Been doing work for and with Mike and his crew for almost 10+ years now! Seems like yesterday we started. Best thing about Sunbay is that they always communicate VERY clearly what’s needed and what’s going on! If I was gonna build another new house or a family member was wanting a house built or addition, Sunbay is the only way to go! Great team and great people. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Sun Bay Builders did a room addition for us a couple of years ago and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They were very communicative every step of the way which we obviously appreciated a lot. If we were ever stuck on a decision, they were extremely helpful in talking it through with us. One thing I noticed that I don’t think many contractors do, is they made sure to clean up after themselves each day. Anyone who has had work done knows how messy it can get and I was pleasantly surprised to see a clean work area when I would come home. Little details like that go a long way. I am excited to say that we have hired Sun Bay Builders again for our upcoming garage addition and kitchen remodel. Mike and his team worked hand in hand with our designer and created a new and updated office building which immediately brought the building into today’s time. We had a fantastic experience with Sun Bay Builders. They did a complete renovation and addition to our 1980’s home. Basically everything was renovated or replaced down to the studs and a new family room, master bathroom and porch were added. Mike Miano, Superintendent Jason, and their entire team were very professional during the process and were very responsive to our many requests and change orders. We picked the perfect contractor for our major house renovation and expansion when we found Sunbay Builders. From the start to finish and now in the follow up phase they have been excellent. We started by meeting with Mike and his father Mike, who gave realistic numbers in cost and time. Chip, the construction supervisor, and all their employees were a pleasure to deal with. When we ran into problems or delays, as inevitably will happen, we worked our way through them together to the satisfaction of both parties. In this time of construction boom, finding a contractor that has good reliable sub-contractors is critical. Being in the business for over thirty years and highly respected, they have a long list of sub-contractors that are reliable and do quality work.
If we ever do a project again, Sunbay will the people we go to. After such a long project we feel like they are family now.

Mike and his team completely renovated our 1950's cottage plus built a garage and studio apartment to custom plans from Allen Vellario at Davis Designs. The work took more time and money than planned BUT the quality end product is beautiful throughout. Sun Bay turned a tired cottage into a forever home. As PM, Mike successfully worked through tricky permitting and remained responsive when issues arose.

Mike and all of his employees at Sun Bay were such a pleasure to work with! They were professional, reliable, clean, and respectful of my time and home!! It can be challenging living through a home renovation while still occupying the home. I can honestly say Sun Bay made this such an easy and pleasant experience! I can not express my gratitude enough! We love the outcome of our new bathroom and closet! They were wonderful to work with and I hope to do business with them again in the future.

I hired Built with Love for a few construction projects in Tampa Bay. They’ve build single family houses for me for rentals as well as full gut renovations and house additions / ADUs. It’s my go to construction contractors for anything construction related. Honest and fair. They’ve told me where to find what I need if they were not a good fit.
