I was referred to Dean’s electric from my plumber and I can’t say enough good things about them. They squeezed me in the next day when I needed so help getting electrical to my new dishwasher. They found an easy and cost effective solution for my needs. I will always call them first when needing anything electrical done in the future.

Had an emergency at Mom's house, tree branch fell over the power lines and caused smoke and havoc inside. TECO quickly disconnected the power and recommended Dean's Electric to make repairs to the pipe and meter box. Called Dean's but they were so busy they had no one available so Dean himself showed up! This is a guy who is a real Master at his craft. He quickly made repairs so TECO could come back and set up the power lines. Power was restored and his bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend Dean's Electric for any and all electrical work.

Fantastic service! Just had some old fluorescent tubes removed from ceiling and replaced with can lights. CJ, the gentleman who did the service, was efficient, professional, and very clean. He even used a blanket under his ladder to collect drywall dust and protect the floors from the feet of the ladder. The work was done promptly and professionally. At the end, CJ gave a recommendation about installing some lights under the kitchen counters (very good idea) but wasn't pushy about selling this small project. I would definitely use this company again if needed.

Highly recommend for installation of light fixtures, ceiling fans and 28' ceiling chandelier. The 2 electricians sent to our home were excellent, had integrity in their work,respect for you and our home. Plus reasonable rate for quality service.

Dustin did an amazing job, and our new lights and disposal plug looks amazing and works perfectly. Our 3 year old was very interested in what he was doing, and he took the time to interact with him and show him a few (safe) things. Highly professional, would definitely recommend, and we will be using them for more work in the future.

I used Dean’s Electric about 1 year ago for some work at my home involving installing a 30amp line for our RV. This may sound like a simple job but honestly it was a bit tricky. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Dean and Dave as they both personally saw this job through. I honestly couldn’t have expected a better, faster result. Absolute Aces right there and clearly honest people. Now, why did I wait 1 year to post a review? One reason honestly, I was reading all these reviews tonight because I was thinking about how they are doing through this Covid pandemic. Honestly just thinking of them because they ARE a great local business, then I come across this one woman’s 1 Star review, bashing this company????. I’m relatively new to the Tampa region but am no stranger to patronizing “mom and pop” businesses. I humbly admit I’m pretty good at finding and picking the winners!! I sleep pretty good anytime I’ve recommended Dean’s. I also wanted to point out Dean’s very professional response to that customer. THAT’S who you’d be dealing with! Dean’s Electric took awesome care of us with our under cabinet lighting, our landscape lighting, adding recess cans and they helped us hang some outdoor fans! They turned our dully-lit living and kitchen area into bright and beautiful focal points of our home. I totally trusted the crew with the can layout and I could not be happier. The landscape lighting made such a huge difference too. They are the best priced in Tampa/surrounding areas and are the real deal. Philip spent a day and a half fixing a number of various electrical issues in my house. Philip was on time and everything is now working. I can highly recommend Dean's Electric for prompt and professional service for all your electrical needs.

The first Dean's electrician came out and told me I needed to order 4" retrofit lights, instead of the 6" ones I already had ordered, so I returned the 6" ones and ordered the 4" ones.

When the second Dean's electrician came out, he said that they won't fit my existing cans either, so need to return them. He said he would have someone at his office research what I needed and would get back to me. Also, I needed a pool breaker switch replaced to handle higher amp load from new pool equipment. However, the second Dean's electrician said I needed all new wiring and he would have someone from his office call me to explain it.

They charged a trip charge and 1 hour of work, even though NO work was done. This was all about 2 weeks ago.

I got an electrician from another company to come check out the canned lights' replacement and the pool breaker switch/wiring. He said that they can work with the 6" canned lights by trimming some of the hardware on those new lights. Also, only needed a new breaker switch for the pool breaker, not all new wiring.

So, not only did Dean's electricians give me wrong information and caused me to order/re-order/and wait, wait, wait, they never even called me back to follow up when they said they would....and they charged me for NOT doing work when they said they would come back. Terrible, terrible company.

I must admit, being in the world of real estate, I was afraid of using an electrician when my seller needed work. One person came from a big company who advertises all over the net, to meet me and I felt so taken advantage of. He was a fast talker.....talk about "price gouge to the tune of $8,000 was quoted!" How do they sleep at night? So I called Deans' and from the start, I felt comfortable and really felt that honesty would prevail for my seller and it did. Final price was under $400- The other company quoted things I didn't come close to needing!
So hard to trust and now I have found my electrician, a com[any with morals and values! I am so grateful to have made the extra call and THANK YOU to Dean and his staff. A company and its employees where "sleeping at night" must be easy!

Breaker box on my power pole went out so I was out ac/heat. Sent them photos of the box and Dean arrived with everything he needed to quickly finish the job. Reasonable price and good service.

I feel I need to explain my experience with Dean. I called his company to quote a job. I have some knowledge of electricity and felt some wiring was incorrectly done and wanted to correct it. Dean took the time to explain to me that due to the home's age the wiring was correct and that I didn't need to change the current setup. He said he would change it if I so wished but it was not necessary and proceeded to give me an estimate. Basically he talk himself out of a job but gained my respect. If I have a job in the future I will definitely use his services.

Sean from Dean’s electric installed two fans on our new front porch, added outlets, switches, and a light in our cupola. He arrived on time, was kind and courteous. Sean worked very hot on one of the hottest days of the year. When he was done he nicely cleaned up all of the work areas. We always call Dean’s electric whenever we need an electrician. He’s the favorite electrician in our neighborhood.

Terrific company and awesome staff! Chuck and Sutton did a fantastic job installing our charger and 2 outlets through the concrete blocks on the lanai. Super talented, super friendly. Very pleased overall!

I had issues with a ceiling fan and could smell the wires burning. I immediately called Dean's electrical service because of the great work they have done for me in the past. They sent someone out even though it was New Year's Eve. Dustin came out and quickly identified the issue. I highly recommend Dean's electrical service for any electrical concern. Dean’s Electrical Svc! Our goto electrical guys since being highly recommended 6+ years ago. Yesterday, Had the pleasure of yet another excellent electrician from Dean’s named Sean. He was highly Professional and patiently helped us understand the problems and make informed decisions. Especially appreciate Sean fielding questions about other potential electrical issues around the property. Dean’s is simply the best!

Used Jaz with Dean's Electrical Service for two small jobs recently and was very impressed with his efficient service. After troubleshooting a problem, he replaced a faulty light switch and a faulty outlet in another room and installed two exterior outlets (one was a GFI outlet). He clearly explained what he was doing and why. Price seemed reasonable. Would definitely use him and his company again.

Had an emergency. Teco was going to shut off the power at a house if we didn't have repairs made within 6 days. Dean's came out, made the timely repairs and were all good now. Definitely recommend Dean's Electrical!
