I have been a customer with Affordable Air Solutions for over a decade. I know the owners Patrick and Diane personally. The A/C techs are knowledgeable and the staff is professional. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Had them install our new system back in September 2017 and they did a great job. The new systems has worked like a champ and I would have recommended them to anyone. BUT, and this is the catch, they are terrible at meeting service appointments to service the great systems they install.
Twice now I have had a 2 hour window for service, the first back on 4/19 from 10-Noon and the second was today 4/30 from 3-5 PM. Both times they called after their stated appointment that the technician was running late, but they CALL AFTER THE APPOINTMENT! How is that good customer service? How about you call within the appointment window to state problems; as well as make things right by at least making 1 appointment on time or offering to service for a discount or for free. Heck if I missed two back to back appointments with any client, I'd be fired or asked not to come back too! They are good at being their in a jamb, but forget it when you need yearly maintenance and service.
UPDATE: 5/11/2019
After my Google review (and a Facebook one too) went up, we received a call just a few days later looking to rectify their mistake. While I would have thought they would have made more attempts at calling us, and not wanting us to call them... we finally received the service we were originally expecting! Service appointment was kept today and was completed without a hitch. I've upgraded the stars from 2 to 4 because of the measures they took to ensure we were valued customers. Will re-review again next spring when service needs to be done again :)

Josh from Affordable Air is awesome 👏 He was on time, professional, friendly and had great customer service skills! He quickly assessed my issue and saved the day! My kids & I had been dealing with 85 degree heat due to a faulty a/c unit for 2 days and Josh had it repaired quickly & efficiently! I couldn’t be more grateful!!! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Josh P. was sent out once again to check out my leaking & malfunctioning a/c unit! I was SO happy to see his smiling face again! (He even remembered me from last time he was here, almost a whole year ago!) Just as last time, he quickly identified the problem and before I knew it, he was done! No more leak, no more a/c not working, just nice cool air for my kids and I! Thanks, J.P. You are our hero!

This company installed a new AC unit for us yesterday and we are very pleased with the service we got from them. The technicians were on time, in their masks, booties and gloves and wore them literally the entire time they were in the house. They could not have been more respectful of our home or of us. The price of our new AC unit was $1,100 less than the heating and air company we had been using and $500 less than the next best quote we got for this job. I am thankful to have found them. We have 2 AC units that have to be maintained so this place is a good find for us.

We are so thankful for Affordable Air Solutions. Our A/C went out on Christmas Day. They offered the lowest price with 12-months free financing. The customer service was outstanding. Diane and Brooke were wonderful to work with. The install team, TJ and Tim, were so polite, professional and respectful. I highly recommend this top notch company!

After a referral from a friend, we have been using Affordable Air Solutions for a very long time on our own home and our rentals. They truly are affordable and HONEST. One company said we needed a completely new system, over $7K, and Affordable said the coils just needed cleaning. BTW, when they installed a brand new system in our home, our electric bill dropped by 40%. I could not be happier and I recommend them to everyone.

I know enough about A/Cs to be dangerous and had done my research at manufacturers websites.
I called several A/C contractors asking for specific quotes on my selected systems.
Affordable Air Solutions gave me a very good installed price on the system I asked for a quote on, did not try to sell me something I did not want, and responded quickly to my follow up questions regarding duct work and other potentially necessary extras. The techs worked tirelessly in the worlds hottest attic and did not complain. The duct work was reasonably priced and did solve my problems in the hot back bedrooms.
I have told friends I feel like I have a neighbor in the business, and recommended they contact them for any a/c work.
Will refer and use again when needed.

Edit: drain line was never flushed in the April 2023 visit, if it were then I would not have needed a tech on 5/22/23 with his flushing pulling out a tremendous amount of debris. The system was clogged galore. The thermostat didn’t need programming and the tech stood there staring at the thermostat not sure what to do. I used this company 4/18/23 for an full point inspection because I suspected the unit was underworking. Upon a review the technician found NOTHING wrong. I called again and requested someone else come out to trouble shoot. It was discovered the filter drier needed replacing. The next day another tech came and replaced it. No full point inspection was performed as I later discovered today 5/22/23 when my system chut down due to the drain pipe was FULL and needed cleaning out. I paid 79.00 for the original visit and 150.00 for the second visit. Today I have contacted a totally different company and it will be costing me for this visit and drain pipe cleaning. Ridiculous and unprofessional. I wasn't going to post a review but with this today I am certain no one performed any actual review of my system or ran any maintenance check up and handling. Lets also mention my unit was purchased through Affordable Air Solutions and installed 2020. I have had several visits since then. The duct connection to the air handler was incorrectly taped leaving gaps to blow air all through the attic for a month. A capacitor blew soon after this installation. Of current, the unit vibrates and rattles due to poor harnessing in the attic. Need I say more? Very displeased overall with their quality. Will never use them again.

