Gunnison Tree Specialist removed 2 trees from our front yard and trimmed back branches from the utility lines and roof. We arranged for 5 estimates. Gunnison's was one of the 2 lowest and they were one of the most professional that came out to the house. I felt that I could trust them. They did not let me down. About a week later, a 4 man crew came out to the house and carried out the job exactly as arranged. They were even kind enough to deliver a bit of the mulch to neighbor. I would strongly recommend giving them a shout out if you need trees trimmed back or removed. Thank you Gunnison for making it a good experience!

I do not recommend hiring Gunnison. Three years ago I contacted them for a tree removal in our park. The arborist met to provide a quote but never responded to follow up calls. Fast forward to today, I contact them again (limited options since my job requires a crane). This time they booked the job but then canceled FIVE times. The only contact I received the whole time was text messages from the arborist. The only time a manager contacted me was after I canceled the contract, and even then, he just emailed me. No one ever picked up a phone to call and apologize for the terrible service. In the end I went with Boutte, and their service was excellent.

After reading so many reviews, I am surprised by the experience by others. A family member referred me and I thought it was worth a shot. Matt came out within days (Thanks to Brittany arranging).

Matt walked our HOA community and saw the locations that needed the work done. I received the estimate within 1 business day which was reasonable. The scope of work included cutting back trees, with many of a very large size. The on site supervisor that came out who recently started with them was also awesome. The only concern I had was the large tree limbs falling on our property, which they promptly changed their approach to remove them along the side of the homes instead.

I had no date changes, was invoiced quickly and they were very flexible in questions on estimates, confirmation of dates, and us are reducing the scope of work while on site. Matt returned back to see the section we did not need done due to a new development area near our community already removing the trees. They offered a reduced price that made it reasonable as well.

I would highly recommend them for your future needs, the stump grinder took an extra day or two but was resolved within the same week.

Erlix and the entire crew did an amazing job removing two tress from very tricky areas near my fence line and very close to our home. They were all professional and courteous. Bonus points for coming on time and getting the job done quickly. Cleaned everything up when they were done as well. Still waiting on the final bill but the estimate was reasonable and they performed the work that was listed on it. I'd highly recommend Gunnison Tree Specialist for your tree removal needs.

Gunnison Tree Service did an excellent job removing my trees in the backyard. They were very professional and efficient. The representative that came on site to give me an estimate was very knowledgeable and took into account my concerns that I had. We were trying to remove trees from around our pool to promote having more sun and to prevent debris and leaves from falling in. He took into account the position of the sun and which trees would need to be removed to get the best results. I would definitely recommend Gunnison for your tree removal/trimming needs.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Gunnison Tree Specialists. From a quick quote (which was the best price of any I considered) to delivering on all of their promises on the timely removal of a massive oak tree hanging over our neighbor's house to cleaning up all of the debris, I was truly amazed at their efficiency. They gave me a great price and then executed on their quote flawlessly. I would highly recommend Gunnison for their prices, quality of work, and timeliness.

Like many, I shopped around when getting a quote for my tree pruning, but it had to be relatively fast as it was starting to hug my house. Gunnison was one of the best prices, and they explained everything they were going to do, and why. They listened to my concerns about the tree itself, and left me feeling very confident in my choice. They had to reschedule a few times due to circumstances beyond their control, but when the work was done, it was done FAST. In and out in no time and they did exactly what was promised. My tree looks so much better, is no longer hugging my house, and I am quite happy.

I’ve hired Gunnison Tree Specialists twice. The first job was the removal of a dead tree. The second involved trimming some pine limbs sagging over the roof of my house. On both occasions, Jonathan arrived punctually to assess the job and offer an estimate. His attention to detail included making arrangements with the City for a fifteen-minute lane closure, planning for a Gunnison manager to be on-site and help direct the traffic, and contacting Georgia Power for a line drop. Nothing seemed left to chance. Though access to my property is difficult for trucks, and posed some problems, the four-man crew worked very courteously and efficiently on both occasions, with results exactly as promised. I was also happy with Gunnison’s pricing, and attention to doing the work as economically as possible. It’s a very agreeable company to work with.

