Had this company come out to repair my refrigerator and my dryer, technician called to let me know of arrival time, which he was on time ! dryer was fixed at time of service, refrigerator had to have parts, took less than one week for the repair to be complete. Office staff kept me informed of my time frame, very helpful and the technician explained what he was doing as he was doing it. Sorry all of you had a unpleasant experience, but they were awesome to me

I would give this company ZERO stars if I could. My home warranty company sent Fixx My Appliance out to service my refrigerator and oven. It took them three trips to replace the water line to my refrigerator. Each technician that was sent to the home had a missing part and was never able to complete the job. It literally took 2-3 months. They connected the water line, said everything was fine and left. Two weeks later, I have water running in my basement and when we pulled the refrigerator out, the water line, replaced by them, was leaking from the line and the connection. I have severe water damage in my home and they are denying they caused the problem. Secondly, they replaced the hinges on my oven door and subsequently, my oven door came off the hinges and the shattered the glass. They did not take responsibility for that either. They told my home warranty company I slammed the oven door and shattered the glass. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY REPAIR WORK EVER!!!! They do not stand behind their work and are not beyond lying to get out of taking responsibility for the shotty work they have done.

I normally do not leave reviews but this company just has bad service & customer service all around. The lady who answers the phone is rude & has no people skills. The tech who came out let me know he didn’t want to fix my washer. I called the office and the lady rudely informed me I needed to step back and let the tech do his job. I told her he told me he was not going to fix it. The tech walked out and did not fix my washer because he simply didn’t want to. I hope the Home Warranty company I use drops them because it gives them a bad name.

Just not a good experience with these guys. Our Dishwasher was shutting down in the middle of the cycle. Even though this happens every time we run a cycle, the repairmen did not want to "wait" for it to run a cycle and shutdown on it's own. Even though I can understand that is boring to sit and wait, it meant they kept fixing the wrong things, telling us it was GOOD now... only to find out about 60 min after they left it shut down yet again. Then another call back to them, another week of waiting, only to happen again.

The last time, we wouldn't sign the slip to close our repair until the Dishwasher ran through a full cycle. The tech said he would go onto another job and for us to call him if it quit. Well, it did quit mid cycle, I did call... but he never came back. Now I find out the tech closed the slip for us.

Maybe the tech's are overworked and have too many calls to get to? I don't know... but all I can say, is I would NOT recommend them. I would try to find a company that will take the 1-2 hrs to "Fix My Appliance" correctly the first time vs. 3 service calls and it's still not fixed.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a home warranty or with any of their vendors or contractors. They came to my house to fix the pump on the dishwasher and Pitts fix the compressor on my fridge raider said they be back in three or four days with the part never called me and let me know one of the parts was on back order. Then said they would be out the next week send another technician out who didn’t even know why he was there. He showed up to do nothing so now I’m taking three days off of work missed money. Now it’s rolling into a month and a half. My fridge raider doesn’t work and my dishwasher doesn’t work by far subpar customer service and a horrible way to run a business.Avoid them at all cost and less you want to be treated like your not a priority.

Horrible, Horrible service! They were supposed to come on Friday between 1 and 5. They never showed. I called at 5:50 and was assured by the company that answers the phone after hours that they would be coming. I called again at 7:49 and was told (after the person who answered called one of the owners) that they would either be there or would call to reschedule. Neither happened. I thought "Surely, they'll call me on Monday to rescedule." Wrong again! I finally called about 3:30. I was told by the first person that the tech had shown up at my house at 5:30 and there was no one there. Funny, I was home the whole time and NO ONE came to the door! Plus, my husband gets off at 5:00 and we live about a mile from his work. After he got home, he was out in our front yard doing work until dark (about 8:00). He never saw anyone. Oh, did I mention that I have 6 dogs that raise Cain any time someone comes to my door? These people are liars! I asked to talk to a supervisor. The supervisor told me that the tech who serviced my area was one of their best and had never had any complaints. I told her that he had one now. She also told me that he came to
my house at 5:00 (not 5:30 like the first person said). I told her that he did not. She (Karen) was very rude. I have a home warranty with Choice Home Warranty. If this is the type of business that they work with, I'll be getting a new Home Warranty company.

This has been the WORST interaction I've EVER had. Cathy (sp? Kathy) in particular should go through soft skills training, due to her lack of customer service. When I told her that I had called 4 times in the last MONTH and hadn't ever been called back by her department, she threw a co-worker under the bus and then proceeded to say (with a large amount of attitude) "I'm Cathy, and when I say I'll call you back... I'll call you back!!!" Then, guess what... she did NOT call back! I have been waiting for almost 2 months for my refrigerator to be fixed , and I understand if they had "internal issues," but I never received ONE call to keep me apprised of what was going on. They failed to call and they never fixed my issue, I've now been assigned to a new service provider. This is probably only the second online review I've ever written (good or bad) about any company. This was downright unacceptable. I implore you to use any other company for your needs. I gave 1 star, because you have to give at least one to submit feedback. But they receive 0 stars from me.

