We have always appreciated the attention with which Sunshine Heating and Air cared for our HVAC system, but yesterday they went above and beyond. Anthony spent hours trying to find the source of our leak. He was determined to get to the source and was persistent and imaginative in his detective work. In addition to being knowledgeable, Anthony was a pleasure to work with and talk to. A big thank you to the whole Sunshine team.

I used Sunshine for AC maintenance over the course of several years as well as to install a new hvac unit in our home before we sold it. Service was always prompt and professional, and I have recommended them to several clients as well. We have since moved to South Carolina and are no longer customers of Sunshine but I called today to ask for an unbiased professional opinion on quotes and recommendations we received for our new home (AC install and duct work). Brenda was very generous with her time and went out of her way to help me make an informed decision. Sunshine has definitely earned my trust over the years!

we got the whole works. new unit inside and out, new duct work, new attic insulation and moved vents for better air flow. they are so nice to work with we were having other construction work done at the same time and we were able to coordinate perfectly. all the staff everyone that came and worked on the unit was/is amazing. absolutely no problems or issues. one of the best purchases we have made

Updated: We have had Sunshine Heating and Air install as well as maintain our heating and air system going on seven years now. Brendas in the office is amazing and always calls to remind us when we need to schedule our maintenance. I think the twice a year maintenance plan is worth the money and peace of mind. Sunshine has always been prompt and has done an amazing job. Even through Covid. I would recommend them. They service Wedgefield and surrounding area.

I just had Ted out from Sunshine Heating and Air for maintenance and service. Ted did a thorough job on the maintenance and add freon as our unit kept freezing up. He fixed several issues and gave our unit a clean bill of health. I was so impressed I signed up for their annual maintenance agreement and will ask for him again. Thanks for doing a great job. You were knowledgeable and professional. That is one good employee!

Follow up 2020: I highly recommend this company. We ended up replacing our system. As the evaporator coil sprung a leak. It was a older unit. So we opted to replace instead of trying to put a bandaid on it. They did a great job. They moved our unit from the garage floor to overhead to free up space. It has been working perfectly. Brenda and Ted are the best!! Thank you for your follow up and professionalism.

Pleasure to work with when installing my A/C system. I have worked with several other companies in the past, and Sunshine was by far the most thorough in inspecting the current system, and honest in recommending me options at a realistic price point. I spoke with Brenda at Sunshine Heating and Air yesterday to schedule a service call which she quickly did for today between 9:00am and 11:00am.
I was contacted via text at 9:00am this morning telling me that the technician was on his way.
Donovan Arrived shortly after that to perform a maintenance service call, he explained what he was going to do and answered all my questions.
All in all, great company to work with, professional, on time and a really good value that I went ahead and signed up for their preventative maintenance program which includes 2 regular calls in a year and if required in between for any issues, the trip charge would be waved.
They came highly recommended by one of my neighbors.
I give them 5 stars and would give them more if I could

Today, I had a very honest, knowledgeable and professional AC technician named Dustin who represented this company exceptionally well. This is the first time using their service and will definitely continue to do so. Dustin also pointed out that the float switch that was said to be broken by a previous company was indeed in perfect working condition. That company tried to rip me off by charging me close to $300.00 for a new one when compared to the $174.00 price sold by Sunshine Heating and Air Conditioning. Thank God, I didn’t listen to that company’s technician and saved the part they removed. Make this company your first choice for servicing your AC unit.

We purchased an air conditioning unit and it works great , we have had it for a few years now and we have had zero problems . What really makes Sunshine Air stand out is their customer service ! from installation to the routine maintenance they are professional , knowledgeable and friendly .
We highly recommend them .

I have had a service contract with Sunshine Heating and Air now for 4 years. Over these 4 years, there have been 3 different gentlemen come to my home twice per year for the service. Everyone I have dealt with has been super friendly and their technicians always take the time to show me any concerns they have found. Today I was told that it's time for a new unit...and they showed me the corrosion of the current unit. With such high costs of units these days, I will be getting several quotes, but hope Sunshine's quote is competitive as I have been very happy with their service over the years and look forward to retaining their services.

I believe this company is a fraud! They installed my new ac unit back in March 2022 without any issues, I even I signed an annual maintenance agreement with them!
which includes twice a year tune up for $129 a year! Didn’t have any issues, Mr. Asher, the head technician always showed up on time and did the required tune up.
I called on August 4 2025 for my second tune up of the year, which I paid for $129 in advance, there are no answer or call back!
I am in the process of contacting my attorney for that scam.
Don’t hire this company for your HVAC needs!

Something is wrong with this company. I asked them to come out in January to look at my air conditioning. They responded quickly to that request, came out, said the air conditioning needed work, that my electric bill was way too high, and asked that I get a power evaluation from my power company and send them the results together with all my power bills for the past year. I scheduled and received the power evaluation within days and sent it to Sunshine. No response. I called a week later and spoke with the same technician. He said he would forward my information on to someone else in the office and they would call me. No response. I waited a week and called again but the "mailbox was full" and I couldn't leave a message, so I emailed them again. No response. I waited another week, called again and spoke with the same technician (he seems to be the only one answering the phone). Again he said he would pass my information along and promised me a call back. No response. I have no idea why they wouldn't want my business. I need immediate work on my AC ducting, and will be replacing my second AC here soon. All I want is a company I can trust to do the work. I'm a great customer, am willing to pay for great service, pay immediately, pass along referrals, etc. Something is wrong here. I have listened to the owner on the radio many times and he comes across as a trustworthy person so that's why I have pursued it this far. Maybe the problem is with the technician? In a last ditch effort I thought I would call one last time today. The same technician answered the phone "hello." I asked if they were still in business. He said they were moving. I asked him why he has never responded to my calls and email? He said he would have someone call me right away. So far I have heard nothing and don't think I ever will. If a company has a problem even engaging with a new customer, how will they perform on the job?

I did a lot of research and shopping around. This company had the best price and they did a great job. I would highly recommend them.