Excellent service! Came in on a Monday morning with a full schedule of patients to find my thermostat wasn’t working. My AC tech of many years was unavailable until the end of the day - left a message with Affordable Air Solutions at 6:00 AM and they were in my office by 8:30 AM, the problem was solved by 9:30 AM. Saved the day, made my patients comfortable, and didn’t have to close for the day.
Happy to announce I now have a NEW AC tech company to service my future needs.

I had the pleasure of working with Josh recently and it was a very refreshing experience. As a property manager, working with vendors can sometimes be a stressful experience however with Josh this was not the case. He is extremely attentive and detailed and always professional. I hope our paths cross soon again!

Our central ac system was 21 years old and the condenser unit stopped working on Friday evening, August 19. I called Diane, office manager at Affordable on Monday morning, August 22 and requested an estimate to replace the system with a 3 ton Rheem unit. She gave me a quote and said they could install the unit the next morning if I let her know by noon. She immediately followed up our phone conversation with an emailed copy of the proposal.

I gave her my approval and their crew arrived Tuesday morning around 9:15 am and immediately went to work removing the old system. I monitored some of their work and was very pleased with both their progress and efficiency. By 2:45 pm the system was completed and I could already feel the change inside the house. They then completed their clean up, which was very well done, thanked me for choosing their services and left my house.

I spent 3 days without air and although I sent email contact information to 3 other air conditioning companies, Affordable was the only company who responded to my call in an expeditious manner. I am very pleased with the entire encounter and I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Josh, who I talk to on the phone sometimes is really nice and some of the workers are very nice and educated however not all of them are. We recently got a new air conditioner unit installed. They had to come back a couple of times to finish stuff up because the inspection didn’t go very well and then during a big storm, our house was struck by lightning and the air conditioner was destroyed. We ended up having to get a new one and they came out and installed it but then they had to come back about four or five times because every time the inspector would go look at the installation, there was air leaking out.

Recently noticed air coming out of the door by the air handler, and I opened up the door to see that a component was peeling off the wall and the putty that they used was not holding it up anymore. The guy was able to come out pretty quickly and fix it so hopefully this is resolved, but I am reading it in the middle because there is definitely room for improvement.

Outstanding company to do business with! Good prices, expert installation (thank you Eric), knowledgeable & friendly people. A refreshing & pleasant business transaction.

Paid to have duct work replaced, called at least 4 times because air wasn't working in the house. Called another company and they found that the duct work wasn't connected to the unit. When the installer came back out he said he didn't secure the duct to the unit. Do not recommend this company!

I had a great experience with Affordable Air! Excellent service scheduling, got a call ahead of time when they were on their way (which is very important to me). Good, fair pricing. And J.P. who came out was on time, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to fix my AC issue. Highly recommend!

Eric and his team were extremely punctual, professional, efficient and kind. They were also the best priced services out of the ones I’ve called in the Bay.

All year ice cold air, then late September it stopped, only cool air now. I called Diane and she sent a tech, took 10 minutes ($85) to tell me a TXV valve was bad, they ordered the part (under warranty) and quoted $850 labor. Tech arrived first thing and by 11:30 am he asked me to turn on the system, great success, ice cold air again! I went back inside as the tech picked up his tools and cleaned up. 20 mins later I noticed a burning smell coming from the vents, along with not cold air, I went to the air handler and the tech was soldering with a blow torch (system running) near the new TXV. He said sorry the heat fried the new TXV and the office was sending another, he installed it, no cold air. Several trips later they can't figure out the problem and now they want $85 per hour to keep trying. I can't believe they want me to pay when it sure seems like the tech using the blow torch is at fault.

Not pleased.

From when I called the front office staff, to install with Tim this company is top notch! We had a quote of over $3000 with another company to replace a coil, and reattach air exchange. Affordable Air Solutions did it for a third of the cost, and installed a new smart thermostat. Beyond happy with this company!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They are quick to respond, professional, friendly and REASONABLE. Our technician was Alfred and he was so nice, thorough and very informative. They are now our HVAC company and we've requested that Alfred be our techncian.
