We found Israel and his business on the NextDoor app and hired them to do a few small siding and repair jobs to the exterior of our home. We were impressed with the speed and quality of the work they did, so when we needed to get our large back deck on our house torn down and rebuilt, we turned to them again for the job. We had a very short deadline of when we needed it done for the sale of our home, but they came through big time. The deck looks fantastic. Not only did they get it done in less than a week, but they were very affordable. I’ll use Israel and his crew for any job we have in the future. Highly recommend!

Israel and his team did an amazing job with the fixes/painting me and my wife needed done and exceeded our expectations. His prices weren’t a second guess to us after seeing his work done on our first day working with him. His communication is very thorough and he is a man of his word. He has definitely gained new customers from us if we ever need anything else done to home that is in their field of expertise. Thanks Israel!

Reasonable price, will come back for touch up and try to get it right. Good crew with attention to detail, and takes specific instruction. Israel is a really good guy!

Working with Israel to paint our entire exterior was great. He was very responsive, knowledgeable, and adaptive when we wanted to make changes to the plan. We had some unique aspects of our job : replacing screened in porch , repairing trim work and siding, painting some metal window frames etc. And his team handled everything beautifully. He was also the most competitive of three quotes we got so working with him is a no brainer. Highly recommend

In a time of urgent need, we had trouble finding a contractor who responded in a timely fashion and completed the work they said they were going to. We reached out to Israel at the recommendation of our local friends, and we are sure glad we did. Israel has a fantastic “customer first” demeanor and was a pleasure to work with. He answered all my inquiries in a timely fashion and had his crew there when he said they were going to. They went above and beyond to handle our projects , which included replacement of old wood brick moulding and rotted fascia / soffit, sealing and painting the house, staining our play gym, and repairing our rotted window. Israel’s responsiveness was truly remarkable and the very few concerns we had were addressed in short time. Cant recommend him and his team highly enough and I look forward to working with him on our future renovations.

What a wonderful honest man is Israel.
Very pleasant and very professional manner to discuss what I needed. We had at least 8 quotes from all the contractors He is most affordable price for our budget All the team members are wonderful to work with. He make my ugly townhouse into a brand new one. I’m very happy with their professional paint job. House Painting Plus is best. Now and then it’s hard to find a honest hard working painting contractors.
Take my words for it , you won’t regret!!!
Thanks again Israel , and your wonderful House Painting Plus. -

Excellent,
Came and worked and finished and not running off to other jobs for several days then coming back, like other contractors I used.
Their work was well above my expectations! Which is rare now a days.
You won’t be disappointed! -
From estimate to completion, everything was very professional, and without worry. I would highly recommend House Painting Plus, and I will definitely use them for my next job.

Israel and his team did a great job. They were fast, efficient, detail oriented. All around great experience.
His prices were competitive and he was quick to respond to questions and give quotes.
His team was always on time and often worked late to get the job done. They cleaned up each evening and very respectful to the vegetation/landscaping around my house.
I highly recommend him and his team. -

In Atlanta when looking for vendors to perform home services it's always kind of a crapshoot to find someone who will actually show up when they say they will and do what they say they will. However, working with Israel and his team was a pleasant deviation from the norm of vendors who over promise and under deliver (if they show up at all.) From beginning to end, everything was handled very professionally and competently by Israel and his team. I was very pleased with the services provided (full exterior trim painting, replacement of some rotten wood).Israel was very responsive to every question or concern from the time of the estimate through to the completion of the job. The crew led by Miguel worked very hard, showed up on time and did everything that was asked of them to a high degree of diligence. I wouldn't hesitate to use House Painting Plus again in the future and will certainly recommend them to anyone in need of painting/carpentry.

We had an amazing experience with this company. From the beginning through the estimation Process to the completion of the work. The team showed up on time each day and completely finished the work as expected.
They did a great cleanup at the end of the day and were very respectful when working around our home. We highly recommend! -
Very very pleased with this company. Israel was quick to respond, gave me a fair quote, and had the jobs Completed in a good timeframe. The work was done excellently and I could not be more pleased. After he did a whole house Interior paint job, I decided to use his team again when we needed some drywall repair because I was so pleased. Would highly recommend.

