Honesty and integrity seem to be in short supply these days but Chris posses both. He’s gained my trust. He went out of his way to provide me a diagnosis and knew right away what needs to be done. Very grateful to have found him/his company.

Chris came out to our home at 10:30pm and finished services around 11:00. Highly professional, not only did he fix our issues in a matter of minutes but he made sure to check other surrounding concerns and didnt leave until he was satisfied with his work and us having cold air blowing.
It was a pleasure meeting him and doing business with him. One of the most genuine and kind people in the service industry Ive come across.
With his services he was able to invoice us since it was late at night and we will receive a year of maintenance and check ups along side the service he gave us tonight. More than we could of asked for!

I'm not the kind of person who's into writing many reviews, but this company deserves my time and effort for this review.. To be honest, if i could give this company MORE than 5 stars, I would surely give them 10!.. The honesty, knowledge, and quality of service I received by this company literally won me over!.. I called Smart Home Air & Heat at around 10:30 in the morning and left a message to see if they could come by to check a "smart" thermostat on a rental property I own due to concerns I received from the tenant indicating it was not working right.. Just around 5 minutes after calling, I received a call from Chris, who was professional and diligent enough to take the time to call me back so promptly, even though he was installing a complete A/C unit at a home at that moment. I explained the situation to him, and he told me he could come over in the afternoon after finishing the A/C unit installation. When he arrived, he completely checked the whole A/C unit and thermostat and informed me that the unit and the thermostat were perfectly fine and was working well. The thing I most liked about Chris was his honesty, his knowledge and the fact that he was very professional and kind enough to explain with details to me AND TO THE TENANT, how the A/C system worked and giving suggestions to run the unit more efficiently.. After he finished the job, he literally refused to charge me for the services saying he really didn't do anything.. This to me was an A+ ! .. You don't see service like this too much anymore! .. This company and Chris will be the company I call from now on for all my A/C concerns or problems.. Give them a call! You WON'T regret it, honestly!!

Chris was absolutely incredible! I've never met a technician do their work with such passion and care. Our AC stopped working late at night during a rainstorm, and he came out at 10pm to diagnose and fix the problem. He quickly found that the capacitor needed replacing, explained everything clearly, and had our system running again in no time. Despite the late hour and terrible weather, he was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure our family was comfortable that night.
The service was fast and great. We’re so grateful for Chris’s dedication and highly recomend to anyone needing reliable HVAC service. He truly is amazing and goes above and beyond.

I am straight up flabbergasted how nice and personable Chris was. My ac unit was not cooling us and I'll be honest it's old. He was able to diagnose the issue, provide a quick fix for tonight, and gave us our options going forward. I know he told me he understands if we get our new unit from someone else but I'm convinced that its worth using his services going forward. If you are hunting around for a company to help you with your ac issues trust me this company cares about the folks they are helping.

Chris is a absolutely gem. If you are looking for someone with knowledge and very reasonably priced he is the man I will never go to another company, just because of the way he treated myself and my family. He gave us so much info over the phone that he easily solved my problem and the fact that it was after hours and on a Friday you can tell he was exhausted from a long day at work and still was courteous to give of a call. He was all the way out east Orlando and my sister lives West Orlando and still provided my family with all the info we needed Chris you are a blessing my brother keep striving you are great at what you do thanks for everything we will be definitely be using you for all our AC needs in the near future.

The Reviews you see for smart home are absolutly true. Chris came out to my home at 1:30am and replaced my capicator, had me cooling in 15 min. He didnt charge any after hour fees and was at my door in 50 min. I highly reccomend

Great guy, amazing service, knowledgeable, came out at 12am (called at 9pm), and reasonably priced. I don't think we will be calling another company ever again, we had a baby shower planned and we may not have had AC if it was not for this company. This company truly deserves this 5-star review. It was time for a new air system. Ours was 13 years old and not really cooling. My wife wanted to start our transition to a smart home. She thinks that everything in the future will be run by AI and all the technology. We had 3 quotes and even though they were a little more expensive we decided to go with smart home. The owner Chris came over for his evaluation. Very professional and sincere. He did Listen to our needs and gave us a couple options. The install was perfect. No issues. He spent time to make sure we understood the system and how to use it. We love it Chris and thank you. You’re a man of your word and now I’m a customer for life. Brenda says Hi btw. I went on Nextdoor and since I just recently moved to Orlando, asked for recommendations on a/c companies that were honest and reliable and out of 25 responses I had 8 of them were for Smart Hone Air and Heat and boy they were right! I had three quotes and they came up with the best one. Not just the best quote but the presentation that. I received from Chris was superb! He took me step by step in what was going to happen and what he was going to do and the next day, in 6 hours I had a brand new unit installed and running like a champ! Thank you Chris for a job well done!

Bought the unit last year at a great price and it has been great. As a Canadian I have a high expectation of after sales customer service and I have to say Chris and Smart Home Air & Heat has surpassed that expectation. Asked if owed anything and he said no and was not expecting this. In my opinion, he did more than the warranty would have covered

There's so many great things to say about this company and it's staff. Chris is a person of integrity and his staff worked very hard to make sure our new AC was installed and working before they left. I have never had a company that made their customer a priority and kept their word. They were so kind and made sure we were happy with their work.

I would hire this company again. If I could I would give them 10 gold stars we are so glad we chose them. They gave us the best price and offered much more than the other companies.

Chris and the team were very efficient, timely, and considerate. Chris would show up at any given notice to make sure our family was comfortable. He even let us use portable units for the few months we had no air, extremely kind and personable. Always explains everything in detail while trying his best to accommodate us. Smart home air and heat is the ultimate one stop shop. Chris and his team are so helpful and informative. They made sure I knew everything about what was going on with my service, they made sure I had the best deal, and they made sure it was done fast! They provided me with a video on exactly what was going on with my unit showing me where the issues were. I appreciate this so much because sometimes I don’t understand all the technical words. I felt truly heard and empathized with when I was struggling with my AC unit. I recommend them to anyone and they have found a forever customer with me.

First I need to start this off by saying I never heard or experienced a company that came out and serviced our home at 1:30am. Me and my family came home from an exhausting trip to find our home feeling like a red hot furnace. There was no way we could sleep there and we were not prepared to go to a hotel so we call Smart Home and the owner actually answered and came out within 30 minutes. His name was Chris by the way. He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. More importantly he fixed the problem and let me say I was scared or worried about the cost however beyond fair. Now I am honestly not the kind of guy that leaves reviews but I felt compelled to do so with Smart Home. I actually took the time to read the other reviews left for Smart Home and I have to say that they are very accurate!! I would highly recommend that if anyone has an issue to call them!! Hands the best HVAC company in Orlando.

The Smart Home team doesn’t let us down again! Shout out to the whole team over at Smart Home Air and Heat. Came out for a tune up. They used a weed eater around my outside unit and took the top off. They vacuumed the leaves out the inside. They gave me a video and written report of how the unit is doing. Possibly the first time I haven’t been hit up to buy something. They told me unit is running fine and no recommendations to do anything. How honest is that!!! Honesty is hard to come by these days but Chris and the team at Smart Home are 1 company that you can count on. I highly recommend them.

Update 12/26/25
Smart Home came thru again. My wife called Chris @ 11:30pm for our system not working. Chris arrived just after midnight and found it to be a clogged drain line. He cleaned it out and actually serviced the unit. He left approximately 2:00am. Thank you Chris and Smart Home, another job well done. If you’re reading this to figure out if you should use them. Your already thinking to long, they are awesome!!
