These people prey on your vulnerable state. They do lots of talking about the job and it doesn't get done. They did not provide me with an accurate itemized invoice after I asked several times and I STILL don't have it. They claimed they installed 60' ft of pipe in my yard and NO WAY did they do that without reaching the main. They claimed to have changed my pressure release valve ...that was a lie. They claimed they reinstalled my toilet...that was another lie. I got financed to pay for this work and have to pay this bill so of course I want this bill corrected. They are thieves and can not be trusted. WATCH OUT...They are Smiling Snakes. How long does it take to correct an invoice?

I've had a few other plumbers before and never had one I liked. I've been having water pressure problems in my new house and decided to give these guys a call. Well worth it. Jason gave me some advice on the phone and I was able to diagnose and fix the problem myself. Had a blockage in a older home that was causing my washing machine drain pipe to overflow at times. Jason came in and quickly assessed the situation and used jetting to get the water line clean. While there he pointed out an issue with roots near the water line and gave me a recommendation on how to prevent that from become a future plumbing issue. Jason did a great job!

These guys are amazing and honest! Jason came out in about an hour and fixed my problem in an instant. He even gave me advice on 2 other plumbing issues at no extra cost. I will call them first for any future plumbing needs. Awesome.

I called the plumbing detectives to try to solve an issue at 11 am, described the problem to Jason and he said it sounded like I needed x, that he had a colleague not part of plumbing detectives that could probably solve the problem as well as Jason could. Jason said he would see if the person was available and call me back. Less than 5 minutes later Jason called back and said that his colleague was available and asked if I could be home in an hour. I was able to get home, the guy called to say he was running 15 minutes late. I described the situation and the guy was very straightforward, no bs, and less than 30 minutes later the problem was solved. Total time from call to fixing the issue was less than 2 hours.
In some ways this should be, and is, a recommendation for the guy who did the work but I was impressed that Jason from the plumbing detectives gave up the chance to do a consultation to make some money to then say I needed the services of his colleague. Instead, Jason listened and correctly diagnosed the problem and steered business to the person who would most easily get the job done. That kind of integrity is not so common now and I will definitely recommend the plumbing detectives to my colleagues if they ask for a plumber or if I need any other services.

This is an excellent company!
I had a leaking 3" cast iron pipe problem and Jason was super responsive in his messages while we tried to identify the problem. His first quote, over phone messages and videos, was fair and clearly stated the possible cost and why. And his service was careful, clean and efficient, with total cost coming down to be under the quoted value. I would recommend his services to any of my friends.

So technically I didn't actually hire Jason with Plumbing Detective, but he has a loyal customer for life. I called with my toilet suddenly having started leaking from where the tank meets the base. Jason asked a few questions about the age/make of the toilet and was able to diagnose the issue over the phone. Unfortunately he was booked for the next week and a half and we didn't want to go without a second toilet in the house that long.

But instead of calling another plumber Jason explained the part that he was sure was the issue and that it was a moderately easy DIY project to take off the tank and replace it. He talked me through what it would consist of and even offered that if I got stuck or had questions I could call him back. A trip to Home Depot for a new spud valve and an hour or so of work later and I had fixed my own toilet. An amazing level of service and professionalism. When I inevitably end up needing a plumber in the future, this will be the only one I call.
