Came to our house to give estimate on remediation work due to flooding. Gave us estimate and told us no down payment - would collect payment once work was finished. We agreed and expected him back the next day to complete paperwork & start work. He never showed for appointment. We left numerous messages and did not receive a return call. The next day someone he works with showed up and demanded $6,000 before they would start work on the house. We refused and the guy proceeded to use foul language and peeled out of the driveway. Not sure what is going on with this company, but there is definitely bait & switch going on, and who knows if they would even do the work once they received money. I do NOT trust them - I advise to RUN and do not stop for anything they are selling.

DO NOT USE! Total clowns! CIS rebuilt my kitchen after a leak from a cracked pipe caused water damage and mold. The plumber recommended CIS for the reconstruction. Dealing with CIS was a nightmare. A small job in a tiny kitchen took over 6 months to complete. There was a complete lack of communication. They would disappear for weeks at a time, work had to be redone because it was done poorly the first time, vendors refused to work with them, etc. My understanding is that CIS used to have a better reputation, so don’t be fooled older reviews. Avoid CIS at all costs because they are incompetent and will make your life miserable.

Domenick Fareri was wonderful to work with. He communicated with me daily on arrival times, what work would be done and how long I could expect workers to be at my home. Domenick made the restoration project move seamlessly and on schedule.

Domenick also listened to my concerns and any repairs I was not happy with and immediately rectified the situation. I would strongly recommend requesting him to oversee a job if you want someone you can trust to do the job right.

After finding a water leak in our guest bathroom that had penetrated the walls and we suspected water damage we contacted CSI for help. They arrived on site same day after the plumbers fixed the leak. Domenick Fareri the CSI tech quickly brought in dryers and a dehumidifier to dry out the two rooms effected. He was very knowledgeable and knew what to look for.
He very quickly found where the water penetrated and positioned the equipment to start the drying process. We then discovered some water penetrated the floor below. Domenick helped and set up a dryer in the room effected. Domenick left the dryers run for several days then returned with test equipment an made sure all the effected areas were completely dry.
We very much appreciated the quick response and expertise that helped get the problem rectified quickly with minimal damage.

If you choose to sign a contract with CIS be prepared to be robbed. CIS was recommended by Dustin. He introduced me to Jeff who would become our contractor. The project was estimated to be completed in 5 months. Jeff demanded that 50% be paid upfront. On the day the project was scheduled to be completed Jeff sent Sebastian to my house to sign another document for permitting. Fast forward to the pandemic, Jeff used the virus as an excuse for permitting issues. After my attorney called the county and confirmed that they had not stopped or slowed down the permitting process, I invited my attorney to a meeting with Jeff and our interior designers. Of course Jeff lied the entire time but he promised, in front of many witnesses, that he would return my check for $221,303.50. It’s been over a year since that meeting and Jeff has still refused to return the money and provided receipts. The only receipt I have is for $100,000 in materials to Authentic Concept. Homeowners beware!

CIS is an outstanding organization that I most highly recommend for a multitude of difficult tasks. Over a period of 4 1/2 months, they mitigated water and mold damage caused by leaky plumbing, dried everything out, and restored walls, ceilings, and floors to perfection through drywall work, painting, and other tasks. I am also indebted to them for noticing on several occasions that the plumbers had not fixed everything properly, which was a different company. Furthermore, they are experts at dealing with homeowners insurance companies, and their persistence and negotiations with my insurance company is the only reason why things were completely fixed.

Great Company to work with!!!! House was flooded from ETA. Yes, it is taking time to repair. There are many of my neighbors also needing repairs. Supplies are limited during a pandemic. They are being very upfront and honest and helping me deal with the insurance company in the understanding how the flood policy really works. I am just grateful they are here to answer my calls and questions and help me move forward in the right direction!!! Professionalism at it's finest!!!!!

Too much to type as to what they did to my elderly parents at our house in St. Petersburg. And when asked for a detailed breakdown of their services, we next received a lien on the house. Three years ago their services cost less than $6k for 5 times the work they did this time. They provided a detailed invoice with line items. This time they sent 11 people, only 3 worked while the others stood around, they didn’t use 1/20th of the materials they did the first time and charged my elderly parents OVER $13k. With no explanation, no line items, only a copy of a lien they filed for the newest bill.

