Unprofessional employees who openly endorse risking people’s lives on social media just because they don’t agree with them.

John and his crew are exactly as the name states they go the extra mile with every service there are issues these guys solve them in a professional and timely manner great job!!

No one answers the phone for over a week -- and voicemail is full. They are doing an install next door and we are trying to coordinate with them. But, hard to do that when no one responds.

I too am stuck with Above & Beyond Landscaping because of my H.O.A. Every time they hedge my bushes, they break something. I often catch them in the act. They recently broke a part off of my air conditioner unit while hedging. Eagle Lake H.O.A does not help me. Signature Property Management does not help. Anyone thinking of hiring Above & Beyond should take note, they have a terrible rating for a reason.

Terrible lawn service! They ruined my fence 2 times in 3 years. Leave mud on the concrete, damage house and weeds are out of control. John does not act responsibly and plays games. He is part of my HOA, so I am unable to fire him. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Horrible service. They thought it was a brilliant idea to use a riding lawnmower around our extremely moist yard and destroyed it after days of heavy rain. We live in palm city, where it gets extremely wet. There’s horrible tire marks and circles all over our back and front lawn. Along with mud everywhere all over our driveway. The wet road was covered in grass and mud. What kind of person sees their ruining a lawn but continues to do it? Other companies would stop or even know prior to use different machines to prevent destroying a lawn that’s moist after days of heavy rain. It’s embarrassing to have our home look this way. Educate them ( the workers) on how to do their jobs correctly. Training is always a good thing.
Update:
They went on my property and took after pictures, which were 6 weeks after the pictures I posted. You can still see the marks in the grass... It does look better, yes for sure, after a month of rain and regrowth. We also did a weed and seed treatment on our grass... But, you can still see them; the marks that is. Yes, it does look better; but it took multiple occurrences for me to finally post my review after the muddy mess happened over and over. It wasn’t after one time of making our lawns look that way. It was after 3 cuts; palm city is super wet...all of the time. Just take that into account when working with homes in this area. Grass looks okay now, hope it continues to get better.

Listen some of these workers are unprofessional for sure. They continuously drive through our driveway making tore marks from the lawn mower. The owner John simply does not care at all. The excuses have been that the workers are not the same and so my question to them is “ don’t your on hand leads which are the supervisors tell the employees NOT TO DRIVE OVER PEOPLES PERSONAL DRIVEWAYS”. We have had pavers replaced and not all that needed to be replaced were replaced. This company has acted as if it is our fault or responsibility to fix the pavers that there workers have damaged. It’s ridiculous. GET IT TOGETHER JOHN PLEASE , BECAUSE I AM TIRED OF TELLING YOUR EMPLOYEES TO STOP DRIVING YOUR LAWN MOWERS ON OUR PROPERTY.

They trimmed my hedges and in the process they broke two sprinklers. I’ve left them two messages so far this week with no response. This is not a standup company. It seems that their workers look to rush through the job without care for your property. Stand up and fix your mistakes Above and Beyond!!!! Update, the owner called me today, he told
Me he was out of town and had spotty call service. More importantly, he sent someone over to fix the problem stated above. Good job Above and Beyond. That’s how a company is supposed to take care. Thanks.

I live in a community of 700 homes and Above and Beyond has been our landscaper for over a year. The crews do a great job both mowing and trimming of all bushes, hedges and trees. John the owner is a hands on owner and has fulfilled our communities needs completely. Both crews are professional and consistent week in and week out. Being the chairman of the landscape committee I can say we are completely satisfied.

If you love having NIGHTMARES then this is the company for you. The boss John, is never around and his employees are speeding through everything and everywhere at the EXPENSE of the HOMEOWNERS. I had my BRAND NEW TRUCK parked on the driveway and one of his employees who was edging, started edging over PEBBLES/ ROCKS "bigger than most rocks" and lo and behold 2 of the rocks ricocheted onto my truck and dented the door on 2 areas. I had the front door open when this happened and heard the loud bangs. I ran out and briefly looked at my truck and the premise and didn't see any broken glass or anything out of the norm and just grass and the rocks on the driveway. I know it was them because of the rocks on the driveway. Besides who mows rocks? This happened Friday the 17th, 2019. I have my truck inside my garage over the weekend and payed no mind to it. On the 22nd I finally noticed the 2 dents on the bottom part of the drivers door. I immediately contacted the HOA and they put me in contact with the owner John the very next day. I explained what happened, he tried to get technical about the way the rocks where etc. He expects you to have surveillance 24 hours a day to make sure that it was his crew or not. Not to mention that I had the door open and heard it when it happened. I told him "I just hope that you do what is right". After a while of going back and forth he agreed to split the cost. I rejected the notion of it as I should not be held accountable for his employees actions - EDGING ROCKS? Next to a vehicle... Come on!!! who does that? I'll submit the pictures of the damages. As of today I haven't heard back from JOHN or any of his employees. Like I said if you LOVE NIGHTMARES, JOHN from ABOVE & BEYOND LANDSCAPING, LLC are the people for you...

Removed and ground stumps on 200 feet of 50-year-old 18 foot tall ficus hedge. Replaced old hedge with 65 clussia plants, 60 inches tall.
Entire project finished in 3 + 1/2 days. Very competitive price. Big project. I’m very happy with the results.

June 2019 - I bid a large landscape project to 3 companies at our new home in Langford Landing, Jensen Beach. We chose Above & Beyond, and worked closely with John, Jim, and Alex. They were great to work with, had great ideas, and had ability to complete this project with manpower, machinery, and had great expertise about what trees/shrubs will live well with our salty, sandy soil. Here is a good before and after photo. We planted 45 trees, clusia shrubs, countless shrubs, flowers, built pergola, arbor, and walkway/firepit. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately my HOA was using this company for several years. Last month was the second time that I had property broken because employees were careless. The first time glass was left all over my backyard were my pets could have gotten hurt from breaking a yard decoration. This time my light was shattered that light up my walk way. The lights cost $160 and I paid an electrician to install them not even a year ago. The owner said send my pictures and I’ll have someone go and access the damage. Needless to say he now won’t respond to me at all. I would have appreciated some responsibility taken. I’m not in a post at this time to spend another $400 for new lights and electrician. I would never use this company and thankfully they are no longer serving my community…….

He took care of a large home on almost an acre in Hobe Sound for several years. Very reliable and excellent work at all times. I was very happy with his work .

Mendoza used to cut my lawn in 2020. Now my neighbor uses them and they have cut my fruit tree twice in my property. A lawn care that cannot tell property will cause trouble if they don’t respect property lines.

I called about a back yard plagued with water retention and front yard that had lots of bushes and shrubs that didn't make a lot of sense together.
He put a plan together for digging out the back yard, cleaning it up and laying new sod. He also created a natural trench/berm that helps channel water away from the back porch (genius!)!
He chose great new plants for the front and removed two problem trees and overgrown bushes to really clean it up. He mulched everything and created two cool rock/stone pathways around the screen porch doors and pool pump/pipes - which is just amazing! He even fixed some sprinkler issues in the process!
I just could not be happier with everything -- AND with working with him and the team he has! They are great - and we will definitely go with Mendoza's for our next projects!!

Hands down the very best. Highly recommend. Zach and his team are A++++. Zach and his team are really good at the timing and work . Best quality work and great people .