Israel is a lovely man. His team were all very friendly and seemed to understand our project and moved very quickly to complete the tasks, which we absolutely appreciated. I was so pleased during the process that I recommended this company to a client of mine who has a large upcoming project and I felt Israel and his team could handle the job. They did, in fact, show up for a smaller project for that company and all of the company leadership team were very pleased and I was able to convince them that he could definitely handle their larger project. I can't speak yet to the quality of their work as time will have to tell. One item that did go wrong is that the first electrician did not wire the lighting box for the landscape lighting properly. We had to hire another electrician who charged us to correct it. We decided not to bring it up to Israel because we were pleased with everything else he had done for our home renovation. We paid him $20k which I believe was fair for the services he provided. I didn't have time to write a review immediately, but I am glad I waited. Unfortunately, communication after the project took a very unprofessional turn. Let me explain. As our major project was nearing completion, we knew that we would have a few small punch-list type items to complete our renovation coming up soon. Because we had grown to trust Israel and his team, we asked one of Israel's primary staff members if he would be interested in coming back to help us once we made a small list of items like touch up paint, etc., and if it was okay with his boss. He said he was interested and gave us his cell number. We didn't think that this would be a problem, since I got the impression that Israel accepts larger projects, not small handyman type repairs. I totally get that. Surprisingly, we received an almost threatening text from Israel basically telling us we were wrong to try to ask his employee to do work for us. What???? We asked Miguel if it was okay and he said yes and he provided his personal phone number. We totally understand protocol and because we had a lot of respect for Israel we would never have tried to betray him as he suggested. My husband tried to explain, but Israel would not answer him via text or phone call. I am truly disappointed. I really liked Israel's friendly demeanor. I really wanted to love this company and refer them to all my corporate clients. I ignored the fact that there were some review issues with a previous company he owned, so they changed their name, but I tried to understand and pushed my husband to give them a chance. I'm embarrassed that I did that. In summary, if what you want is fast, this company is for you. But beware of inappropriate text exchanges after service is complete. Trust me, I am so disappointed to have to write this review. I had truly hoped it would be a more positive experience.

Hire Israel and his team if you can. I interviewed 5-7 firms and got proposals - I felt these guys understood what I wanted and grasped the project. I painted the house - replaced the gutters - and has a section with new siding and stained - and they redid my front stairs (more like a deck). They were on time and I was out of town when they started. The crew has skills in the required disciplines - they know what they are doing.
The crew is considerate and they clean up. The neighbors even noted to me "they take their time" - they are careful and do the job right from prep to finish. The finished on time and on budget. -
UPDATE - YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW, UNTIL YOU DO (revised from 5 stars to 2 stars):
As we waited the recommended 60-90 days before staining, I began to notice flaws (gaps, uneven corners, crooked railing, etc.) in the craftsmanship of our deck (see images). Israel came back and did some minor fixes. Our homeowners' association president had an inspector for the County at her home. He came over to introduce himself and immediately began to point out things that weren't "up to code" and other issues with our deck - the improper spacing/number of bolts to secure the deck to our home (16 to 24 in. between is "up to code" while some of ours had 4 to 5 ft. between them), support beams with no Y support bracing (see images), several areas where nails were used instead of screws to actually secure the hold, straight railing on the stairs that consisted of 3 individual boards which, over time, will begin to wear and warp in 3 different ways, snaking railing on the long side, and gaps where there should be tight fits. Finally, and most concerning, I noticed that one of the support beams looked crooked. A closer look revealed that the beam was completely detached from the bottom side of the deck. Fortunately, the inspector had a nail gun with him and was kind enough to nail the beam in place temporarily. His professional opinion is that a deck should be put together with nails, HELD TOGETHER with screws, and that our contractor did not put enough screws in the proper places after deck was put together.
I immediately texted and called Israel to report our findings and to schedule time for him to come back and secure our deck. Within about a week, someone came to secure the support beam WITH MORE NAILS. We were out of town, so I can't say exactly who came or when they came. When we returned, I contacted Israel about the other fixes to our deck. After several weeks of exchanged texts and calls, I was finally able to meet with Israel and we agreed that he would come back to add Y supports and bolts to get our deck "up to code", as well as screws to properly hold our deck together. On Sunday, October 9, 2022, Israel came to make the agreed upon repairs. We spoke, like we usually do, he advised me that his guys were at Home Depot picking up materials and would be arriving soon. My son and I were at the house, having breakfast, and watching the early-morning Giants/Packers game broadcast from London. The noise from the work made it such that we had to turn the television up loud to hear it. The noise stopped an hour and a half or so later, while the game was still on. I assumed the crew was taking a break. My son left a little after halftime of the game and when I walked him out, I noticed Israel and his crew were gone. I retrieved my phone and noticed a text message from Israel which read, "Is done". Long review longer, when I went to inspect the work, I instantly understood why Israel left without advising me and without doing a final walkthrough with me. The work was clearly a rush job - boards cut at improper angles, nails or screws driven in ways that resulted in damages to the wood, gaps everywhere (see images). When I texted Israel to advise him of my displeasure he responded by saying, "Mr Dorian I spend $800 Today and I don't charge you for the extra work That's all I can do". I reminded him that we paid him $22,000 with "the expectation being that our deck would be built safely, precisely, and to [the] highest standards of craftsmanship." To which, he did not respond.
If you plan to use House Painting Plus to build a deck, which at this point I do not recommend, I suggest you also plan to have the work inspected by a neutral third party and an agreement that specifies the standards of quality expected.
