My wife and I tried to install a new ceiling fan in our living room that has a vaulted ceiling. After 4 hrs. of frustration and renting a 16’ ladder the fan never made it up! I called Joel Foy Electric and spoke to Sam who got a good chuckle out of my dilemma. A cancellation opened up some time for them that same afternoon to assess my situation. Jake and his apprentice came out and within one hour had my fan up and running with the remote all working perfectly! Thank you gentlemen for your professionalism in installing our new ceiling fan and possibly saving my marriage! Just kidding, but we are very satisfied and will always call and recommend Joel Foy Electric!

I am a property manager and I have been working with GT Electric since last summer. I absolutely love Morgan. We’ve gotten to know each other quite a bit over the last six months and she ALWAYS goes out of her way to help me and get me on the schedule ASAP. Justin and Jacob are usually the ones that respond and they are absolutely amazing. Justin really saved me today. I was literally crying tears of joy. I could not ask for a better vendor to help me with all my electrical problems. They have never let me down and I will always do business with them. Thanks for being so wonderful guys.

My husband contacted GT Electric a couple of weeks ago for assistance with an electrical issue we were having at our home in Monticello. We were surprised to find that one of their electricians would be able to come out so quickly, and that they actually showed up! Two knowledgeable, friendly and efficient technicians arrived at my home in the time frame that I was given, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, and after 45 minutes were able to solve the issue. We had a slight issue with billing, so I reached out to the owner Ben. Talk about customer service! Ben immediately responded to my concerns, and handled everything with professionalism and respect. I was impressed already with the technicians, but to meet an owner of a business who shows support not only to his employees, but also to the customer, made it an easy decision to write this review, and spread the word on a really great family owned company. It can be hard to find an electrician who even returns your calls, much less show up, so to find a company like GT Electric who were friendly and knowledgeable from the initial call, to the completed work, even following up to make sure we were happy with our service and experience, is almost unheard of. I highly recommend using GT Electric for your electrical needs.

Cody and Jacob arrived on time, worked quickly and kept me informed throughout. They were able to identify an issue that both a home inspector and a previous electrician had missed. GT Electric did great work, and I’m grateful to have found a go-to electrician!

I called GT Electric because several of my neighbors had positive experiences with GT. Justin led the crew to install outside floodlights and under-deck floodlights. These guys are the “Seal Team 6” of getting stuff done! They showed up right on time and within a few short hours exceeded my expectations in the end product. They were stealth while working and left the place spotless. My only concern was, after my wife checked the job, they were done and gone before I could personally thank them. The entire project even passed the “white-glove test” of satisfying The Goddess, my wife! Double thumbs up on Justin and GT Electric.

I realized the day before Hurricane Helene was supposed to make landfall that I was no longer on septic and would need power for my grinder pump to work, but had no interlock kit for my generator. I was not optimistic at all when I started calling electrical companies in the morning to see if one could come install one, and the first four that I called all told me there was no way to make it happen. GT Electric was my fifth call and SK was great. She assured me they’d be by at some point, she just couldn’t guarantee a time because of how chaotic their schedule had become. Sure enough, GT’s techs were at the house at 7pm and got the connection installed. We lost power the next day and my generator ran the house without a hitch.

GT Electric was my fifth call that day, but from now on they’ll be my first for any kind of electrical need.

I called in a terrible bind yesterday and Jose was here today with the solution. Great disposition, friendly attitude. He seemed to really care and even circled back to my house when I called him back with a question, to explain it in person WITH photos!!!

Our technician, Doug, was efficient and knowledgeable. He got to work quickly and had the problem rooted out in no time. He also explained things clearly and concisely taking away any worry that the problem wasn't resolved.
This was an overall great experience.
