Comfort Zone installed our air conditioning and heating system several years back. It always seemed right to have them back for regular maintenance or repair if anything were wrong. When they are here for the twice yearly maintenance, I am always amazed at the professionalism and thoroughness of their workers. For instance, we just had the end of winter maintenance performed. The repairman was a gentleman that had been here before. When their workers are good, they hold on to them. He showed me that the UV light that kills germs and mold in my system had burned out. We have a warranty program on the UV light. Before he replaced it he told us that when this unit was built the UV light was installed in a particular area. They have now found that the light could reach a larger area if it were installed in a slightly different location. He installed new wiring to relocate the light and installed a small glass peephole so we could more easily know if the UV light was off or on.

Great people to work with. Jim was very competitive with his pricing and gave me a great deal on the out side compressor and air handler and put in a lot of time and effort to make sure the system was the right size and the duct work was the right size for the unit and the house. His installers worked two 12 hour days relentlessly with no breaks not even a lunch and did a great job. And even put up with me looking over there shoulder and asking a million questions the whole time. We even discovered that Jim and his dad had put in the original unit 30 years ago.

I usually have to clean out my AC drain line at least once a year, so this time I decided to take a more proactive approach. I had Comfort Zone come out and install an iFloPro Solution dispenser to help prevent future blockages. The team was polite, professional, punctual, and easy to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend Comfort Zone for anyone looking to maintain their AC system the right way.

From my first phone call they were so friendly and courteous. And technician was very polite, and checked out everything and maintenance outside and inside including drain line. Eddie and Anthony came right on time, and the team was here for 5 hours with a big job on a very hot day. They installed the new valve that was a big job and was under warranty. They were a real pleasure to have working here.

Danielle (?sp?) came early and listened to my explanation of what was happening with the AC. She opened a panel and found sludge in the drain pan, Cleaned it and the condensate pump. Also did a thorough assessment of the exterior portion of the unit. No previous service person cleaned out the drain pan — they just sold up without treating the source of the problem. First try with this company and will stay with them. Danielle is a great representative for her employer.

This is the AC company you’ve been looking for. Eddie came out ahead of schedule and installed a new condenser motor, which worked on the first try. He even adjusted the capacitor mount to make sure the system was perfect. He then went above and beyond and spent extra time inspecting the air handler, making multiple efficiency upgrades I could do myself, protecting my equipment and saving me money. We were referred to Jim’s company by our neighbor who has used Comfort Zone for 40 years. The professionalism, honesty, and transparency made me a new, lifelong customer. Call them and have peace of mind that they’ll do the right thing and not screw you over (like the first AC company tried to do before we heard about Comfort Zone). Thank you!

After living in our home for 14 years, our AC units finally needing replacing since they were over 20 years old. We had several companies come out to give us quotes. Our tech was Jason Shirey who at the time was only with the company for 6 months. But I never would have known that. Jason was so knowledgeable and took his time to explain all my options, how everything worked, the differences between all my options and what would fit our home/family the best. He answered all my questions and his communication/follow up was top notch. I would highly recommend Comfort Zone and ask for Jason Shirey.

Very happy with service provided. They were outside working during thunderstorm with lightening and kept going until job was complete. The owner stopped by to make sure job was was being done and checked with me on their progress.

As a snowbird everyone warned me of upselling AC companies in Vero. Last year, even though my system was 3 years old, a different company recommended $1800 in service work. I laughed in his face and said I’m not paying you a penny because he was there for 15 minutes!
Comfort Zone was the exact opposite. The tech, I wish remembered his name, spent 30-40 minutes doing a complete system maintenance. Clean and intelligent he said everything was fine but did recommend a system to mitigate mold. Price was fair but I passed since he cleaned the area and will probably do it in the fall. C or fort Zone is professional, honest, and reasonably priced.

I can not say enough good things about Jim Smith & his company. There's no one else that we'll trust with our a/c from here on out. He came out when he said he would, took his time to show and explain everything to us in a straightforward manner, provided us with a very reasonable quote, performed work that no other a/c company did to help fix the problem that they couldn't find, plus he's a very nice, professional guy and also a vet.

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH!!! Had a somewhat complicated air conditioning problem. Asked the receptionist to please send me one of their most experienced technicians. I got Tony. Not only a senior tech but the trainer of other tech's. He measured every pressure, every timing, every speed, every... and at the end he found the issue and solved it. As cordial as he could be. More knowledgeable that I could have imagined. Comfort Zone is now on my favorite list.

Our old HVAC system was 22 years old and worked well....until it didn't. Comfort Zone sent out their technician Grayson who gave us a temporary fix until we could get a new system ordered.
He presented the various HVAC options we could choose from.
During the entire process he patiently answered all our questions and concerns from the time of the repair through the installation and even after. He sure is much more than a technician. I hope he is well paid for all his knowledge.
