Plumbing reviews in Atlanta, Georgia

We were referred to APG by a friend... and very glad we were! We had to have a natural gas line replaced (due to the old one being cut while removing the concrete). Chad came out to the house right on time and promised to be back two days later at 8:00... and sure enough, he and Corey showed up as promised and replaced the pipe. They are friendly, professional, and respectful of coming and going in and out of our house.

EDIT: Well this is a first for me! Original glowing review at the bottom. Going to start by saying Nash continues to be a good, straightforward guy…COREY on the other hand, might be too prideful for his own good. So a year later, I found a wet spot in my ceiling. I call these guys back because I quite enjoyed their work. Nash and another gentleman showed up. Turned out that the wet spot in my garage was likely caused by a leak from the roof. $250 diagnostic and a hole in my ceiling, fine, whatever. They also mentioned on the way out that my water heater is old and is crucially in need of replacing. Fine, I like these guys, I’ll do my research and have them service.
I go upstairs when they leave and what should I find but that same tub that was leaking last year is now leaking again! I’d been giving baths to my son in that tub with no issue all year. So I call the plumbers back with this new issue, hoping that they’d come back and just simply reverse what they did to make this happen in the first place. Good ole Corey on the phone first suggested I’d have to pay ANOTHER $250 diagnostic since it was a “separate visit,” and $700 total for the valve (which was $600 when we first spoke about it right after.)
I wasn’t suggesting that Nash broke the dang stem on purpose to get more business, but Corey sure as heck wouldn’t budge on the notion that maybe his guys put too much stress on my water system and exacerbated an issue that they maybe never fixed in the first place. Needless to say, I called someone who said they’d charge me a third of the price and I will also be working with them on a nice $3000-$6000 gig to replace our water heater. Thanks for the suggestion, guys!
If I service a place, I leave it as close to 1 as it was when I got there. Apparently that costs extra with “the Guild.”
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m copying and pasting what I put in their online survey because the man was that good: Nash was straightforward with me, fixed the problem in a second [edit: actual time was 30 minutes,] and even did a further demo diagnostic after I asked. The other guys will try to tell you that you need to spend $1800 to replace the entire valve system, even when you’re explaining that it’s one bad stem. I will be coming back to the Guild versus the other guys going forward. -
The work looked prifessional and the workers were very efficient, worked all day and cleaned up when finished.
Very courteous. -
Corey was super responsive in all communications (much more so than the other plumbers we reached out to). He was upfront and honest, and was willing to work hard and be flexible in order to earn your business. You can tell he comes from a family heritage of work in this business as he is very knowledgeable and loves this line of work. He takes a lot of pride in his company and its name. His installation team was very professional. His pricing was very competitive. I’m extremely happy with the unit we had installed and confident in the work they did. I would highly recommend!

Corey came out on New Year’s Day morning while my basement was filling up and professionally managed the exterior leaky pipe. Water was back on 6 hours later with a team of 3. Atlanta Plumbers Guild has helped the condo several times now. Always good work.

My mom's house experienced a gas leak at her T-line, which led to the gas being turned off until it could be repaired. I contacted The Plumbers Guild that evening, and Corey sent someone out the very next day. The necessary part was ordered, repairs were made, and the gas was successfully restored. The customer service and quality of service were excellent! I would definitely use The Plumbers Guild again and refer them to others as well.

Jessi and Abraham came out and fixed our plumbing from a recent botched renovation. They were quick to respond, very professional, provided solid work, answered all of our questions, and addressed all of our concerns. They gave us peace of mind that our plumbing is sound and secure. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys!

They have been able to come out the next day, arrive on time, and complete the job. Great experience with frustrating household emergencies.

Use these guys! Our water line ruptured on a Saturday night. Corey at The Plumbers Guild came by on a Sunday to inspect and give an estimate. The big corporate plumbers came by late Monday, but Corey's estimate was better. His team took excellent care of our landscaping, and their work was perfect. They communicated with us about every step. They even scoped our sewer line for basically no charge and checked on a few other issues, which made us feel like we were in great hands. High quality people, high quality materials, high quality work, for a great price. Highly recommend.

I’ve used the plumber’s guild 4 or 5 times now between a rental property and most recently my home in Marietta. The work has always been fast and very clearly explained. My plumber also educated me about what to do if a similar problem pops up in the future. I will definitely be using them again.

Corey and his team did a trenchless sewer line replacement for us last year. Very efficiently and professionally done and most importantly we didn't have to tear up our entire driveway. Would highly recommend.

The Plumber’s guild is stellar. Very high customer service and knowledge for a plumbing company. We have used them for two houses and two different businesses and they have been exceptional every time. They take the time to explain everything, communicate well, and work quickly, which is exactly what you want from a plumber. We recommend them to others all the time. Thanks for the great work!

I was referred to The Plumbers Guild by another vendor. I initially contacted Corey for a leak in our main water lines at one of our mixed use properties. He and his crew responded quickly and executed the work fast and very efficiently. Their whole team were mindful, quick, and good at their job. They are now our main vendor for plumbing and I strongly recommend them.
