They were professional and on-time. We had them install a new Trane system 4 years ago and it's worked great. They recently came out to perform a maintenance service and we will be getting new ductwork soon. I'll update once that job is complete.

Anthony was superb and saves the day! Was on time. Professional. Very knowledgeable. I wish all service providers could provide the same level of expertise that Anthony did.

I never put a bad review in my life, even though sometimes I should have done it . But this time is beyond anything you could imagine. One of my good friends recommended this company for being trustworthy. So I called them to check what is wrong with my AC unit because the cold air was diminished in power. A technician arrived and after he checked, he started to lie. He mislead and scary me that an animal entered under my house and made a mess with my ductwork and it will cost me $2700 for fixing it. I asked him why it costs me so much. He said that they have to dig and change the ductwork. I said why they have to dig if the house is not on the ground, being a mobile home. He insisted they have to do it, which is totally absurd because nothing is under the ground. So I trusted him and asked him if there is any way to fix it and not to cost me so much, because of my financial situation. He was very firm and told me that it is a big job after the animal caused that damage. A friend of mine was present in my house during this conversation and she will testify in court that everything I said is true. So I paid $1400 in advance for them to come the third day . Fortunately I was home when they came to repair it and I entered under the house with the technician to see the"Big Damage ". Practically it was just a 5 minutes of work, to tied up the ductwork on the vent with a plastic tie. A small portion of the ductwork popped off from the vent. Everything else was perfectly intact and clean. I have pictures with everything. Being under the house and seeing all the "Big Damage ", I was talking on the phone with the owner of the company, explaining that $2700 is kind of ridiculous for 5 minutes of work and he started to contradict me and saying that is not only 5 minutes because the first technician saw a "Big Damage ", which the technicians at that moment disagreed with that and fixed it in 5 minutes and of course they didn't have to dig anything, because everything is above ground. So can you imagine, if I didn't check myself under the house to see the "Big  Damage ", I would have ended up to pay $2700 for 5 minutes work!!! The second day when I talked with the owner (Danny), told him about how stressed I was with everything and questioned $1400 that I  gave in advance ( even though I requested the itemized bill with labor and hours to technician, which I didn't receive it!) ,he said that the animal" could have been in the ductwork " and poison my house. I told him and the first technician also ,that the animal entered under my house more than a year ago and left the second day, after I put Irish soap bar shredded in the hole. Just think how odor could have been in my house after more than a year, sitting in my ductwork dead or alive. So yes, I was ripped off and I hope nobody will experience the stress I have been with this company. Now you can decide if Sunshine Heating &Air Conditioning is trustworthy for calling, if you have issues with your AC. Sorry for my grammar.

Had a new AC installed summer 2018 at my rental. They installed it very poorly as it has stopped working/blowing cold 2 times in 13 months. Both times they at least admitted fault in improper installation. However, the second time it went out they took 3 days to get out to the house. I am not happy having to send "I apologize" gift cards each time.

Unfortunately this is a negative review regarding services from this vendor. Air conditioning unit was installed last year. Started having cooling issues so we had another company come out to inspect issue. The Dri-Cleaner refrigerant filter dryer air flow had been installed backwards. There were gaps around the ducts and the wall. So many other issues also. Even the unit itself wasn't what we thought we ordered. A3 ton versus a 3.5 ton. So many problems. And it's a straight cooled system not cool and heat.

This is the 3rd time I have used Sunshine and I've been very satisfied every time.
My air went out on the hottest day of the year and Sunshine had a tech out here in a couple of hours.
The tech had me up and cooling in no time ... At a great rate too.
Truth is, the tech could have told me I needed to replace the compressor and I would not have known any better.
A couple of parts and we're good to go.

I bought an AC from them 8 years ago. I've been happy with the purchase and installation. I had mold grow in my AC this year, possibly due to water damage from a neighbors broken pipe. Sunshine helped me uptain a great loan to help me with the removal of the mold. I hope their good service continues.

We rent a house and our landlord uses Sunshine for AC and heating needs, The condenser failed and Brenda in the office was kind enough to search for a new part, the tech Mark returned that very day and installed it and once again we had a cool home. We can't say enough positive things about this company because for the 9 years we have been here their customer service has always been above and beyond.

If you ever called them ask for a written estimate.
Ted showed up to my door very friendly. He took 5 minutes to detect the leak and said it will cost $200 to get fixed.
I asked him how much will be for the Freon and said between $200 to $300.
He already has been working as Tech for long time fixing air conditioners.
He gave me an educated guess.
He took around one hour.
The bill was $771 . $79 for diagnostic $200 for repair and $492 for the Freon.
I was misled.

My advice to you: Have nothing to do with this company. Two years ago, for thousands of Dollars they sold us and installed a new AC system. Several months ago the system stopped cooling our home. It was leaking the Freon. Then water started to come out of the system and wetted our carpet. We had to get a professional drier. After many weeks of waiting for replacement parts, they came and repaired it. We had to pay over an additional $1,000 for what should be a unit under warranty. Having no A/C in Florida is bad. Dealing with this company was worse. When time comes to replace the unit, we are not going to this company ever, again. Spare yourself headaches. Shop elsewhere.

