is still not fixed and neither American Home Shield or World Class AC cares enough to resolve the issue. American Homes Shield only solution is to charge us another service fee to get someone who will actually fix the unit

Dreadful customer service. Just the worst phone etiquette and professionalism. I’m a American Home Shield customer and the fact that World Class AC decides when it’s convenient for them to show up is terrible. They cancel then reschedule your appointment multiple times. They will give you a four hour window finally and then you don’t hear from them. Their window was until 4pm. I said okay but after 4 I have a prior commitment. When they wanted to arrive at 5pm I said no-can-do and they were so unprofessional about it. Huge double standard. Neither American Home Shield or World Class AC cares enough time do their jobs.

After dealing with fluctuating temperatures in my home, I decided it was time for a change. The team arrived punctually, working efficiently to install the ductless system. Their expertise was evident as they explained the process and answered all my questions. Within four hours, my home felt comfortable again, and I was impressed by the quiet operation of the new unit. I'm thrilled with the result and appreciate the team's professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommended!
