Our 26 year old home had the original front landscaping of hedges and bushes. The hedges were dated and not in good health. The bushes were tall and not pretty. Frank, the owner, gave us a new plan that was colorful and much lower in height. The new landscaping shows off our entrance better and has a better flow of heights and color. There was good collaboration and professional work. Everything was done that was necessary to a good and successful job. Rave reviews from our neighbors.

Met with owner and he talked a good talk but that is where it stopped. Had a full extensive landscape project I had discussed with him. After several missed appointments, attempts to call him I get an email saying he had hired family members that didn't work out. I told him I could wait. Never again heard from him. This company is NOT RELIABLE and had horrendous customer service. Either the job was too overwhelming or he doesn't have the capacity for larger jobs. DO NOT SUGGEST YOU WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY! I find it very difficult to understand why SOME companies like this stay in business and also why a company is not interested in doing business with locals. NOT DEPENDABLE and wasted weeks of my time.

I just had Sarasota do some new landscaping in my front and back yard. They absolutely transformed my yard. It looked so much better than I even anticipated. Frank is very knowledgeable of all the different types of plants and was very helpful with me as to where to place my plants to give the best effect. His prices were very reasonable for the quality of the job that was done. I would more than highly recommend them to any family, friends or anyone looking to have landscaping down.

We have lived in our Sarasota home for 36 years. After raising 3 children, and enjoying the many animals, ponds, gardens, trampolines, fire pits in our yards we decided it was time to start from scratch and completely renovate our entire side and back yard. I have to say that we did call about 10 companies, made 3 appointments and choose Sarasota Landscape Solutions. The owner Frank was right on it. He came with in 3 day window to walk through and get an understanding of what we were looking to do to our yards. This is a family business. His wife is the office manager. She handles the appointment, communications, billing and payments. We had a design and a quote with in days. We made a few adjustments but all said and done, it is exactly what we had envisioned! We were slightly over our budget but within reason and there are no regrets. His crew were hard working. Showed up everyday ready to work. They finished the excavation just days before Debby hit.
And then we waited. WET, WET, WET. Frank calculated out when we would be dry enough to go forward with our project. There were many thing to consider, one being when the sod could cut, as the fields were under water. We were delayed about 10 days. He was always informative and also asked for our oppenions.
WE would HIGHLY recommend using Sarasota Landscape solutions! You won't be sorry!

We are very pleased with the work Sarasota Landscape Solutions does for us. The owner, Frank Gonzales, prepared a comprehensive proposal for a major project of sodding our backyard and upgrading the landscaping in our front yard. The proposal included color photos of the suggested plants and a diagram. The yard looks beautiful. We were so impressed we switched to them for our regular maintenance.

However, what truly sets them apart is the excellent customer service Frank provides! He is quick to check on any problem and fix it himself.

Frank and his team redid an island in the front of our home. It’s a big island and I have tried to decide what plants to put in for a long time. I called Sarasota Landscape Solutions LLC because they did a neighbor’s yard and I liked how it turned out. Frank and I talked quite a bit about the plants to use. Frank was very patient and shared his vast knowledge of Florida plants. I was very impressed with what he knew about sunny and shaded areas and what would thrive. He submitted a plan to me and actually worked to exchange some plants to different plants that I liked. Frank and his business are busy, but I never felt like he didn’t have the time to talk to me and give me what I wanted. Frank and his team members work well together, achieved a great finished project and cleaned up everything after they were finished. It was refreshing to have a company that took pride in their work.

I have been a customer of Tropical Outdoor Solutions for about 3 years. They check my sprinkler system quarterly and always explain what repairs need to be done. They always do a quality job. I have never had a problem.

Tropical Outdoor Solutions recently helped us with a drainage problem with the "super gutter" on our lanai.
The entire process was exceptional, especially since it seems that lately it is difficult to find vendors who do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it.
The TOS scheduled us promptly, showed up exactly on time, and did a thorough job. You can't even tell that they dug 50 feet of trench, laid pipe, and put it all back together in a day. Such hard workers and excellent communicators with any questions we had.
We would certainly recommend them for any outdoor issues.

Anthony was very thorough and knowledable concerning the irrigation system we have, and clearly explained the features that Tropical Outdoor offered.

My only issue is with all service industries in our area concerning Their "Service Call" pricing. Seems just recently if service or repairs were needed, this "Service Call" amount was credited toward your total bill. Just my opinion of all local service companies

We have contracted with Tropical for a Irrigation Filter installation. I will be happy to respond when that job has been completed.

I’ve used Tropical Outdoor Solutions for my sprinkler system maintenance. They have always done an excellent job. They are. careful to not unnecessarily run up the bill. The staff is friendly and professional.

Tropical Outdoor Solutions did a fabulous job on our outdoor lighting. Their advice on which plants to light up was right on target to give us a beautiful yard at night. We highly recommend this company.

Outstanding job by Tropical Outdoor Solutions on my drainage project. I had been having serious drainage issues around my house and needed a company who could successfully solve the problem on a variety of fronts (Drainage, re-setting of a portion of my existing hardscaping and rectifying a problem area from a previous contractor). During the consultation by Daniel, they were quickly able to identify the problems and put a plan into place. Paul, Danny and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job on the project, were extremely professional and followed up with me afterwards to asssure that everything was satisfactory. After the first big rain, I called them with a question regarding one small concern....Paul and Danny happily came back out to the house and quickly addressed my concern. Really fantastic job and great bunch of people. Kellie in the main office was wonderful to deal with as well. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone looking to make changes to their existing landscaping.

We really like the service provided by the team at Tropical Outdoor Solutions, Inc. The techs take their time to check each and every zone to assure our lawn is getting the maximum coverage of water from the sprinkler system. They are also patient with any questions. Shelby in the office is very polite and helpful. Always has a smile in her voice. Highly recommend!
