Josh provided excellent service for tree assessment and works with a great team for tree work. He was responsive to communications and quick to schedule a time to come assess the trees. I enjoyed walking around with him during the assessment to learn about the types of trees on my property, their health, and any tree maintenance needed. In the ended, we ended up removing one large (mostly dead) and two smaller trees, and pruning a large water oak. The coordination with the team for tree work was excellent, and I'll continue to call on Josh for regular tree assessments and work. Highly recommend!

Josh is very knowledgeable and shared sincere, frank advice on how to deal with our water oak. He was able to use a probe to get a reading on the tree's interior density, which it turns out is almost zero, i.e. the trunk is hollow. He coordinated with Decatur's city arborist to arrange permission for us to take the tree down ASAP and submit for removal permit after it's safely on the ground. I recommend him highly.

Working with Josh was a pleasure. His expertise and knowledge was extremely helpful in assisting me with Brookhaven city codes with regards to the trees on my property. Josh even offered to attend my netting to ensure there was an expert in attendance to support me during discussions with the tree canopy on my property. Highly recommend Josh’s services!

Josh was excellent. His response to my initial request was fast. His service was exemplary. He knows what he’s doing and submitted all of the paperwork to the city for tree removal. We hired Josh to assess a tree of concern in the setback of our lot, after dealing with a different company that ghosted us. He was instrumental in helping us navigate the process with the city of Atlanta, and addressing our concerns regarding the long term health of the tree. We only regret not hiring Josh first! He would have saved us months of frustration.

These are left behind our back fence within our property line after having paid for their services in full. Debris thrown over the back fence already damaged by hurricane. They didn’t have to haul it away, FEMA would have. .You be the judge.

I had received 3 estimates to remove 3 very tall large in diameter trees in my yard. All were located close to the house and other large trees so a little precarious. They arrived on time it took one day per tree, they did an awesome job, removed all debris and did very little damage to surrounding landscape and lighting. I would highly recommend this company.

Just contracted Southern Tree Pros for the second time. Both times included large trees that presented challenging removal issues based on proximity to buildings and healthy vegetation. This round I had two large dead trees on the property, one leaning towards power lines, one in the middle of healthy smaller trees. The job was scheduled quickly (next day) and I’d describe the process as surgical. The guys did a great job, no damage to property or vegetation. Team was polite and professional. Strongly recommend.

I had a positive experience with the Boutte team of Juan, Brian, and Julio. They were punctual, pleasant, and competent. They responded well to feedback. Overall, I would gladly allow them to service my home and yard again in the future.

They were good at getting tree fixed and John was knowledgeable, but a lot of sawdust on roof and window sills. A day in cold blowing and sweeping sawdust out of and away from house. They didn’t clean up very well especially on roof. A little disappointed given the higher price. Expected better but might still use them again and see how they do given they were professional overall. Update - They reached out to fix a branch for follow up which was professional. I hope to use again maybe for a planting and will update review after that.
