Howard is very friendly and works very hard to resolve a problem. I had to have a hot water heater replaced on New Year's Eve. He came and spent his evening here putting it in. There was a problem with it this morning, he came back, called the company and resolved the problem. I would definitely trust him with any plumbing problems I have in the future.

We hired Mac 5 back in January 2024 to do a total repipe of our IHB house that was built back in the 60's. The 2 guys that came out did an amazing job, from being personable, protecting my floors to the actual repipe job itself. Obviously, if you live in an older beachside house, we have very little attic space. These guys made a few cuts in my ceiling and fed the line through not to disrupt the insulation above and not making a mess. Very impressive. Well done guys! Job took about 2 days.

Now, I did pay for their drywall service. This took a little longer than anticipated. We were a little frustrated since we wanted get back to normalcy, but at the end of the day they made it right. Thank you. Mac 5 did the right thing. Chris that came out to finish the drywall did a great job. Thank you.

Employee Torin Glover of Mac 5 replaced our Shower Valve Cartridge when our water wouldn't turn off yesterday. Mac 5 sent Torin to our home for emergency service. Mac 5 kept us apprised as when Torin was on his way. As did Torin. He was courteous, pleasant and thorough. He did not try to upsell any additional services. We recommend Mac 5 for plumbing and will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Update: they sent a dry wall guy out the first time and he designed texture like an artist. Unfortunately it didn't go. However, within a week they sent Mike out who absolutely took the right approach and I am a happy customer! Thanks for making it right MAC5.

Great service and knowledgeable tech spent several days and hours to do it right the first time .. well technically the second it was a call back but he definitely took his time to install the flange and fix the leak. Didn't caulk around toilet and the floor was covered with broken pieces of wood or it would have been 5/5. Solid 4.5

Beware of Price Gouging and Upselling Tactics

I had MAC-5 come out to fix (give me a quote for) one toilet — that’s all I requested. Instead, the technician immediately tried to sell me three or four “options” ranging from $1,000 to $2,300, including rebuilding two toilets even though I only needed one looked at.

They kept pushing unrelated questions about my AC unit and electrical system, both during the initial call and again during the visit, even after I told them multiple times that this was not within scope. Additionally they just called me unsolicited to ask about coming out next week to maintain my AC Unit!

When I asked about the actual part that needed replacement — which I already knew was a $15–$20 part on Amazon — the technician gave me a smug smile and avoided answering. The cheapest option they gave me to “rebuild” one toilet was about $1,000, which is outrageous for a job that would take an hour or two at most.

To make things even more absurd, I asked how much it would cost to just replace the entire toilet — and that quote came out to $600, significantly cheaper than their repair options. Why this wasn’t offered upfront is beyond me.

This company clearly banks on customers not knowing better and tries to upsell unnecessary work at inflated prices. I strongly do not recommend MAC-5 unless you want to be overcharged for basic plumbing.

Kenny, Ivan and Kallel were amazing! These guys were knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. I will be requesting them for every plumbing and electrical job. Kallel installed a hybrid water heater for me, and Kenny and Ivan did electrical work around my home. Request these guys!

Mike did a great job diagnosing the problem when my A/C went out. He came out the same day and did a thorough job taking pictures and explaining what he found. He was able to fix it for us quickly and gave us a lot of information for the future. I’ve used this company twice and had good experiences so far.

Mac 5 was very quick to provide us a quote for a water heater and upgrading the circuit for it. Anthony was back the next day to complete the circuit upgrade and did a great job.

Update: after the circuit upgrade we had Mac 5 install a water heater for us. They were very accommodating with our schedule. Howard did an excellent job with the installation and was very friendly.

The only reason I give this company two stars in because they where prompt, nice and did do the job. My issue is price gouging. $20 retail worth of parts and a job that I, not being a plumber, could do in less than 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I was not in town. The bill was $524. look at the pics and decide for yourself. I have owned businesses and know there is overhead, but come on. The pics are before and after. Nothing wrong with the work, just the fairness of the price.

My MAC 5 team of two tackled a very difficult clogged grease drain in a restaurant setting. This was not an easy job. I particularly liked their persistent to do it right. And they did. Would recommend!

The best
service I have gotten in a long time, Chris came in, took his time checking the system to make sure is operating as it should then recommended the service based on his findings, I could not be more happy with the results, clean install and talk through everything without holding information out.

Anthony demonstrated professionalism and punctuality in providing a quote for the project. Despite not utilizing their services due to price, he maintained respect for my property. I was satisfied with the team’s communication and professionalism.

We had a solar water heater that gave out during a big freeze here in the Kissimmee area. Jordan explained that it was important to flush your water heater twice a year, which we didn’t know beforehand since we flushed it once years back. He explained that sediment buildup decreases the expectancy of a water heater and the freeze made it worse. He gave us a few options at different price ranges. We went with a bradford water heater and he and his manager even helped us out on the price since we were going through a financial pinch. Overall happy to have had Jordan come down from palm bay to help us out.

This young man, Torin Glover, was the most pleasant, professional, polite gentleman I've had the pleasure of working with in a long time.
He explained everything he had to do, took his time doing it, and was easy to talk to. You have a true people person in your employe who knows what he is doing. He is definitely a KEEPER.

They are getting 2 stars because they a have continued to contact me - texting and calling often for months, even though I've explicitly requested to be on a do not contact list. I have a text from them saying I'm now on their do not contact list, but yesterday I got another call from them.

Would have normally given a good review because they unclogged a toilet a few years ago for me and did a good job.

The services provided was outstanding! He was very patient when listening to my concerns and answered all my questions. The work and cleanup was great!

I needed emergency electrical service on a Saturday, and the service provided by MAC 5 was outstanding. The technician was extremely helpful, diagnosed the issue accurately, and clearly explained what was going on. He even assisted in communicating the problem to my power company and stayed involved until the power was fully restored. Exceptional service from start to finish!

The tech from Mac 5 Services Chris who inspected our ac unit was very knowledgable in explaining what needs to be done. He showed each part of the ac which are in need of replacing. He also made sure that we knew how our ac is performing and why it is acting up.

Ivan is a very pleasant person and customer-oriented. He goes out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. Please thank him for a job well-done. He is also an asset to your organization.