They will be on the news soon - they didn’t know that my wife is a local news reporter and already is interviewing other unhappy clients. Going to put them out of business…

Working with CIS was a great experience. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was truly amazing. Dustin and Ted were some on the most professional people we have ever worked with. Fernando, David and Ortega, as well as everyone from the movers to the individual employees whom we came in contact with on a daily basis, were amazing to work with as well.

I want to thank Dustin, Alex, Nick, Dallas and Scott for showing up so quickly when I experienced a ton of water from my shower which went through my wall to the kitchen, family room and office/dining room area. Not only were they professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable, each person did their specific job to perfection once the plumber from Red Cap Plumbing left. I have never experienced such superb coordination. They did what they had to do and left 10 machines in my home to monitor, help dry things up, and circulate fresh air. I was in awe of every job each man did to make sure samples were taken, and they assured me that they would work closely with my insurance company which was a relief.

I had a great experience using CIS after I experienced massive water damage to my condo. First of all Dallas started the project working with the insurance company and instituting the demolition. Ted Kamensky took over from there in providing new flooring, paint and then creating a beautiful new kitchen! Dallas and Ted were a joy to work with! There were other men who were also great, too many to mention. If you hire CIS, you certainly won't be disappointed.

I am beyond grateful for this company! We had, what seemed at the time, to be a small kitchen water leak. Turns out there is mold in our walls and the kitchen. We referred to CIS and literally, the same day, Adam and Sven came out to evaluate the situation. They were extremely professional, courteous, honest, and so helpful! They explained every little detail to me and even reviewed my insurance policy, timeline for work, best/worst case scenarios, all of it! I am so grateful for their help today. They even texted me to follow up shortly after they left. If your in need of serious help like we were, i strongly recommend using this company! And definitely ask for Sven and Adam, they were a pleasure to work with during a beyond stressful time.

We were saved by CIS! Great company worked hard to also save our built in bookcase that had gotten mold on it. Awesome customer service and the job was done in a timely manner working with us step by step. Special thanks to Domenick whose TLC kept us sane at a very challenging time.

CIS made a bad situation a living nightmare! I would describe their services as over-promised, under-delivered, deceitful, poor communication, untimely delivery of services and unethical billing practices. I contacted them in the beginning of August to address mold remediation. I was told the actual physical labor aspect would start in a week. They did not start until the end of October. In the process, they damaged furniture, walls and my TV- all of which have not been repaired properly. The owner, Dustin, also told me that the post test indicated zero mold in the home, but after asking for the test for 2 weeks, it showed there was still mold in the home and I found large pockets of mold they refused to come back and address, stating it wasn’t part of their protocol. Mind you, when hiring them, their representative identified mold in these areas and told me they expect to find more mold than visible and prepared me the job would be larger than appeared. Dustin also assured me in a verbal conversation they would address all areas of the home that tested positive for mold because I have children in the home. These areas were neglected. Once the job was complete, they never sent me an invoice yet moved forward by placing a lien on my home for the outstanding invoice. Again, I was waiting on the invoice since I hired them as a customer so that I could work with my insurance company to have the invoice paid per my insurance company’s policy. This policy and procedure was discussed up front before work started. Additionally, my questions and concerns were never addressed. I did not receive returned calls in a timely matter and emails were responded to after business hours and typically questions were not addressed, so it could take a week to get 1 questioned answered. I just got confirmation they accepted payment through my insurance company about a month ago. Still no notification they have dropped the lien. This company lacks scruples and ethics. Save yourself the headache and avoid them!

I had to call this company to come out for a bathroom flood I had and had a great experience with the team they sent. I only recall two of their names that came out over the course of a week but they were all great! Junior helped get the sample and was nice to talk with and Dustin helped me so much answering my questions and easing my anxiety about the insurance process and even stuck around to help me talk with them. Thank you all!

I managed to flood out my bathroom and back bedrooms while moving a vanity. Dallas with CIS got out to me within an hour on a Saturday morning. He was able to get to work assess so quickly that I was able to salvage all my floors (Vinyl Planks) he got me set up with humidifiers and fans. He was able to show and explain the damage as well as the plan to fix it. He even helped with the little stuff like moving wet towels abs sweeping up.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I was really appreciative of the quick and effective work in a bad situation.
