Vero Beach Classic Landscapes is the perfect company if you are looking for a locally owned, small business that cares about each yard serviced. Russ, the owner, is on site each visit and available to talk about how the yard is performing and what he will focus on to keep the yard healthy and well maintained. I enjoy that he spends time working on my yard instead of a company that tries to complete it as quickly as possible and misses things. VBCL and Russ truly care and even contacted me before and after the hurricane to see if anything extra needed to be done to protect or clean up the yard. I highly recommend this company if these qualities are important to you!!

We hired Russ for our Florida home in Vero beach, we paid him 6,000 dollars cash towards the landscaping. He seemed responsible & had great ideas. We were constantly lied to from the get go. Lots of promises and under delivers . The problem is , he sounds so genuine that you actually get confused for a min . Unfortunately, the lying got worse. We started calling him out on all of the items he didn’t complete. He conveniently walked away from the job and kept our money we are now out $6, 000 dollars . He then sent us an invoice deducting the things he didn’t do from the first place and actually deducted it from the balance , as if he was crediting us . The work he did was a catastrophe. I would definitely watch out for this guy unless you enjoy babysitting and a listening to a pathological liar . By the way he has no crew either, that he said he had . Very upset that we put our trust in him . He placed the volley ball posts in cement that was above the ground and used a badminton net instead of a volley ball net . Claimed he’d put sand down and didn’t He didn't make the corn hole area or finish the horse shoe area , or the sitting bench and left the lights undone amongst other things . He claims items were stolen out of our garage last min , when we asked him why he wasn’t working? Firstly we didn’t even know he stored them in there, nor did he ask. my workers didn’t see him doing much or storing anything. Just saw Russ Weavers response below. The pictures speak for themselves . We paid he walked. Plain & simple . Two other workers he knows were shocked and helped us all this week to undo what he did and didn’t do. The pictures say it ALL. Now we are trying to find money to complete what he didn’t do. Sad this kind of service exists. Stealing is not professional

We gave him a deposit of 1100 in October and we kept calling

and he never responded to us so we asked him to return deposit
In email said wrote check 11/21 and we still have not gotten check
They said mail is slow but not that slow. That is the biggest lie…the check is in the mail

Told us to wait till end of December
Which will be 40 days to get money back due to holiday mail
Ridiculous!
Very frustrated. I do not trust thus company and would not recommend using them

We contacted Rooted Landscape shortly after purchasing our home, they came out in a very timely fashion and in a very professional way and listened first to what we desired on our piece of property. Having been in Indian River County for a lifetime and having a very clear understanding of what we were looking for made a few suggestions which were like gold. They gave us the landscape plan and we loved it! Better yet it was a quick clear of the HOA and they did all of the work and we have had so many positive comments on the beauty of our back yard. We would recommend Rooted Landscape and their crew without hesitation.
