I recently had the experience of working the Team at Your Crawl Space Guys. I seldom write reviews, but want to take the time to express my appreciation. I had issues with a home I recently purchased on the Oregon Coast. They not only fully inspected the property and walked me through what repairs were needed, but Rich and Luke took the time explain the costs and rationale behind the work that needed to be done. We had Your Crawl Space Guys (YCSG) clean out the crawl space and basement of our c. 1900 farm house and pump house and are very pleased with the results.

Partly, our intent was to keep out the rodents, squirrels and snakes that were finding their way into the basement and upstairs into the house.YCSG removed old black vapor barrier and installed new; repaired vents that needed screening; secured insulation around ducting as needed; sealed holes around the foundation; and poured cement as needed to fill gaps to help critter-proof the space.

Colton visited first to scope out/quote the project and we highly recommend him--personable, knowledgable, quick/efficient; delivers on his word. Rich scheduled a 2- person crew after we accepted the quote; he also responded in a timely manner to our questions that arose later . . . great to talk with him and gain a better understanding of what to expect when crew arrives.

Finally, we really appreciated and enjoyed meeting Artemio and Jose, who arrived to perform the work--they're a wonderful team! This (unpopular) project of tending to the crawl space/basement/cleaning out old pump house had long been on our to-do list awaiting a solution. After a full day with Artemio and Jose on site last Saturday, we witnessed an impressive resolution. Thank you all, YCSG team! We're grateful.

The crew sent by Your Crawlspace Guys were courteous, thorough, extremely careful to prevent damage to the house while doing their work, and, ultimately, a most friendly & effective team of experienced professionals.
I appreciate so much their attention to detail, vigilance to spot other troublesome conditions that may have been missed in the initial inspection, and care to leave the house & property clean and safe when they left.

Wanted to add a battery backup to my Sump Pump in my crawl space so naturally called Your Crawl Space Guys who had installed it last year and done a fantastic job. Great all around professional job from communication to actually doing the work. Very happy. Highly recommend them

The work was completed impeccably! The bid had all the components broken out so you could choose what to get done to meet your budget requirements. We had everything done and the house now smells fresh and is staying warm. The team was professional and kept everything clean. They even covered the exterior concrete path as they were removing the debris from under our 40+ year old home.

We are very glad that we chose Your Crawl Space Guys for our dry rot repair. They came out for an inspection and the estimate provided a detailed list of the work to be done. The team showed up on time both days and kept us informed of progress. They did a great job with the repair and thoroughly cleaned up when finished. We are pleased and would use them again for a future project. Highly recommended.

Great company! The cost was exactly what they said it would be and they did the work exactly on the schedule they said they could do it. And, they did everything they said they were gonna do and I’m really happy with the quality.

As a note, I hired these guys after having another restoration company spend 5 months working on the crawlspace and with no major progress for the last 3 months. I was told the project would take longer cause of the conditions they had to work in and they charged more and more the longer the job took.

After Your Crawlspace guys took over the job, they did the job in less than a day…

Aldolfo cane first and then stevie These guys did a great job. Very friendly. They taped off the inside of my home to keep it clean from any debris. I had a mess in my crawl space from rats. These guys cleaned it all up. And reinforced all my vents. Put new vapor barrier down, ripped out old insulation.They even found a leak.I didn't know about that was coming from my shower. They charged a reasonable price.
They took after photos of everything. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed some work done in my crawl space. I decided to call Terra Firma to come and give me an estimate. They quoted me just under $18,000!!! I then told the guy that I’d need to get back to them because I’d like to find other quotes. He immediately said he would throw in a 10% discount if I took it within the end of December. I told him I still need to look around, so he added another 5% discount and brought the total amount to just under $15,000. It still way too much. I told him that I needed it fixed, not remodeled.

My son then gave me the contact information for The Crawl Space Guys and they immediately came out and quoted me $3,600 to fix what I needed and fix it so the pebbles didn’t reoccur.

They are wonderful and made things a hell of a lot more doable for me and for what I needed done, not what they wanted to sell me.

Call them! And just a side note, if you decide to hire them, once they’re done and you pay them with a check, they will give you a discount as well

And now, I’m going to leave a review for Terra Firma. They will try and take advantage of you and they do go big!

The work team showed up and got right to work. They seemed to work really well together. While some were making sure the area was well protected from dirt and mud, the others got their tools ready. Then they all jumped in and got to work. They were very efficient and the work looks great. I had another contractor come the next day and said how nice it looked. Thank you so much.

