Reviews of local pros in Wellington, Florida

Excellent work and consistently reliable. Highly recommend this company for your electrical needs. Bernard & Victor were our technicians. They were both very efficient, professional & left no mess at all.

This is a cautionary tale, I used this Company, (Simon electric LLC) To have a little electrical repair done at my home. After I inquired, They informed me, That the cost would be $75 for the visit and $125 per hour. When they arrived at my house, I noticed that unexpectedlyThey had sent two men, they came in looked at the switch, made a slight repair that might’ve lasted five minutes.

Considering how quickly the repair was made, I did not expect to pay much above the $75 that they normally charge for the visit. However, when the fellow came back with the bill, the amount requested to be paid was $325.
Needless to say that I was shocked. I asked for an explanation. their rational was That they had sent two men at $125 each, plus the $75 for the visit, the total amounted to $325.

I obviously told the man who gave me the bill that this was unacceptable, he picked up the phone and called his office. First I spoke with the office manager, whoever she was, explained the situation and rather than being understanding, she spent the next 10 minutes trying to rationalize the $325. She had the explanation perfectly prepared, as if she had done this many times before.

However Seeing that she was failing at convincing me, she handed the phone over to the owner who spent an additional 15 minutes, trying to convince me that I didn’t understand why he was charging that much.
When I persisted, and I told him, in no uncertain terms that I would not pay that bill. He first tried to lower it to $275 and eventually settled at $225.
Which as we speak I still think is Exorbitant for a five minute visit.

I want to warn all of You, that this is not an honest firm. Other firms are willing to forego The cost of the visit and charge only the price of the repair.

Simon electric LLC is not. They will try to get as much of your hard earned cash as they can get their hands on.
Dealing with them has been a terrible experience., And I do not recommend them to anyone else who needs an electric repair company.
As I said earlier, this is a cautionary tale. Stay away from Simon. LLC..

The owner’s response is sheer nonsense and lies. He is right they spent more than five minutes here, but not in my house. They were downstairs in the truck. The young man simply rewired a light switch which does not take more than five minutes, which in fact is the amount of time they spent at my house. Secondly, they did say that it was $125.00 per hour, but never mentioned that they were sending two men, therefore $250.00 to rewire a light switch. This is simple robbery at its best. Completely unreliable and fraudulent company. Don’t use them.

Antoine and John were fantastic. We thought the job would at least take two days with everything that needed to be done around the house and they finished it in one day. They were also extremely kind and friendly with our four children running around while they were trying to get work done. They were very thorough to ensure our concerns were addressed and fixed appropriately. We would definitely recommend them.

Needed a broken ceiling fan replaced asap. They were here in less than 48 hours.
Did a very good and professional job.
Price was also a good deal.

I recently contacted Simon Electric to replace an outside breaker box that was way beyond its life expectancy. I called on a Sunday expecting an answering machine. Well, Stacey did answer and scheduled a technician for me a couple of days later. Ethan came to the house and did the work and all is working well. Ethan was friendly, courteous and most knowledgeable. The other person I dealt with in the office was Casey, who handles the payments. I cannot say enough about Stacy, Casey and Ethan. Simon Electric is fortunate to have these three great employees. If I ever need electric service in the future, I know who to call.

Victor and Jared showed up on time and were very professional.
The work was done quickly, and there was no mess when they left.
Casey from customer service was very polite and professional as well. We give them five stars

The office personal (Kennedy, Stacy) were excellent in handling my sub-permit and explaining the process. They were very responsive. The electricians (Ethan, Jerry) did in excellent job in the installation. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic service by Simon Electric, Bernard was AMAZING, a 10/10 on all levels: professional, knowledgeable, very helpful. We had an outdoor fan and laundry room ceiling light replaced, and if we need any other assistance with anything electrical, we will definitely use Simon Electric again (and ask for Bernard).