Gunnison Tree Specialists did a great job with our community from walking the property, having competitive pricing, identifying trees with issues, to the crew going back to walk the property with me to finish fine details with no hesitation. They were responsive, accountable, and provided a great service. My interaction with the office staff and crew was also great with exceptional follow up. I was very pleased with our first experience on a rather large tree pruning and removal project throughout our Condominium Association.

Gunnison was prompt and professional from start to finish. Their price was by far the best, and their attention to detail was super. David especially went out of his way to ensure that both my neighbor and I were satisfied with the job down to pressure washing my neighbor's driveway to remove tire tracks from the heavy equipment that was used. I would absolutely recommend them as they had the best prices and top notch service.

We had 2 very large trees that were joined at the base. They had a nasty stress fracture in them. I got four bids that were very far apart. One tree company tried to bring in a 1-ton crane to remove the trees. They were all set up and realized that the owner had miscalculated the length needed to reach these trees. They were short. I called Gunnison at that point. Yes, I had to wait to get the job done. They were the low bidder and provided stump grinding service, which no one else did. They gave me great customer service too. I've included some photos to show how big a job this was. They did a great job & took care of everything! Thanks so much!!

We decided on Gunnison after getting 5 quotes. They were in the mid range of the quotes. Matt is very professional, low key, and did not try to up-sell us on additional unnecessary work, which we appreciate.

We had 2 huge pine trees, one dead and one dangerously leaning, that needed to be removed. Gunnison was prompt and efficient throughout the entire process, from giving us a quote to grinding the stumps. The actual work was seamless, quick, and clean. The entire crew was excellent. Also, the ladies in the office were wonderful in providing information and following up with details and scheduling.

Great experience from start to finish. Great results on the jobs they handled at my house. I needed someone we could trust and was referred to Gunnison by a friend after we had called two other companies. The others were slow to respond and didn't seem to be honest, but Gunnison was completely different. They did great work, gave us some ideas, and saved us some money in the process. Gunnison removed a dead pine from our yard and also trimmed several trees along our driveway. Everybody we worked with at Gunnison was professional and responsive, and they made the process easy from beginning to end. They were quick to come out and give us a quote and answer questions, they made the permitting process easy, their crew did a great job on the day they were here, and they cleaned up our yard at the end of the project. In addition, their price was the lowest of the four quotes that we received. I definitely recommend working with Gunnison for tree removal.

Great price + exceptional service! The entire team arrived at my property on time and promptly got to work. It was a big job at they were in and out in two hours. Moving into a new (old) home, we have had to deal with numerous contractors and companies across all disciplines. Gunnison was the easiest to work with. They are awesome at communication and get things done exactly the way they say that they will. Their team was obviously very experienced and were able to take down several large trees situated within feet of our home without any problem. They were in and out very quickly and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using Gunnison again.

Everyone I worked with was pleasant and professional, and I am very happy with the results. I talked to two other tree removal companies along with Gunnison. My Gunnison sales rep that gave my estimate was knowledgable and I felt took a 'big picture', long range view of how best to address my requests and questions. I had a large tree in back that had to be cut and carried over the house. They came with the crane and did a great job in just a few hours. I also had some other limb removal and pruning work done. They picked up the logs within 2 days.

Ga power contracted with this company to remove trees. They drove a truck across my driveway and ruined it! I've been waiting over 4 months for someone to repair it. Mind you it took 2 months to remove 5 trees! That's after I called and called for it to be done.
You can forget about anyone from an office to answer the phone or return a voice or email! Just absolute terrible customer service!

The power company notified us that they’d have to clear the lines. No problem. When the Gunnison crew arrived, my husband asked them to only take the bare minimum of of our giant, full, dense and gorgeous magnolia. What they did, was butcher it. When I arrived home, they were in our yard, away from the power lines and had hacked off countless unnecessary limbs which were nowhere near the lines. The tree is in shock and looks horrible. The crew was arrogant and the person who came to follow up on my complaint was, as well. We understand that they need to clear the lines, but they have no right to destroy other parts of the tree. Do NOT use this service.
