TRM is an amazing construction company. They not only care about their customers, but they also care about the community surrounding them. Many problems have appeared after 3 years, walls cracking, light fixture rusting, driveway defacing, poor quality appliances, the list go on and on.

Horrible builder. I work with a lot of builders in the area and the quality of construction was sloppy, paint touch up colors didn’t match, sloppy grout throughout the entire home, couldn’t open or shut doors because they were installed wrong, weather stripping damaged and the list goes on...no one responded to my multiple requests for these items to be fixed under the 1 year warranty. Still waiting for a response. Sloppy and not good quality at all.

Garbage builders, stay away, been over 10 months and nothing repaired. Contact me if you're interested in going on local news to help future homeowners to avoid the builder and business. I'm in contact with six other homeowners and local NBC and Fox bad buisness solutions. Hit me up.

We purchased our new home back in June 2020. We have a 2/10 warrenty through the builder. Well that being said we have been calling, emailing, and texting for the past 5 months this company does not respond nor do they care about there shoddy work. We have walls cracking, floors cracking, and a list of other issues and no one will return calls or emails and when they sent someone to look at the problems it was deemed "setteling" I have sent emails to the owners left endless voice mails my husband also has been trying and no one gets back to us. This is very unfortunate because they are a local mom and pop company who obviously has no pride or integrity. The level of unprofessionalism is off the charts . I cant believe that companies can still operate this way in 2020 ! I would deff not reccomend using this company if you actually are looking for a professional builder who cares about there work. Go elsewhere, they don't care about the work they do and they don't honor there warrenty and there virtually no one to get in touch with at this company that cares enough to call or email back. Terribly unprofessional!

2024 update my home is now 4 years old, has been cracking throughout floor tiles and around all doors since we were here at the around a year. We purchaced a new build to avoid issues. Jokes on us....We have an attorney and they have found many similar stories to hoke owners like us who purchased new build houses that are structurally unsound. We have had to wait and have them do private investigation of company . They also never returned attorney calls and by law they breached our contract which was a 2 / 10 legally standard for new homes in florida .....and for licensed contractors to honor which they do not. Hopefully this will be be behind us. Eventually, we want everything we are owed per our contract.

JC & Sons built our custom home a little over 3 years ago. We met with many contractors before making a decision. They were so easy to work with and helped us through the building process, step by step.
I was on site most days and the care that went into building our home was evident. They take pride in their work. Helped us make decisions on everything from floor tile to where to cut cost. We contacted them by phone, email and texting. Always available, even on the weekends.
If you have the opportunity to purchase a home built by JC & Sons you will get a quality home at a fair price. A builder that stands behind his work.
So glad we chose them to build our retirement home.

We purchased our home from JC and Sons in 2017 as the first and only owners of a new construction. Unfortunately, this home has been the gift that keeps on giving and not in a good way.

Shortly after moving in, we experienced typical settling cracks, which were only halfway repaired. The microwave was improperly installed and became a fire hazard. When it began getting hot to the touch without even being used, I asked them to come inspect it. Upon removing it, we found burn marks in the cabinet yet they dismissed and gaslighted the issue instead of fixing it properly. Eventually, they did come back and correct the microwave installation.

In that same first year, the exterior paint had to be completely redone due to oxidation and improper application.

Then came the foundation issues. There’s a structural crack, likely due to poor PSI in the concrete. My husband works in paving and asphalt and recognized the signs immediately. JC and Sons eventually came out to replace several cracked tiles, but when the problem continued, it wasn’t until my husband threatened to core drill the slab himself that they took a closer look. This was in 2020. It resulted in the entire house flooring being redone cheaply. Instead of properly fixing the problem, they laid vinyl over their poorly floated tile. The floor is now tenting, and we’ll have to replace it again soon.

We’ve also had ongoing electrical problems that no one can diagnose because of how things were wired. The home didn’t even have a grounding rod something that’s standard and required.

Over time, we noticed certain rooms were extremely hot. When a technician came to install cameras, he suggested we check the insulation. Sure enough, we discovered JC and Sons only installed about 5 inches of insulation throughout the house. Code requires 10 inches, and for efficiency, 13 inches is recommended.

And if that wasn’t enough, our concrete driveway literally has pieces of cardboard embedded in it. They poured and finished the concrete without removing debris, leaving the cardboard permanently stuck within the slab a glaring example of carelessness and lack of quality control.

I love my home because it’s home, but I would never, ever recommend buying from JC and Sons. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.
