If you are looking to complete this type of project for your home, do not even bother calling another company. Bob Smith is the absolute best at what they do. From the first phone call I knew I was in good hands. When I had more complex questions, I had a direct line to the president. When I had project related questions, my phone calls and texts were answered immediately. When I had a very unusual (but fixable) problem occur, the team bent over backwards to make sure that it was resolved and I was happy. Bob Smith is 5-star because of their two core competencies - tunneled pipe replacement (they are EXPERTS) and customer service. These two things are the secret sauce to their success and I am so happy I selected them to replace my drain lines and sewer pipe, and have already referred them to two other homeowners. This company is amazing! Every single staff member from owner, office staff and technicians is professional, punctual, knowledgeable , friendly and courteous. They go out of their way to put the customer at ease (we had them tunnel underneath the house to replace old pipes and very really nervous about such a big job). Everything went without any problems and on time. Everyone let me know at every step so I never had to worry. Truly an amazing company. My neighbors and friends also used them for pipe replacement and they also thought they were exceptional.

Bob Smith Plumbing expeditiously came to tunnel and replace our cast iron pipe under the foundation. We weren't experiencing leaks, but were being proactive. It has greatly improved our plumbing drainage - no more water bubbling up in the kitchen sink when doing the laundry and our bathtub drains quickly too. They have a great team, all working together in harmony. I was impressed with the whole process. Great job and great communication!

Three years ago we had a sewage backup problem in our condo association building. We selected Bob’s Plumbing to fix the problem. A team led by Jimmy Villegas safely and with precision tunneled under our building and replaced relined cast iron pipe with PVC piping. We have not had one issue since, problem solved! I believe they are the best in the business.

Bob Smiths plumbing company has the most polite staff I have ever encountered. Not only were they personable, but they cared about not leaving their footprint in my apartment. They did a great job. I would give them a 20/10!!

I called in the morning to schedule an urgent service call regarding a clogged toilet and bathtub drain. The office was able to set up the appointment promptly and Carlos arrived within the allotedtimeframe for the service call. He thoroughly investigated the situation, clearly communicated the next steps and removed the clog. He checked if the drains were now properly draining and also checked all stains and toilets in the house. Carlos was cautious to keep the working area clean, used booties and was very service oriented, polite and friendly. I would highly recommend him again. He also belief my sister with a plumbing issue before and she was very happy with their service.

Carlos was great he diagnosed a very difficult plumbing problem with minimal invasion.
Since the problem was coming from the upstairs bathroom it was not an easy task to know where to cut the hole in the ceiling but they were able to find the precise spot on the first try. Overall I had a first class experience with Bob Smith Plumbing, everyone was very professional the staff was extremely clean wearing shoe covers when coming inside the house and cleaning up meticulously after themselves.

He determined that the cast iron pipes were in good condition and that the repeated blockages were caused by tile debris, not pipe failure. The next day, Carlos followed up with a full re-footage of the line, confirming the same diagnosis.

The work was handled quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. We are very grateful for the professional service provided by the entire team. Communication was outstanding throughout the process, the quotes were accurate, and importantly, they performed only the necessary work—avoiding unnecessary and excessive costs.

Bob Smith handled our large plumbing job from underground leak detection and analysis to repair of two leaks in our PVC pipes under the house. They were friendly, professional and efficient from start to final permit. They always arrived within the stated window and gave advance notice with a photo and bio of the technician or plumber for that day which was much appreciated. It was good to know who I was dealing with and I was impressed with the years of experience and specific knowledge for each employee. I would not hesitate to recommend them especially for such a difficult and extensive job.

I’m what is commonly referred to as a “snowbird”. After learning from the local water company that my condo was having excessive water usage, panic set in – because no-one had been staying at the condo for months. A leak detection company found a leak and recommended replacing the main water line using a boring technique due to excessive tree roots in the area.

Finding a company to replace the line from 1300 miles away was daunting and time consuming. Fortunately, my on-line research led me to Bob Smith’s plumbing. What calmed my anxiety immediately was the efficient, caring, and responsive office staff including, Rubi, Kat and Monique, who answered every question I had. They returned all my calls (and there were many) referred me to field Supervisor, Alex Alvarez, when my questions needed to be directed to him, and handled all aspects of the estimate, permit and payment process efficiently. Alex was incredibly responsive, always calling me back in a timely manner, answering my questions and providing direction – further calming my worries.
Finally, the day arrived for work to begin. I flew to Florida to meet Alex and technician, Chris Jiron, on site. Together, they worked the project from start to finish with skill and kindness, handling and resolving issues as they came up (and they always do) taking everything in stride, which was a tremendous further relief.
Now that a new water line has been successfully installed and I’ve had a few days back home, the gratitude and respect I have for the staff at Bob Smith’s Plumbing is profound. If you are ever in need of plumbing service, do yourself a favor and call them.
