We had a service call today with Bryce Lisman from Blue Bear Total Home Services. Bryce was extremely competent, able to explain technical info about our AC and helpful to us as home owners. Bryce helped us understand how our system works and how to help them maintain our system. This is exactly what we were expecting to get when we had a new AC system put in by Blue Bear. Thank you Bryce for being so good at your job and helpful to us.

What a great experience with David! He was on time, very friendly and gave me an estimate on the project. I decided to move forward with it right there, worked on it and cleaned up after him. Wow! I was impressed on how efficient he was. Wow, 5 star service!

My water heater started leaking over the weekend. I made several calls to other companies who did not provide weekend service. I found Blue Bear on Angi’s list. Blue Bear sent someone out almost immediately and the following day a new water heater was installed by a very professional young man. I am very satisfied!

Logan was awesome. Had a backup and he showed up ready to go and got it done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Blue Bear Total Home Services to everyone.

Great experience! Professional, friendly, quick and knowledgeable. Had a new HVAC condenser replaced (by a different company) and ended up with headaches immediately. Took them a week to get a tech out to figure out why and they had zero suggestions and told me there was mold their installer missed. Called Blue Bear the next day and they sent out a tech same day. He looked it over, checked for gas leaks and has some suggestions we’re trying. Really would recommend this guys and will use them for any major issues and work moving forward.

I called Blue Bear Total Home Svces for a water leak on a Saturday and was given an appointment and a window when to expect a technician.
Owen, the plumber that came out was polite and respectful of his surroundings. He let me know what to expect and kept me informed in all aspects of the repair.

Today I was changing the air filter , noticed a dripping from the vent of the air handler. . This was approximately 3pm . Called Blue Bear for service. Micha arrived approximately 4:39 pm . He trouble shot the situation. Made some leveling adjustments. Dryed out the inside and recommend to leave the fan on to dry out the remaining moisture. Very courteous & professional. Thankyou .

As a new customer, I'm very pleased with Blue Bear's way of doing business. They provide service on the weekends. Alex is the technician who worked on my A/C. He texted his photo, before he arrived for the appointment. He was professional and explained the type of repair that needed to be done, plus took pictures before and after the service was completed.

Had an emergency with a slow pipe leak ruining my wooden floors over time as it went undetected!!!

Hired Blue Bear for an electrical panel replacement. Received several bids, they weren’t the cheapest but they were fair. They also were the only provider to recommend rotating the panel outward (it was facing inside a utility closet) to meet code.

They worked with me to schedule the job and around my renters schedule. When they ran into a hiccup on the job (our master shutoff had to be replaced), Mike reached out and took ownership of the situation.

Mike was patient in answering all of calls and questions. That was sincerely appreciated.

Sarasota is a tough market for home service providers. Lots of providers and lots of noise. These guys stood out for their ability to deliver on their promises at an honest price. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! I had an AC emergency late at night with a home inspection scheduled the very next morning. They came out right away and saved me from what could have been a huge headache. Alex was the first technician to come out, he was so nice, professional, and reassuring during a very stressful situation. The following week, Isaac came to do additional work. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and he actually fixed an issue we’ve been dealing with for six years. Multiple AC professionals have come out over the years, but Isaac was the only one who properly diagnosed and resolved it. Truly impressive! On top of that, Rosy, who I spoke to both times on the phone, was absolutely wonderful...very helpful, kind, and patient. She made scheduling and communication so easy! From start to finish, this company went above and beyond. Reliable, professional, and genuinely caring staff. Highly recommend!

We recently bought a home with an AC unit installed in 2019. Since we weren’t sure when it was last serviced or cleaned, we did some research and chose Blue Bear AC. They’re BBB accredited, which was important to us, and we also noticed their coupon in the Valpak mailer.

Scheduling the inspection and cleaning was quick and easy—no sales pressure or gimmicks. Josh came out to our home and did a thorough job inspecting and cleaning the system. He was knowledgeable, polite, and took the time to explain everything clearly.

Based on our experience today, we plan to continue using Blue Bear AC for future service.

Exceptional Service from Isaac Pena and Alex!

​I had a wonderful experience with Blue Bear Heating and Air. I want to give a huge shout-out to two employees in particular: Isaac Pena and Alex.

​Isaac Pena was absolutely outstanding. He was highly professional and very friendly throughout the service call. I especially appreciated how thorough, nice, and clean his work was; he left the area spotless.

​I also want to make sure Alex gets recognition, as he was great too—an excellent representative for the company.
​It's clear Blue Bear has a strong team.

The service appointment was made for a window of between 11am & 2pm. I received an automated email stating the technician was on his way at 1:44pm. At approximately 4:03pm the technician still had not arrived so I made a call with an ETA. I was informed by the dispatch department that they were showing him as already at my residence I informed them that he wasn't onsite. They did not have his location and I was informed that they are going to try and locate him. Approximately 5 minutes after I ended the call the Technician showed up! I was not very happy with the tardiness of the technician as I had taken half the day off of work to be home for the window he was supposed to show up for. I could have worked and saved 4 hours of vacation time since he did not arrive until a bit after 4pm.
As far as the technician David R. he was apologetic, polite, informative and did a professional installation of my EV outlet and cleaned up after the installation. I am however not impressed with the office not reaching back out to me to inform me of the status of the technicians arrival and the fact I wasted 4 hours of vacation time.
One more gripe I was supposed to get a 10% veterans discount that was offered but it did not apply to the balance.

After the owner Mike had read my review he promptly called me first thing the next morning. Mike was genuinely concerned and apologetic about my experience with Blue Bear and we had a very sincere conversation and he wanted to earn my 5 star review. Mike offered me a hefty discount on the service and he made good on his promise to compensate me for time I took off of work for the install. I will definitely use Blue Bear services in the future. It was nice to see an owner who truly cares about his customers and wants to make it a 5 star experience! Thank you Mike and the Blue Bear team!

I had a wonderful first time experience with blue bear the other day. I’ve had water problems going on in my house for the past year and another issue popped up. They came over a right away. I had a wonderful technician named Tod, Real cool, humble guy great smile. I hope I don’t have any problems in the future but if I do, I would definitely be calling you guys back and if Tod can be the one to come out, that would make it even better. Ever since Tod fixed my faucets and checked the leaks, everything‘s been good. Great work guys
