Reviews of local pros in Sanibel, Florida

Chris and his team were very responsive and completed the projects in a professional and timely manner.

C & A Construction Group FL is a pleasure to work with. It is a real family affair. The crew is timely and always cleans the job site completely. The quality of workmanship is excellent.

Chris, his family, and crew have saved our house three times after Ian, Helene, and Milton. Chris has spent an enormous amount of time and effort coordinating with the City of Sanibel ensuring that any work he takes on is in FULL COMPLIANCE WITH FEMA AND SANIBEL. Nothing could be worse for a homeowner than to find out that their hurricane rebuild is non-compliant, requiring a tear out and a remedial build to code. Chris doesn't just repair, he builds back better to make a home stronger and more resilient.

C&A Construction was a breath of fresh air compared to many contractors after Ian. Chris and his team and trustworthy, professional and do a great job. They also have an office on the Island and care about the local community.

This is the 2nd time I’ve had Alex paint a house for me. Perfect lines and he even covers neighbors cars to prevent overspray when spraying soffits. Several neighbors have commented how good the paint job is on my 4200 sq ft house. He’s American and extremely reliable with reasonable pricing. He only uses quality paint.

We just returned home after Sanibel Painters painted the interior of our house post-Ian, and WOW, what a fantastic job they did. Everything looks great. Very meticulous with the paint, evenly applied, no drips, furniture moved back into place. This is what professional painting should look like! Highly recommended.

Alex painted our entire house in a few days and it was absolutely perfect. He went above and beyond to make the detailing really stand out, without a single tiny mistake anywhere at all. He was on time, and he even had our house power-washed twice because he wasn’t completely satisfied with the contractor who helped him the first time, so, he re-did it himself. Even though that set him back, he finished when he originally said he would. He updated us constantly and made sure we were happy. Alex is professional, friendly, and kind. You can tell by the results of all his projects that he takes immense pride in his work. It is hard to put into words how seeing my house the way it looks now makes us feel and constantly getting compliments from the neighbors is wonderful. It truly looks like a brand new house. We plan to use him to paint the inside of our home. We have and will continue to recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

Sanibel Painters submitted the best bid for painting the entire interior of our house, approximately 1800 square feet. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining room, sunroom, 2 hallways, living room, kitchen and laundry -- ceilings (repairing cracks), walls (2 coats), baseboards, woodwork, all doors, vents, electrical outlets, and intricate precision on curved corners with multiple color changes. His attention to detail was impressive. He was easy to communicate with throughout the project. And he finished the job exactly as proposed -- less than 5 days -- by himself! One man! Bob and I highly recommend Sanibel Painters for the excellent work ethics and expertise exhibited.

Sanibel Painters did a tremendous job painting the exterior of my home. They delivered everything they promised and kept me informed along the way. I highly recommend this paint company.

One of the best painters I’ve ever met! Not only a hardworking guy you can trust to take care of your house and make brand new, but his work is incredible. He is quick and efficient with his paint jobs being cut, clean and always, done just right. ( whole outside exterior of Captiva house painted by him beautifully! )

I had the opportunity to be on-site with Alex from Sanibel Painters recently, and I was genuinely impressed.

He’s extremely knowledgeable about paint systems, surface prep, and exactly what products he’s using on his clients’ homes. He doesn’t just “paint houses”, he understands the chemistry behind the coatings and why certain materials perform better in coastal environments like Sanibel. That level of knowledge matters.

The home he had just finished looked fantastic. Clean lines, even coverage, and a true professional finish. You could tell it wasn’t rushed, it was done right.

What stood out most, though, was how much his clients clearly trust him. That doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from consistency, communication, and delivering what you promise.

If you’re looking for a professional painter on Sanibel who takes pride in his work and knows his craft, Alex and Sanibel Painters are a solid choice.
