We had a wonderful experience working with Jim, Deborah and the rest of the Suncoast Custom Builders crew. They completed a covered pergola for us. Communication was seamless and Jim really listened to what we wanted to have done. They were also quick, professional, affordable and pay attention to the small details. Everything is built to last and they used the highest quality hardware. I would highly recommend and plan to have them back out for additional projects in future. Thank you!!

Jim and Deborah and their crew did a fantastic job rebuilding my deck. Jim's word is his bond, a rare thing with contractors these days. They arrived on the day they committed to arrive and finished the project when they committed. The work was quality and the completed deck was exactly as I'd envisioned and discussed with Jim. Their pricing was very fair and they provided good value for the scope of the project. I'd recommend them to anyone without hesitation and would use them again anytime I had an appropriate project.

My experience with Jim and Deborah from Suncoast about replacing my aging 2nd story deck/patio was excellent from the start. After a very competitive estimate, and a slight delay (due to architectural plan rendering and the City of StPete's slow permitting process), Jim and his crew were at my house pretty much daily (and over Christmas and New Years!) to get this project completed. With my old house, we had numerous surprises, from termite damage to water damage, which Jim and his team expertly resolved. I was very glad I could depend on Jim's expertise in keeping me informed of these issues as they arose and his quick solutions for fixing them. My new deck is likely the strongest part of my house now! Communication was always great, I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. Jim and his crew were super professional and respectful of the property and I will certainly be using Suncoast again for any future renovations.

I had a great experience with this team, I did a partial bathroom remodel converting a tub into a shower, and Jim and his team were great. Followed up promptly, showed up when they said they'd show up, kept me updated in the event of delays, and kept my house tidy where they weren't working! I'd definitely recommend them to others.

Jim and Deborah are a truly professional pair. We wanted to replace our old concrete driveway and front porch, expand our backyard paver patio and connect the two with a walkway along the side of the house. We also wanted to build a pergola for added shade over the patio.
We got estimates from a commercial paver company and a local contractor we used for some indoor remodeling but both came in quite high.
We knew a neighbor who used Jim to build a pergola and was pleased with his work, so we asked them to give us an estimate. His price was lower than the other estimates and he had good reviews, so we took the plunge. It was a great decision.
They started on time, showed up every day, did the work professionally and cleaned up after themselves when done.
They even stacked my leftover pavers out of sight for future use.
My driveway and front have lots of curves and they cut them cleanly, even though it took a lot more time and work than he had originally quoted for - yet he stuck to his original quote and did not try to increase the price. They also made sure the driveway had the proper slope for drainage to the street.
Finally, while it wasn't required, we pulled a permit for the pergola, just to have another set of (trained) eyes on the work. When the inspector came out for the first time, he was very impressed with the work. When he came back for the final and saw the total finished project, he reiterated what an excellent job Jim had done. That's high praise from a city inspector!
Jim and Deborah communicated well with us throughout the project and were a pleasure to deal with.
We will use them again and would highly recommend them.

Jim and Deborah are exceedingly professional and wonderful to work with. We called and had Jim come to the house to give us an estimate for a deck within a few days. Jim was patient and knowledgeable as we went back and forth with design ideas. Once we signed off on the final estimate, the whole project took a week, and we were pleasantly surprised at how much work was done at the end of each day. Jim was always diligent in checking how the work was done. Once, we noticed a few boards on the deck were a little jammed together, a minor imperfection that we thought we would have to live with. Jim noticed and fixed those boards without us even telling him, which goes to show how concerned he is with the quality of his work. The results speak for themselves. We are so happy with our deck and already thinking about our next project with Jim and Deborah!

It was a pleasure working with Dan and his crew during our construction. Everything was done perfect and they certainly met our expectations. The communication was above and beyond which may sound like common sense but with past contractors that has not been the case. We will use Lombardo Construction again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional contractor.

It’s always a pleasure working with Danny Lombardo. I’ve worked with him for a number of years. When I was in real estate he was my go to person for remodeling. In fact he was so good one of my customers gave him a $2000 tip. I may have used him not only for my own home but as I said for my real estate clients. But my most recent experience with him was remodeling our church bathrooms and kitchen. He was amazing his workers respected the property there were no boom boxes or cigarette butts as other contractors have done. He met all our expectations and can be trusted to do a wonderful job. We get compliments all the time about our beautiful bathrooms and kitchen

Dan and his crew do incredible work. He did some major home renovation work others simply could not have done. Plus, he did it in a timely manner - showing up every day unlike the many other contractors I have used. When we ran into problems (there are always problems) he presented solutions that worked. He also referred other contractors such as painters, electricians, and plumbers that were the best I've used. I'll only work with Dan in the future.

We have used Lombardo Construction twice in the last 10 years for 2 different places we purchased. Dan and his people have been great for both projects. On the first project he helped design and then did a complete remodel all the way down to the studs for a 3 bedroom condo. That remodel allowed us to resell years later at a much higher price than we originally paid This most recent project was a remodel of 1 bathroom, the kitchen, along with tiling and painting the entire condo. For both projects Dan and his people were great at communicating and always kept us in the loop for any decisions or status updates. Both projects were done with us back home in Illinois, so communication was critical to the projects success. From a price standpoint, Lombardo is very competitive. We quoted both projects to a number of companies and Lombardo was not the lowest or the highest, and we felt we received a fair price for the work done. Lombardo also stand by their work. We have had small issues and they have taken care of the issues very quickly.

Lombardo Construction just finished installing windows in our home. We are so pleased with our decision to go with them. Dan was very easy to work with, even when we gave him a tight timeline to get them in. Dan’s crew was efficient and respectful. They were beyond helpful with moving the heavy furniture away from the windows, and kept things neat considering the scope of the work. We are delighted with how great the windows look and how they have improved the look of our home.

Lombard Homes helped us build our two story modern farmhouse in St Petersburg Florida. Dan (owner) was always very professional and courteous when we first contacted him. He took extra time to ensure the plans we received from an architect could be realized. The company worked with our budget well and they are not afraid to be transparent with the costs of everything, especially during Covid. This company genuinely strives to work hard in fulfilling everything that you want. Our house turned out unbelievably amazing. It was more than we could have ever asked for. We are able to happily say that this beautiful house is our home and it is all thanks to Dan and the whole team at Lombardo Construction.
