We recently purchased a new Pentair Master Temp 400 heater from BM Wemple pools. Our experience with the office personnel, especially Logan Underwood for the purchase process, and John for the installation was outstanding. Installation itself was outstanding and included removal of old heater, replumbing of the water flow PVC lines and electrical rewiring to receive the new unit. in the last three weeks we finally had weather temp drops that supported three heated spa experiences. The unit performed beautify and we thoroughly enjoyed the spa time - mimosas included. I would rate this business experience at 5 stars and will continue to do business with BM Wemple Pools.

Was referred to several companies for my pool upon moving to Florida. Have found BM wemple to be reliable and professional. Find their communication to be timely and what I appreciate is that they will notify you with changes on your pool. Have them performing weekly cleanings and additionally have had them replace our pump and timers. Prompt responsiveness and quality work thus far. Competitive pricing as well.

Atlas built our pool five years ago. We could not be happier with the quality and service we received throughout the entire installation. We use their pool service on a weekly basis. We found the service men professional and reliable. If there is any change in schedules we are promptly notified.
We have recommended Atlas to many people.

As other reviewers have mentioned this company is beyond unacceptable and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They do not perform quality work, don't adhere to any timeline, have no accountability or management structure to report problems to, are totally unresponsive to issues no matter who you talk to, and have NO regard for their customers. Our pool now requires numerous repairs to fix things they charged for but never did or things they did so poorly (literally months after the fact after dozens of calls to numerous people). We are very close to filling a complaint with the BBB because their business practices are completely unacceptable. In fact, they have a dozen other complaints already against them for similar problems. Save your money and stress, look elsewhere!

Thanks to B M Wemple Pools we finally have a crystal clear pool!!! We had a bad algae problem, and after reading some pool companies reviews, we decided to go with B M Wemple Pools. We couldn’t be happier! The first month they came out multiple times until they were totally sure the algae wasn’t coming back. Now we are enjoying our beautiful pool without worrying about cleaning, brushing, testing the water and adding chemicals all the time. They make sure my pool stays clean and inviting . I highly recommend them to anyone looking for good & reliable pool service.

Signed contract 4/22 still no completed pool. I have a concrete hole we’re my pool should be. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They take my money right away but won’t complete the job

Atlas built our pool 12 years ago and did a wonderful job. BM Wemple has performed the weekly service for 12 years and has also done a wonderful job and the pool is always crystal clear and clean. Whenever there have been missteps, the office has fixed it quickly. The only issue is my beach entry finish chipped and cracked more than 2 years ago (long before Covid) and I can't get them to send someone out to fix it (I'm paying for it--not a warranty issue). I need someone to send out the finish sub-K to fix the beach entry. Other than that, amazing service for 12 years.

As a small business owner I never write bad reviews because I know how important reviews are to businesses. However my experience has been so awful that I cannot contain myself. We chose Atlas pools because they claim to be a family owned and operated business and wanted to support local Oviedo companies- this was the worse decision ever!
* They lie in order to get the business. They explained a simple resurface would take 2-3 weeks from start to finish. We have been with an empty pool for now 2.5 MONTHS and it’s STILL not complete
* They are not reliable. They claim to never know their schedule for the week until the night prior so you can never plan to be at available for when people come work in your home
* They’re slow. They measured the spillway wrong and installed the wrong tile (which I kept so it wouldn’t delay the process more)

Their employees are nice people but I would NEVER EVER EVER Recommend this company!!

I would like to add that it has been over a year and my project was never fully completed. I had to hire another company to finish the job; meanwhile, BM Wemple is still invoicing me for the incomplete job.

We have been using BM Wemple Pools for 3 years to do weekly cleaning and chemicals as well as the annual service, and have been very happy with their service and their communication when they need to change their schedule. We recently had a heater that wasn’t working properly and they were very quick to come out and repair it and when another part was needed they were back within a week with the part. Highly recommend them!

We hired BM Wemple for weekly pool service after Atlas completed our pool. Unfortunately, week after week the pool guy would spend a few minutes checking chemicals and then leave. He didn’t brush or vacuum the pool even after we requested he do so. He didn’t clean the filter and sometimes not even the skimmer. We literally paid $160 for weekly chemical checks. We brought this up repeatedly to management and they never returned our calls or emails. I’m still waiting for a response to my latest phone call and email about getting a refund for services NOT performed. I have photos and securit video proof of this. After the awful experience with Atlas, we should have known better.

We have since moved to a new pool company (who charges $40 less/month!) and they are awesome. They have an app and send pictures/recap of each weekly service. Don’t waste your money with this company.

This is the most dysfunctional services company I have ever used. The people are nice but their management must be the source for the issues because none of my neighbors have had trouble with their pool cleaners for an extended period of time.

For the past 4 years our pool has been unusable for weeks at a time due to negligence by BM Wemple. The picture attached is an example of what it has looked like every late Spring and early Summer.

We stuck around for so long only because of the warranty provided when they built our beautiful pool under the condition that we have them service our pool.

We finally gave up this year and are much more satisfied with our new pool cleaner.

We were loyal customers for almost two years, but recently something changed. So much so that we canceled our weekly service contract and no longer use them for pool service or repairs.

