Excellent tree service. Very professional and extremely fast. They removed a tree for me and it was done quickly and efficiently. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional company. Absolutely no respect for homeowners property or requests. Ignore requests for no solicitation and left trash on my property. I would not hire them if they were the last company in Pinellas County. If they can’t follow simple directions imagine the problems once hired!

Do NOT hire this company. Extremely unprofessional. Today these people worked on our next door neighbors house, they decided to come onto our property without asking anyone, to step all over our bed of flowers, against the neighbors fence, knocked over flower pots i had on a stand, and a compost bin over other plants, LEFT WITHOUT picking anything up!!! and left debris from the palm they were trimming on our side. What kind of company does this? I am so upset they disrespected our home and my hard work of growing my butterfly garden. I am enraged, if they have people doing this, don’t trust them to work on your property.

We have used Mark Michaels twice in the past 3 years and the service is excellent! We’ve got multiple trees removed and trees trimmed both back and front yard. They show up on time as scheduled and get the job done quick. Will continue to use them for any future services. Highly recommend!

So impressed with Mark Michaels Tree Service. I reached out to them after they'd put a flyer on my door - needed a laurel oak trimmed back from over our pool. Mark was able to come over to take a look within 20 minutes of me placing the call and then had his crew there that afternoon. They were fast and managed to keep the limbs and debris out of the pool - something I was definitely worried about!

Another plus was that the cost was very reasonable. It was about 40% of one quote I got - and they did really good work - exactly what I asked for with no pressure to do anything more or different than what I needed.

Lastly - I noticed that the guys had cracked one of the tiles in the deck around the pool - probably with the chipper. I texted Mark and he responded immediately - was out the next morning to replace the tile. (We had extras on hand.) He made it look like it had never happened with no hassle or delay!

This is the third tree service we've used for our St. Pete area home and definitely the best we've done business with. Great prices, customer service, work and responsiveness.

Mark and his team do a great job. They were able to trim my trees same day and even came back when I needed more branches thinned (at no extra cost). I use them annually.

Mark is very professional and listens well to understand the look I wanted for shaping and trimming multiple trees and bushes in our yard. His staff are polite and efficient. Our landscaping was truly refreshed.

Mark the owner of Mark Michaels Tree Service met with me to review the scope of needed tree work and provided a very fair estimate. His crew of 4 arrived several days later at the appointed time and skillfully did the needed work of opening space for light, wind and power lines. 2 of the older oaks had never been professionally trimmed. These oaks look majestic now. He limbed-up newer live oaks to enhance growth and freed oak limbs from an adjacent live oak so our street still has a canopy but no longer interferes with power lines.

His team of arborists were patient, understood the scope of our project, and did their work not only professionally but understood the needed esthetics to enhance our landscape. Clean-up was thorough and required no follow-up. Cost came in as projected. Overall, an excellent result. Mark Michaels Tree Service will be on our recall.

Had Mark and his team remove a dying oak tree. They did a great job from estimate, tree removal, stump grinding, and clean up. All at a fair price. I highly recommend Mark Michaels for any tree service.

Owner was very honest and straightforward with pricing and explanation of services. Crew came out same day which was impressive. Groundsmen were friendly and quick. They made an effort to leave my yard exactly as they found it, which was amazing given the amount of debris they dragged out. I wouldn’t recommend any other tree service in St Pete.

We hired Mark Michael’s tree service to trim some trees, remove a pine tree, and trim some hedges. The workers did a very professional, efficient job. We were extremely pleased with the work and they were all such a joy to work with. Mark Michaels is great, 10/10 A++ recommend him.

We had Mark and his team out again to trim our trees for the upcoming hurricane season. As usual, they did a great job maintaining the 19 Oak trees that ring our property, and canopy the street and our yard. Over the 15 years or so that Mark has been working with us, he and his team (many of whom have been with him for years - no small feet in this business) have been professional, courteous, and expedient.
Mark will consult on best practices for trees that span over the street, or that are shared with neighbors, as well as advise on maintenance for older trees and those nearing end of life. Never pushing for costlier solutions, but working with us to find the *right* one.

My dad recommended Mark’s services and I’m glad he did. Mark gave me a super fast estimate for tree removal after Hurricane Milton and was also more affordable than the other estimate I received from a different company in town. I live out of the country, so it was also nice to be able to communicate via text with my time zone. 10/10 would call Mark again!