Repairman showed up a day after the originally scheduled appointment date. Looked at our washer and stated that someone overfilled it and we just needed to run another cycle then left. Please know that this is a clear front loading washer and it was empty except for the water that would not drain, which was the reason for calling! Another company promptly came out replaced the drain component and had it working in less that 45 minutes!! Very rude customer service from Fixx My Appliance!!!

My dishwasher needed repair. The technician who repaired it was named"Craig" I was very impressed with him from the beginning. He is very professional and knowledgeable and makes it a point to make sure the customer understands the problem. While he was here I learned he was a supervisor by way of him having to assist another technician over the phone. Being a former business owner that employed 15 employees I was impressed at the way he instructed the technician on how to resolve a proiblem. What stood out most to me was the fact that he didn't just give the technician the answer but helped him figure out the resolution.

READ!! . . . . You DON'T have to settle for the lowest bidding company your home warranty automatically assigns to you (like Fix My Appliance). That's how many home warranty companies make their money--by hiring the worst--but you can always tell them you've worked with "that" company before and would never have them set foot in your house again, and they WILL give you other options. You just have to make it clear that your renewal is at risk if they are not helpful. Trust me, you don't want to miss work multiple days and have no call, no show multiple times. Will they fix your appliance eventually? Yes. But is it worth waiting or missing multiple days of work? Not for me. Not to mention the ladies at the front desk are both extremely rude.

I needed my refrigerator repaired and was pleased to receive the fast efficient service from a tech named Brian. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I spoke with his supervisor Cathy to let her know how much I appreciate the Fixx My Appliance,Inc company.

Alan came to our home to repair our fridge and dishwasher. He was very knowledgeable and was able to detect the problems and came back out to our home on a Saturday with replacement parts on his day off.

I would definitely use this company again with or without the warranty service.
Good customer service is hard to come by.

I called Fix My Appliance at 8:30 a.m. and spoke to manager, Mary, to confirm my 1:00 -5:00 p.m. appointment. Technician, Donovan, arrived around 11:00 a.m.; and his two hour early arrival was unexpected. I asked that he return between the appointed and CONFIRMED timeframe and he stated that he would not return today and perhaps I can be rescheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday). I called the office of Fix My Appliance and spoke to a lovely, personable lady who too shares the name Mary, but she is not the manager with whom I earlier spoke. I informed nice Mary about the situation and she was quite understanding. I asked to speak with Manager Mary and unfortunately, she would not take my call and gave no explanation why. I asked nice Mary what time should I expect to hear from Manager Mary; and nice Mary said that Manager Mary said that she would return my call at 5:00 p.m.! The time was 2:08 p.m., so it was going to take manager Mary THREE HOURS to return my phone call?! Utterly ridiculous and despicable customer service! This mishap occurred due to Fix My Appliance not conferring with technician Donovan- which is not my fault- as again, I confirmed my appointment at 8:30 a.m.

I will be reporting manager Mary's lack of customer service and professionalism to American Home Shield!

Where to begin. The technician did come to my house within the specified timeframe on Friday. He was on the phone with someone back at headquarters explaining our refrigerator issues- he clearly had no clue what was wrong. He had me get on the phone to explain the issues. He asked me 3 times what brand of refrigerator it was he was looking at in front of him. They finally determined what was wrong and he said they’d order a part, it be there in 1-2 business days, and they’d call to schedule the installation. I confirmed twice that the $75 diagnostic charge that day, would go towards parts and labor for the next visit as it was explained to me when I initially scheduled the first visit and it was confirmed.
The next Wednesday I called to get a status update and left a voicemail. I left another voicemail that Friday and finally heard back from them asking if I wanted to order the part? So they never even ordered the part. And I was going to have to pay for parts and labor- another $120....I asked numerous times about the $75 initial visit going towards repairs and they said they don’t do that? and began talking in circles about the cost.
We decided to call the initial $75 our own loss because we did not feel confident in continuing service with this company. We have since had someone else resolve our issues, and it turns out this company diagnosed it wrong anyway.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was a really disappointing experience.

