What an unbelievable experience. My husband and I are new to Florida and went there to buy some plants. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We spent roughly two hours there and the owner, Susan even showed us her personal garden and took us on a tour of her huge property. She has a real passion for what she does and we’ve booked a consultation with her. Amazing experience and we are customers for life!

We recently lost our beloved dog, Boscoe, and I wanted to plant a tree in his memory. I wasn’t sure how to go about it, but Susan, the owner of Palm City Palms, was incredibly kind and compassionate. She drove me through the entire property to help find the perfect tree to honor our sweet boy. I thought it might be a strange request, but she assured me that many people do the same—and that comforted me more than she knows.

Susan and her team educated me on different shade trees and helped me choose the beautiful Shady Lady. She even took the time to drive me through the property and show me one that had been planted three years ago, so I could see what it would grow into over time.

We’ve used Palm City Palms in the past, and I was so touched that they remembered me and all the details of our property. Her team carefully loaded the (very large!) tree into my truck, and Susan even provided a stake and strap to ensure it would grow straight and strong.

Best overall pricing and service. I needed mulch around our lanai in Valencia Parc. I also needed trees to block the view of our Spa in the lanai. I was going to get Calusia bushes but they recommended another tree like a pine tree that thrives in Florida. They gave me an estimate and when they did the job it was actually less than the estimate. Very friendly staff. I will always use them for any landscaping in the future.

We heard good things and were optimistic about Susan visiting our home to create a plan that we paid for in advance. Unfortunately, she did not incorporate the 4 components we requested, instead made recommendations that were not going to accomplish our goals, and added items that we specifically said we did not require. They were going to charge double for an area that was going to ripped up anyway and then replaced. This was especially disappointing since we have had only positive experiences with all the other subcontractors and vendors who have helped us with our new home. As a result, we have taken a different direction for our landscaping.

We recently visited Palm City Palms in search of a specific type of palm tree. After speaking with their knowledgeable staff, they explained that the palm we originally wanted wouldn't be the best fit for Florida's climate and recommended a better option that would thrive here. Their expertise and friendly guidance made the experience wonderful.

We ended up purchasing the recommended tree that same day and scheduled installation for the following week. The planting crew was fantastic! They arrived on time, had the tree perfectly planted in less than an hour, and paid incredible attention to detail to ensure it was centered just right in the space we wanted.

We could not be more pleased. We met with Brooke several times. She was very helpful and listened to understand exactly what we were hoping to achieve. The nursery has an amazing variety of plants to choose from. Susan came to the house and made great suggestions and drew up a beautiful proposal needed for our HOA. The staff were fantastic during installation. I wanted to make a few changes and they too listened and made sure we were happy. Brooke came out on day two and brought a few extra plants too. They completed the project and she was spot on. We love the outcome!!! It’s not only beautiful, it gives us the needed privacy we were lacking. We now have beautiful plants and trees to look at through our windows!! 😍

This company is a rare gem! I have used Southern Coastal for over a year now and I cannot recommend them enough. They have incredible customer service and do an amazing job with lawn upkeep each week. Not only do they do a remarkable job with the lawn, the owner & staff are also very kind & honest. We recently had the owner contact us about a mistake that one of the staff members made, which could have gone unnoticed. The owner made it right without question. The fact that the staff was comfortable enough to contact the owner to let him know about a mistake says a lot about how this company is run. I recommend Southern Coastal wholeheartedly!
