Very friendly and thorough. We had a complete new system installed and the techs, Brian and Randy,, did a professional job. You can tell they take pride in their work. Everything was left neat and tidy when finished. They were quick to respond when we had an issue with the thermostat. They exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend.

Sunstate Mechanical did a fantastic job installing our new unit. The work inside was clean and meticulous. The outside unit was the same. You can tell the installation tech took pride in his work. We passed inspection with flying colors. The County inspector even said when he walked up “We won’t have my problems with this one” just based on the cleanliness and detail of the handler install.

The team at Sunstate Mechanical is simply top notch. Joe responded to my initial request within an hour, was at my house 3 hours later, and even had a starting quote prepared. The price for the work I found to be extremely competitive.

Brian and his crew showed up right on time. They were beyond professional and did a fantastic job with the installation. They even gave me a piece of pizza they ordered for lunch! The team was a joy to work with. They were always happy to explain anything I asked, and kept me well informed of the progress.

In the end, Brian fixed several things he found that were not even related to the install, just to make sure the job was done right. What else could you ask for?

Sunstate Mechanical Contractors Inc. is an incredible company! The condensation line on my A/C refused to drain despite my repeated attempts to clear the darned thing, resulting in an overflow of water. Joe himself, the owner, came to my rescue just 1 hour after my call of desperation. I could not be more impressed and grateful for his prompt service. He was thorough while clearing the clog from the line and ensured the pump was clean and functioning prior to his departure. In addition to his expertise, Joe was very kind and friendly. The pricing was beyond fair, especially considering he came out so rapidly. I cannot recommend this company enough! Give them a call for whatever you need, you won’t be disappointed.

Sunstate Mechanical are absolutely one of the best. I have had two new units installed from them, and the work they did was spectacular. The crew was prompt (even called ahead to confirm the appointment), incredibly professional, and they left the area around the air handler somehow cleaner than when they arrived. I have had no issues with my units over the years because Sunstate Mechanical took the time to do it right the first time. Do not hesitate to call them for all your AC needs: service, repair, replacement - you will not regret it.

We had a very successful installation with Sunstate. Another company had offered only to install the unit in a second floor closet rather than the attic where it had been since construction. Sunstate provided an excellent technician who supervised but did mostbof the installation by himself. Equipment carried through the front door, up the stairs and then through a tight opening into the attic space. The old unit removed, the new unit installed and not a scratch on a wall. The unit has performed excellently and questions to the office have always been answered quickly. The service, as well as the installation, could not have been better handled. An anxious start for the hunting for the right contractor but a pleasant and satisfactory ending. Thanks, Sunstate!

I've relied on Sunstate Mechanical for a number of years for all my HVAC repairs and servicing. Several important factors that are important to me and generally the overall customer experience:
1. They are reputable - Good residential AC companies are extremely difficult to find. Many or most will advise you from the start of the call to replace your system, even if only a flange needs to be resoldered.
2. They are always prompt - appointments are easy to make and they have never rescheduled
3. They are friendly and easy to work with. Never any concerns about the staff whatsoever.
4. They know their trade as well as my systems. Their triage always agrees with my expectations.
5. They seem to be reasonable - I don't shop them so I can't compare actual quotes, but they are likely as reasonable as anyone else. Labor, parts, and materials have become pricey everywhere, but I always felt my invoices were fair.
I plan to continue using Sunstate as my source and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Sunstate mechanical is truly the best contractors I have experienced since I moved into my house 30 years ago. I have been dealing with Joe and his crew for over 11 years now. They are a trustworthy, respectful, experienced crew who works with you and gives you a fair value. They just completed a big job replacing my A/C, gas furnance and condenser. They did an excellent job, no short cuts, made sure everything was functional, and cleaned up the area nicely before they left. No pressure to perform unnecessary service. You know when the job is done, you have received top notch professional service at a fair price.

Wow! The final destination project is amazing! Our new install with complete overhaul of the duct work that all of you had to do, I know it took time, but it was sooo worth it! We couldn’t be happier and very cool! Every part of the process was performed to perfection! I just hope our A/C situation wasn’t too much trouble. So here’s a big shout out to JOE, BRIAN and CORBETT for coming through for us. What a job!

Joe is a serious guy who really knows the HVAC business! We bought our home in July 2025. The AC unit is 18 months old, and we had no information on it. Joe was able to find the maker and verify the current warranty info. He then performed a very thorough “health check” on the system. Very happy.

I wish all service companies were as responsive, honest and fair.

Recently hired Local AC to install a new air conditioner. Their salesman Sal was very friendly and gave me a good price compared to other quotes. My old one was broken and they had the new one installed before it got too hot. Couldn't be happier.