We should be allowed to give a negative star. This place is called fixx my appliance and thats exactly what they CAN’T do. I was forced to deal with them because of my warranty company and as I really I’ve canceled my warranty company. I was without my fridge for over a month. Each technician that showed up was nice but always late. The worst part about this company is Cathy in the office. The rudest woman I’ve ever interacted with. The company was supposed to change my compressor and forgot to do so (please explain how that happens) After we figured out that they never change the compressor Cathy’s response was “well that not my fault!” Believe me when I say do not waste your time dealing with this joke of a business. Not to mention Cathy told my warranty company that they completed work that they never did. Thankfully Wanda was truthfully enough to tell the company that the work Cathy told them was completed actually wasn’t. Again... do not use this company!

The icemaker on our refrigerator recently stopped working and our home warranty company assigned Fixx My Appliance to make the repair. From start to finish, the service I was given was outstanding. I was contacted within 24 hours to set up an appointment for the very next day. The assigned technician (Lamar) called within 30 minutes of arrival to let me know he was on his way. He promptly arrived, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts needed. I was called just 5 days later informing me that the parts had arrived and Lamar would be out the next day to complete the repair. Again, Lamar called within 30 minutes of arrival, promptly arrived and made the repair within 45 minutes or so. The icemaker is working perfectly and there have been no issues at all. Just wanted to commend all involved on their professionalism, punctuality and knowledge. Well Done!!!!!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They not only fixed my dishwasher, but they took the time to give me tips and hints on how to easily clean it and my other appliances (washer, etc) to keep them working correctly and efficiently. The service guy was very professional and very nice and you just can't ask for more than that. VERY happy! Would recommend them to ANYONE! Two thumbs up!!

1 star because 0 stars is not an option! Do NOT use this company!

My home warranty contracted my appliance repairs to Fixx My Appliances and over the last 6 months, they have worked on my washer, dryer and dishwasher. The dryer took 3 visits, the washer 3 and then a 4th to finally replace it and then the dishwasher... It is up to 6 visits now, 5 with Fixx My Appliance and 1 with the new company. Lamar is the tech that has been out the most of all the others and he is horrible. He never calls with more than a 5-10 minute notice despite, me confirming up to 3 times with the company that I need a 30 minute window. He acts put out and then takes 45 minutes to show up anyway. He has no customer rapport skills, he is disrespectful, rude and an inept technician. The other techs have all been okay as far as personality, approachableness and respectful. On Lamar's most recent trip last Monday - he actually managed to break my dishwasher and improperly replace the motor. He broke the top rack and failed to seal the new motor, so my dishwasher now leaks underneath. I requested my service on the dishwasher. I first requested service on July 1, 2018 - Fixx My Appliance took over a week to get out for the first service visit. I have not had a dishwasher in 4 and a half months. (Now I due put part of that on the warranty company), however Fixx My Appliance has yet to actually repair it. On the 2nd or 3rd visit out, a supervisor came with another technician and told my husband that the first tech should have caught the problem and yet another part was order.
The operations manager I spoke with last Thursday asked my to email her all of this prior to leaving the review and assured me the owner would take care of it and she wanted to opportunity to do so before I posted this. I have not heard back from them at all.

Completely recommend! Craig was very professional from the first call to confirm his arrival time. He fixed my dishwasher and also recommended a few things to keep it working efficiently. Really appreciated the prompt repair after a bad experience with another company.

This company should NOT be used they overcharge their clientele and think that it's okay. Service from the tech was great the day prior; however the company itself is awful. Started calling Fixx My Appliance at 9, regarding a price on parts for washer. I was told by Anita that a Kathy, whom I'm assuming is the owner would call me back. Several hours later still waiting (no call back). After multiple attempts to reach out to Kathy still no resolve. Last attempt to reach someone was at 2ish, and I spoke with Yasmin. Who did not drop the ball, but gave me a price. Was told by Yasmin that the price to have the washer fixed would be $473, per Kathy. This is including my deduction for $75 🤥. If I bought my parts I would spend $247.30/ for their labor it would be $225. If you break down the cost of Labor is $75 per hour. So you automatically know that it's going to take 3 hours for my washer to be fixed🤔. This is the exact same price give or take a dollar. While waiting for Kathy to call me. I did my own research on my LG washer, and found parts for a reasonable price. Also found a company that would not recharge me a diagnosis fee. This company will come out the following day (Thursday), and charge me $375. Fixx My Appliance will be closed in a year with these tactics.

Absolutely the worst repair company i have ever dealt with. Their first serviceman came out with no ladder, tools etc and did a terrible job with installing a new garage door opener. The machine was lopsided and had no structural integrity. On top of that, he left his job half done with no installed button opener and the light did not work. Even when contacting the agency, they are incredibly difficult to deal with. After days of calling and fake promises, they are still late to appointment and don't even have the courtesy to call and let you know that there will be a 2 HOUR delay. I recommend NO ONE ever use this company. If your home warranty sets up an appointment with them, REFUSE this company as it creates more problems that you start with.
