Great work by Myles and Jacob to install a dedicated kitchen outlet. Pretty difficult in an 86 year old house, but they stayed with it without complaint. 2nd time I've used Joel Foy Electrical and definitely not the last. Also, they charge you for actual materials. My last electrician liked to triple the material cost!

Sam, sales manager, tried to upsell me on buying a heater ceiling fan unit for $500+ when I had selected one for $279, same product warranty. Installer left an inch wide gap along the 14 inch length of unit, remarking I could "get my drywall guy to repair it!" Another project, tech installed a light fixture bracket off center, rendering it non-parallel to the adjacent wall 52 inches away, noticeable upon entry into my kitchen. Refused to correct it unless I paid for the callback visit! Now, after sending them proof of payment from my bank twice dated May 19th, they're falsely claiming they haven't been paid, falsely claiming I'm 35 days overdue when their original invoice date was dated May 2nd, so as of today, it's been less than 30 days. Very disputable, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

I have been renovating my house since Dec 2024 and have used Joel Foy Electrical 3 times. Every technician that they have sent to my house has been awesome. From Myles and Jacob, Ian and his assistant (so sorry I can't remember his name because he was an extremely awesome young man) and Jacob and Alex. I will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them.

They fit me in quickly and the two electricians (Drew & Tony) that came out to my house were respectful, knowledgeable and got me back up and running. They didn't make us feel dumb for needing fixtures / lights changed and even went above in beyond when the fan we bought had a manufacturer error. Cannot say enough good things about this company.

Jacob and Danger did a top-notch job of installing a light fixture. It involved going through drywall to drop wiring and putting in a new socket. They were professional and quick.

Joel Foy Electrical came out and did numerous repairs on my electrical today based on home inspection so that I can sell my home. The techs were professional and explained everything they did, took pictures and sent them to me, and left their work area very neat and clean. The invoice was very reasonable. Phillip and Danger installed a bathroom cabinet, bedroom ceiling fan and 2 GFIs. As soon as they arrived, they exuded confidence and took charge. Carried in their own supplies and explained the plan of work. They were safety oriented and knowledgeable. The heated vanity was installed and then required a circuit box and wire drop from the attic. The fan had difficult wiring and they were careful with safety process. Danger did a great job on the outlets and assisting Philip, who was a hero in the attic! Then Danger cleaned up all the fallen insulation and climbed back in that attic to return it! Highly recommend these folks!! Very polite and pleasant.

On another project, sales manager refused to correct inaccurate placement of light fixture bracket without charging me for another visit.
Now, they are pretending they haven't received my payment that was sent/verified by my bank only 17 days after they invoiced me! Sam is very unprofessional to deal with. They can do clean work when hired by other contractors, but did shoddy work for me individually. I've sent proof of payment now three times; YET THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T HAVE PAYMENT! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

We had a terrible alarm clock of no power in the house that turned out to be a burned up electrical panel. Got in contact with Joel Foy Electric first thing in the morning and they were at the house working by mid morning.

Phil and Jacob got to work preparing the new panel while waiting for Talquin to disconnect service, and once that was done they made short work of removing the old damaged panel. These guys worked through lunch and got us back in service again in 6hrs! And not only that, but they got it all done with smiles and friendly chats about questions I had the whole time. They worked around the space constraints with respect and without complaint.

I’ll be using and recommending Joel Foy Electric in the future based on the experience we had with Phil and Jacob. Thanks guys!
