Hakim was our technician in the East Cobb area today and what a perfectionist! Very kind and professional, on time, extremely passionate about his work. He noticed that our previous garbage disposal (installed just last month by a different company and charged us as a brand new part) was actually used!!! He showed us the silicone bonding all over it meaning we were scammed by that previous Plumbing company. Hakim actually removed the faulty part, left to Home Depot to purchase a brand new top of the line garbage disposal in box and came right back to install. No more leaks under the sink and better garbage disposal than ever before. He also assisted with a hot water tank issue, and even removed a very corroded metal bar/pipe which is now scheduled for repair ASAP. We highly recommend this company and this technician. Very trustworthy, friendly, experienced.

The service was great. I called and spoke with Hakeem around 2 and he made it to me by 5 even though he had 2 customers in front of me. He was very knowledgeable, explained and showed me what was going on and proceeded to fix the issue. Service was excellent! I had three previous plumbers out and 6 weeks later the shower was still not repaired until Hakeem showed up. I was told by the previous plumbers that they may have to cut the wall out to make the repair. H & L plumbing simply ordered the part and had it fixed within minutes of the part arriving. I called Hakeem about replacing a gate valve as I was in the midst of trying to do it myself.

He was too busy with other calls to handle my issue at the time, but he generously talked me through what I needed to do anyways. Over the course of 2 days he spent probably 45 minutes of his time on the phone or texting with me as to what I needed to do.

Who does that, man?! What. A. Guy.

In the end, I did end up reaching the height of my comfort level and called in another plumber, but I can't overstate how much I appreciated Hakeem's guidance that he gave to me at his own expense.

Hakeem is a miracle worker!!! I moved into my house almost a month ago and the water hasn’t been on. The service had already been connected from the water company but still didn’t work inside. The water company came out more than three times, even the same day as Hakeem, and didn’t fix the issue, but was still sending a bill. We called Hakeem and GOD! Hakeem came on time, was kind, professional, and knowledgeable (he pointed out where the issue was within a minute of getting out of his truck and shaking my hand). He found that the water wasn’t turned on from the street. Thankfully, it turned out to be a simple and quick fix, but it took the right person to do the job. Hakeem was great! I had a late night emergency with my toilet. Hakeem was able to come out within 30 minutes. He was very professional and friendly and had the parts on hand for replacement. He also was very clean with the job. Would definitely call again and recommend.

I haven’t had hot water in weeks and thought the problem was with my water heater based on the diagnosis of a different plumber. Of course it wasn’t because that would be too easy, but Coty was thorough and tracked down the issue to some messed up plumbing in my bathroom walls. He kept me updated the whole time he was here and was very professional. Got everything resolved and now I don’t have to take cold showers in the cold weather! Excellent service!