For approximately 3-4 months, our weekly cleaning service was sporadic at best. Often the cleaning would be rescheduled or canceled due to a shortage of technicians. We were patient with this process as we understand how difficult hiring/maintaining employees can be. At the end of July, a technician arrived at our house to install the pool pump housing that was in need of repair (after a very long wait for it to arrive along with scheduling issues on behalf of the pool company). I don't believe the technician was made aware that we had also requested a deep clean of our pool (listed in their notes) due to travertine being installed. What transpired from this point was frustrating and unprofessional. The technician, who clearly did not want to do the work, slammed our screen door as he entered and exited, cursed and threw the pool brush onto the ground while saying "I give up" (I have this on video as our security camera picked it up). When he was finished "lightly brushing" the pool, he proceeded to tell us that there was nothing more he could do because our skimmer was clogged and told us to call a plumber. After sensing my frustration, he said "I guess I could check your chemical levels", to which I said "yes" and then he dumped a bunch of acid in the pool and told us to brush it ourselves and maybe it would eventually clear up.

We also asked him to reinstall our pool leveler (which we purchased from BM Wemple) and he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't get his hand inside the leveler to reinstall/fix it, therefore we should just purchase a new one as it wasn't worth his time or the amount he would need to charge to fix it. It almost seemed as if he didn't know how it worked.

We have since found a more reliable pool cleaning/repair company. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I would avoid hiring B M Wemple/Atlas pools for any of your pool maintenance needs.

We had a pool put in last year and BM Wemple maintains the pool, they do a great job and come every week like clock work.
Any issues that I have they take care of quickly.

I've been a loyal customer of B.M. Wemple Pools for 13 years. From the beginning as we tried to design the best pool for our medically complex son, the design team worked with us to come up with the best plan to meet his needs. We've been very happy with our pool and had a great experience for many years with the pool cleaning team. Unfortunately, over the past couple of months something has changed. We had damage to our screened patio door after a cleaning visit, and I called immediately to report the incident. I was told someone would call me back. I didn't get a call and followed up a few days later. Again, I was told I would get a call from a supervisor. A call was not received. I called again and was asked if I had video of the incident. I don't, but my wife was home when it happened. Again, no answers from the staff. I'm very disappointed that this would happen after such a great relationship with this business. I hope things can improve to the caliber of what we've enjoyed for such a long time.

I contracted B M Wemple owner of Atlas Pools one of three pools companies under the same license and ownership in August of 2022 to install an inground pool. Since March of 2023 I have tried to communicate with Atlas Pools to complete the insulation of my pools and finalize all permits on my property. I am told by the atlas employees they can not get their subcontractors who installed the pool to return to the property to complete my insulation. Their exact text is I can't control my subs I can only submit a request for them to come back. They front load their contracts and collect 98% of the contract. They try to make your pool usable so you can't say they haven't completed the job. My pool is not usable due to safety issues with the main drains covers not being installed, missing and broken glass tile. I have been given dates on multiple occasion of when sub contractors are scheduled and the sub contractors either show up unprepared or don't show at all. In the contract I was charge for warranties which they will not be able to honor. I do not recommend using Atlas pools at all. Try to find a pool contractor who does not sub contract the work and does 100% of the work in house. I have tried to get things done through phone calls and text, I went to the BBB, Licensing board, and the office of consumer affairs and still no movement or correspondence from the company. The only recourse you have is to just not contract them to do work and this is why I am writing this review. Please due your do diligence when signing a contract with them and with hold 50% till the pool is 100% complete. I wish I would have done that then maybe they would be motivated to complete the service they were contracted to do.

I don't usually like to write bad reviews, but I tried to get some issues fixed on my newly built pool, but it's like pulling teeth. Finally got it done, but only after my persistence with multiple calls and texts to the service center since February. It is June... Now, I called over 2 weeks ago to find out if the final inspection was done, received an automated email they would get back to me. Well, you know the story... Once they have your money and your pool is not sinking, they don't care.

I wanted to update this review and let everyone know that BM Wemple aka Atlas Pools still have not fixed our leak or sent anyone out to look at our leak. This has been going since August 2023 and it is now January 2024. Not very good business...

Absolutely horrible service! I want to give them a 0. My pool is so green. They skip weekly cleanings and I pay them. Always different people coming to clean the pool. They have ignored my calls to call me back. All summer my pool has been green. They never clean the filter. They also don’t scrub the walls. Absolutely horrible!!! Stay away!!

After a major storm fried my automated pool control board, I reached out to several companies for quotes—and BM Wemple Pools easily stood out. They offered the best equipment for the price, hands down. The technician arrived promptly and had the new system installed within an hour. He was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and friendly—an absolute pro.

What really blew me away, though, was that during the visit, he noticed an issue with one of my automated pool handles—something that had been driving me nuts for years. Not only did he immediately know what was wrong, but he also fixed it on the spot, completely free of charge.

I'm thrilled with my new control system and all the features that came with it. The service I received was top-notch from start to finish. No question—Wemple Pools has earned a customer for life. I won’t call anyone else for pool repairs again!
