Unfortunately after the work was done serious confusion about the billing caused the owner to get nasty.... Would Never recommend them

Electrician did good work...but management not forthcoming in disclosing appropriate charges before the work was done. Sending bills after the fact and demanding payment. Stay Away!!!

This company should probably do more checks on their drivers. Ford truck with the tag DAJR63 swerved in and out of lanes before cutting me off with out a blibker. Not the kind of professionalism I'd want from a company I hired.

Driver with license plate gdu b44 was tailgating me while driving and was dangerously close to my vehicle. Then the driver cut off the car beside me to get around me. Thought I’d share how your drivers represent your business.

Best of the best. When everyone say no I don't know how.. Bates say yes to everything you trow at them .. very professional execution of the job .. impressive skills.

In one year paid this company over$1 million dollars for work at two sites.
First problem and still under warranty and they want to charge to fix a $1500 failure.
Had to coerce the owner to meet his obligations under contract and he still failed to meet them.

Bad experience all around with this group and owner.

Literally watched one of their workers at my apartment complex Try to fix a light. Not be able to figure it out. Dude leaves the light hanging for these little kids basically to get zapped. As an electrician, DO BETTER!

Bates electric is our back up and emergency Industrial electrical responder. They provide and invaluable service that keeps us up and running during normal hours and in the middle of the night. I want to start by saying I have never used hates electric service, However being in the construction industry myself I believe the most important thing in a company and their leadership is the ability to trust them and believe they will always do the right thing. I was involved in a car accident where their vp of operations side swiped my vehicle. no need to get into crazy detail however I was stopped in traffic lane merging onto 275 from the veterans and he was trying to go around in the lane that direction you towards hwy 60, He did not fully appreciate the size of his new 2022 Denali and hit me. At first he did not stop nor slow down until I was able to get caught up to him and lay on my horn and he finally pulled over. Impossible for me to be at fault being that I was stopped in the traffic lane to merge onto 275 to change lanes would to have been to go the wrong direction I needed to go. I made a claim with the insurance company that Insures Nate’s electric and their vehicles Bates electric told the insurance company it was my fault and made up a false statement. Thankfully the insurance company saw threw their lies and took the liability, however if the adjuster wasn’t more honorable than the Managment of Bates electric I would be repairing my truck on my own dime. I can afford that, However I think about a single mother living on a fixed income where this guy just ran his 105k dollar vehicle into someone and him and the multi million dollar company chose to lie and not do the right thing and take responsibility for their actions. So how I can not attest to their ability to twist wires together, I can attest to their values in their actions and when you’re hiring someone to do work for you that you have no idea if it’s being done correctly you need to be able to trust them. I wouldn’t trust this this company to do the right thing when the situation is not in their favor.

I called at least 4 electrical companies. The longest wait for service was November 4. The shortest was a couple days. The whole house was without electricity after a breaker in the main panel tripped. We just went grocery shopping so the fridge was full. I contacted Bates Electric. They contacted one of their techs. The tech named John I. called me and said he’d be at our house in 50 minutes driving from Brooksville. He arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the faulty breaker. Did some other diagnostics and the electricity was back on. Our house is very old and the old 60 amp breakers can’t hold the draw that all the new appliances and devices put on it. The entire panel needs to be replaced but thankful Bates and their tech John saved all the food in our fridge. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

I turned to Bates because they specialize in residential EV charging station solutions and installation. Bates represents they are available 24/7 and that's just what I was looking for as a brand new first time EV owner. Sure enough after the installation I ran into an issue with the software of the charging station. I reached out to Bates and they took all the necessary steps to insure the issue I was dealing with would be resolved quickly. They took the issue I was dealing with seriously and most important took action in a very quick time frame to insure my issue was resolved... and it was before the end of the day. These are good guys you can trust... not the least expensive contractor but one of the best I'll continue to support with our business.

The job was done efficiently and professionally. The electrician Mike was knowledgeable a 30 year journeyman and a complete ROCKSTAR. I highly recommend Bates Electric.