We needed a light moved and pendant chandelier hung up in our kitchen. I called around to a few places but nobody could give me a quote over the phone or have a decent turn around time. Simon electric delivered excellent quality. Ethan and Terrence were amazing, punctual, and professional. I highly recommend them and Simon Electric. If we have any electrical needs in the future, we won't hesitate to reach out to Simon Electric and ask for Ethan and Terrence. Thank you!

My name is John Sullivan, I'm on the Board of Directors for the Evergreen Condo Assoc. In Delray Beach FL.Our building is a three story concrete structure. We recently employed Simon Electric to remove all the old lighting fixtures in the building and replace them with flushed mounted LED fixtures. This amounted to replacing approx.120 fixtures. Simon Electric was outstanding they completed the job in one and a half days.Starting with the office staff Stacey and Casey who were outstanding they were able to get all the materials for the job in a timely manner and at a fair price . The work crews consisting of Brian,Jordan,James,Danny,David,Donny,Ethan, and Antwane were all very professional and couteous finished the job in record time. Many of the owners in our Association have nothing but rave reviews for this Company and the Job they did.

Victor and Robert get a high recommendation here. They were kind, and made us feel safe. They worked quickly to get the job done and friendly. I would have them come back again.

Victor and Robert did amazing jobs installing our ceiling fans and light fixtures. Super nice and very professional

Bernard and Caesar did a great job and were very neat! I called in the morning and had service the same day! The new fan is so quiet you don't even know its on.

Bernard and Victor were fantastic. I had a GFI outlet that needed replacement and it turned out multiple outlets were affected and needed replacement. Bernard and Victor worked hard to triage the issue and fix it as quickly as possible. They also came out as a same day call which was amazing! Thank you for getting my internet back online.

Robert and Antoine were AMAZING. They installed all of our fans, ring security equipment and a 300-piece chandelier. Always so professional and friendly. Will only work with them for any of our electrician needs!

Danny and Albert were awesome! They arrived on time and the work was done beautifully. I had limited attic space to wire the fan and really didn't want the wire running from the fan to the outlet. They worked and figured it out by cutting a very small hole in the ceiling. After the install they cleaned and closed up the hole... I could barely notice. Very little clean up for me!

Our condo had a major electrical fire in our meter room on July 3.2025. Simon responded immediately. The repair was very complex needing the cooperation of county inspectors, manufacturers and FPL. Rafael worked tirelessly to coordinate everything. The office staff assisted in finding parts and setting up inspections. I would highly recommend Simon Electric. Thank you Simon.

Great company and staff! I needed a chandelier installed in my foyer area so I contacted Simon Electric. I spoke with Casey and she was able to give me a price and scheduled me right away. James and Antwan were on time, friendly and did an amazing and efficient job given that my ceiling is high. They brought all the equipment needed and even cleaned up the dust afterwards. I’ll definitely be using them for any future electrical needs.

UPDATE 6-27-24: Emergency last night! New electrical box needed. Sounded like it was going to start a fire. I called at 6 pm, they actually asked if I wanted someone to fix it then. I told them no worries, I had only fridge, fan, and tv hooked up. I unplugged everything else. Next day(today) the boss and two awesome employees worked their butts off to fix our problem. My hubby and I were so worried. We are ever so grateful for the great work and wonderful customer service. All of them had smiles on their faces. The two employees were so respectful to us and the boss. Wonderful! The boss was very kind to them and it felt like they all care about eachother which makes it great for the customers to see. So Bernard and Cesar, you guys were amazing! So was the boss :)

Needed to have my home set up for generator. The Simon Electric team of Brian, Danny and James did an excellent job setting up a new sub panel along with exterior 50amp plug for the generator switch to accommodate the whole home portable generator I purchased. Definitely recommend.

Eric and Cesar came to install a chandelier in our dining room and were the utmost professionals… I would highly recommend Simon Electric if you are looking for professional quality electrical work! Great company! Thank you for a job well done!
