I have used Sunstate for over 20 years and they always come when they say they will and the work is done correctly. They are always courteous and knowledgeable. I have three units and they keep them in perfect shape.

Joe troubleshot our AC issue over the telephone late Tuesday afternoon. Brian and Randy arrived first thing Wednesday morning as promised with the correct parts and had the repair completed quickly. Called Joe Thursday morning for another issue and he came over immediately, troubleshot the problem, went and purchased the needed part, and completed the repair. Great service!

My Central Air was about 12 years old. Leaking. Air up to 79 Degrees. I called Sunstate . They came out at the time they said they would. Checked it out and said in the long run it would cost more to fix. They gave me a good price, very professional and just down to earth. I have told anybody that has trouble with their Air about them. I highly recommend them!!!

Sunstate Mechanical Contractors, Inc. did a great job in installing a new AC unit at my house in May, 2019. The staff is professional, punctual, hardworking. I am very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them for installing AC units.

I highly recommend Sunstate for AC service and repairs. Another company that advertises all over Tampa Bay just kept pumping freon into our units and trying to upsell us on unnecessary things. When it was evident that there was a bigger problem, I looked for another AC repair company and was referred to Sunstate. Sunstate quickly identified the problem and was able to fix it in a timely manner at a fair cost. I've had them come out subsequently for other concerns and they are prompt and honest. And, they never try to upsell you. If you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable AC repair and/or installation company - this is it.

Truly the best Air Conditioning company I've ever dealt with. Joe and Bryan with Randy are phenomenal. They sold and installed a brand new top of the line Trane Air Conditioning system and I've never seen anybody work so hard and do such a good job.

I have used Sunstate Mech. for over 10 years for service and repairs to my AC. Recently they repaired the air handler rather than replace it, saying the repair was much less costly than replacement. Joe and Brian are extremely knowledgeable and are eager to solve problems. They also provide excellent maintenance service as well. I would recommend them highly for all AC needs.

From the owner Joe, to the lead tech Brian to the assisting techs Gabriel and Abel, our AC replacement job was a fantastic experience. Price was fair, the install was clean, efficient with excellent attention to detail. I was even more satisfied by the straightforward honesty of this Sunstate team. When they opened the box of one of the main central AC parts, the back of the unit, which would face the back wall was dented. They came to get me, reported the damage, and told me they were getting a replacement immediately, noting they did not want to install a damaged unit. This took them more time, to travel from Tampa to Lakeland to get the new unit and of course no extra charge for the trouble. The bottom line is though we as consumers may expect this kind of honesty and transparency, we don't always receive it. I'm a fan of Sunstate, and they will have my service business for as long as they want it.

Great job replacing both the condensing unit and air-handler. Moved the air-handler from the attic to the garage and re-designed and installed new duct work to accommodate the move. Works great and no more worries about overflowing drain pan damaging the ceiling and wood floors. Not to mention making it easier to maintain the AH unit. The guys worked through the night to make sure the AC was back on before they left the job. Job was performed in late February, but was already hot and humid. Thanks for a job well done.

I needed a new AC unit and handler installed. Not only were their prices fair, but Brian and Randy came with experience and were so professional. I don’t normally write reviews but they deserve it. We have used this service for two years. Two years ago, after talking to and getting 3 assessments for a new air conditioner, we choose Joe Rosenburger from Sunstate Mechanical for our project. We were impressed by Joe's knowledge of the system we selected and the cost.
The Trane system has been saving us about $25 to $30 every month on our bill these last two years compared to our previous unit. We also signed up for their maintenance program. We have been very happy with their service. Today was especially special. My son's air conditioner broke last night (Hot August 2020), we called this morning and Joe was able to check it, drive across town to get a new motor and fix the fan on the same day! The price was very reasonable. My son and his family were excited and grateful to have the air conditioner taken care of so quickly! Joe and Sunstate, Thank you so much for coming through for us!

I called a few HVAC companies to evaluate and repair the mini split system at my new home. What stood out to me about Sunstate Mechanical was how straightforward they are with pricing and services. If you’ve ever gotten the run around just trying to make an appointment and get hit with extraneous fees even before a technician comes out—then you know what I’m talking about. This company is not that. Our technician Randy was able to come the same day within the 2 hour window provided, and thoroughly evaluated our system. He listened to our concerns, and thankfully found that our problem required an easy fix of flushing the lines to remove any clogs that may have been causing our mini split to leak into the room. In my experience, it’s hard to find a company who is straightforward, honest, timely, and fairly priced. You won’t go wrong hiring these guys.