Don & Anthony were awesome. We were having issues with our AC in the disgusting heat wave of Orlando and they came out in 15 minutes. They were also able to not only fix the issue, but they also pointed out a potentially scary issue that needs to be fixed with our house which was so helpful and we're grateful they brought that to our attention. I don't need to deal with the Florida heat and a fire!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have actually used this company for 20 years and bought 2 new units. I have always been impressed with the way they always arrive on time, take their time, they explain everything, and they listen and answer questions honestly. They lady who runs the office, Brenda, is fantastic. If I have questions or am unsure about something, she will find out the answer for me. I am a single female who owns her own home and this company is absolutely essential to me. Thank you Sunshine Heating and Air Conditioning!!!

Im calling to make an appointment because my A/C is not working. I send text message and anybody call me back.
Im client for many years and have some problem with my A/C and finally they replace me the unit. I need appointment at soon it's possible.

We had them install a new system 6 years ago. Ever since the system was installed, the outside unit would randomly cut off/not start/draw too much current. We gave them the benefit of the doubt of 6 years (and literally thousands of $$$, we have all the receipts/records). Finally went with a different A/C company, come to find out Sunshine had not installed the surge protection correctly and had not installed new capacitors or start kits like they claimed they did.

I don't think Sunshine itself is as dishonest and incompetent, but the subcontractors they use. These guys are clueless, installing things wrong or make things worse by breaking new things. If you use these people, be sure they don't send one of those subcontractors.

Had major difficulty solving my a/c issues with two other companies in my area who tried to up charge immediately, and beat me for money.

My unit was still under warranty for parts but it was up to me to find the right company for the labor.
So, I contacted *Sunshine Heating and Air Conditioning* whom I should've called in the first place.
Sunshine was honest, fair, and upfront with pricing, and handled all my warranty issues...once they did their diagnostic test, we agreed on labor price...There were no hidden fees involved, or falsely finding problems in my situation to add to the bill.

Sunrise sent over the right service HVAC guy who is also the field supervisor for their company...This set very well with me...knowledgeable was what I needed...He was on time and very professional, and in the same breath, he has a sense of humor...Me being extremely frustrated, this humor calmed me down, knowing that if he wasn't worried, then neither should I...

(Ted Duarte) was the guy they sent to my property, and Ted knew exactly and what to do, and without hesitation...He walked me through the entire process, and assured me that he could get me up and running soon... My compressor was shot but still under warranty Ted went above and beyond to get me a new one the next day...His company drove to another city to pick it up for me so I wouldn't have to wait on delivery trucks and processing hold ups...

Folks👉This is my go to guy from now on and if your having any a/c issue I'd definitely recommend Ted and his company for service done right.

I'll be sure to tell all my friends who have a/c issues to call Sunrise and ask for (Ted) specifically, now & future...

This is the guy and if you don't request him , (Hint) you may not get him.
I don't normally give long reviews of this magnitude but I was extremely impressed by this company and workers... if you find time to finish reading this review and happen to call on Sunrise for A/C repairs you'll understand why I took the time.

BEWARE, THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER. Danny came to our house for FPL Stress Free and gave an estimate for new hvac. Estimate was high but we have an unusual home. Danny was there most of the time but work was slow, he requested I call to find out about electrical permit because his subcontractor took 2 weeks to get it. I was furious and Danny promised to return $500 due to my troubles. FPL Stress Free promised a A+ contractor and he personally is less than a D-. They have been once to clean the system and that was because I complained to FPL. The house is hot in spots and cold in other even with a "engineer" and I have no filters for it either. Of course it requires a special filter! Total scam from this company!! He's not FPL Stress Free approved. He's a scammer!

From start to finish this has been a great experience. I received many quotes, but this was the best deal. Then the quality of the install was amazing. Even after I got the new unit any questions or problems are always handle quickly and professionally. Highly recommend!

Let me say this company was recommended by a friend and we couldn't be happier. The installers who came were absolutely professional, polite, and absolute hard workers. They were on time and got the job done quick and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a AC installed, serviced, or repaired. I will never use another company at all. This company promised to do a total redo of my air conditioning system and did a very poor job. They did not install the proper duct work or the proper air conditioning system in my home. Their own service man told me that I had the wrong duct work in part of my home when I ask why it wasn't cooling two rooms. My initial contract stated that all duct work would be redone correctly. Now they want a additional $4900 to correct their mistakes. My whole system that was put in is a disaster. I have just recently had my air conditioning system checked and I am finding many parts of their units and installation inadequate. I am now 79 years old and believe that I was cheated by Sunshine Heating and Air. I am planning on filing an "ELDER ABUSE" claim with the Florida Attorney General's office and the Department of Elder Affairs.

This company is trustworthy, professional and will do the job right without trying to take money from you. I worked with Danny Obannon who conducted an evaluation on my air conditioner who was installed by another company that i continued to have problems with. Danny gave me an unbiased honest opinion about what should have been done and how to go about getting it corrected. Unfortunately, this industry is filled with contractors and people who just want to do the bare minimum, take your money and move onto the next job. Danny and Sunshine Air are not one of these companies. He was recommended to me from a neighbor who had his AC installed by him. My only regret is not using Sunshine Air to install my ac also. I highly recommend him.