I hired Your Crawl Space Guys to do an extensive project under my 1930s home. Addition of a foundation wall along one side; replacement of posts and piers; dry rot repair; installation of vapor barrier. Larry was awesome during the project estimation and planning phase. He was creative in coming up with a plan that addressed my needs while staying within my budget. He was always focused on the true needs of the home, not on upselling me or finding things that didn't need to be done. Very straightforward, honest, and knowledgeable. When it came time to do the work, the crew was exactly on time and precisely on budget. They made improvements to the home's drainage that weren't even in the plan, at no extra cost. It was clear that everything they did, it was important to them that it be done the right way. Every night when they were done (they worked during a rainy, muddy winter week) the job site was clean and organized. They were super respectful of the home and property during the whole project. One day during the project it was raining extremely hard, along with strong wind, and you couldn't tell the difference in their workflow. They just kept going as if the weather wasn't a factor for them. Seth, the foreman, was excellent at communicating project progress, answering questions, and solving problems as they came up. When the project was done, they left the area around the home looking better then when they started. Bottom line: I've worked with quite a few contractors on fixing up my home, and Your Crawl Space Guys are the best people I've hired for any project. If you need work done under your home, I wouldn't go with anyone else.

Edits. Larry came to my home to try to remedy the issue. He and another teammate came over and reviewed the work & the flooding issue. Dug the trench deeper & placed the sump with water level 15inches deeper than the top of slab. This will hopefully rectify the situation and stop the water from coming into my home. Larry was very patient in reviewing the situation & providing possible solutions. Following is the older review which was written before I was contacted to get an appointment set-up for Larry to come out to my home. * older review: Their team came to “fix” a sump in my crawlspace. Said they will call back about replacing a non functioning sump pump & then did not call back. Over the weekend I had my daylight basement completely flooded. I called them back & they told me their team communicated to them that I didn’t want to “spend the money “ to replace the broken pump. I told them that was wrong information given to them. & that I do need this fixed. They said they will call me back with how to move forward. Again no call back. It is a week now & there is still no call back & I have left them yet another message. On the day the flooding happened, I went & bought a sump pump , crawled into the crawlspace & installed it into the sump, but there was less than 2-3inches of water in there. Which means the sump was not installed correctly or at the lowest point. Hence causing the flooding. Still no response from them over a week later.

I would rate 10 stars if I could! Everyone at the Childers Brothers was wonderful and the process was outstanding! Tristan came back out 9 months after my install to make sure my house was still level!

John stopped by to check to make sure everything was good and it is. Childers did a great job. No more foundation worries.

Michael, from Childers brothers came out and fixed a problem we were having. At this time, it seems to be taken care of. We really appreciate him and his team. We highly recommend Childers Brothers for all your needs!

We use Childers Brothers to have our house leveled back in January. I will say so far a month and a half later it seems like it’s doing fine as far as the actual house leveling goes but my review is more about the business as a whole and my experience from start to finish.

When we met with the salesman we were sold a process that I was told involved their entire team that was part of the justification in the cost of the project. That their entire team would be there. I was also told that I would be called about a month before the project date to confirm everything since we scheduled it about three months in advance. We never received a confirmation all (the start of a lack of communication), and when the day came to have our house level, a crew of three guys showed up. The sales technician told us that there would be a person there per helical pier they installed, so that was kinda a shock to us. We also thought maybe the company would call a day before to confirm that they were showing up but, again, that didn’t happen.
Unfortunately, it was snowing quite heavily the two days they were working on our house and they had to cut some concrete to finish the job because of that they had to wait a couple of days and come back to pour concrete but this was done in below freezing and incredibly dry temperatures. Because of the conditions when it was poured, the concrete cracked and crumbled over the course of the weekend.

Because I requested an itemized invoice I was told I had to speak to a supervisor named Michael. He was not always easy to reach and frequently didn’t respond to my text, but when he did, he always had to come over to my house to discuss anything. I told him about our experience with the sales technician, and he stated that’s not their training and how they do things and then provided me with the same kinda general estimate info the sales tech gave us when we signed up.
So not a lot of customer satisfaction at that point, he did ensure me that they would make the concrete job right which they did. However, during this process, there were times that I reached out to Michael and received absolutely no response until I called their office several days later. He would also tell me that their crew is going to show up to come back and replace the concrete and would tell me it would be Wednesday or Thursday of next week, but then nothing would happen. I will admit one time it was because of the weather however, this is again just poor communication.

The work they did seemed OK but if I’m looking at the overall experience that I’m not exactly thrilled. Especially given the cost.
