I'm sad to share this bad review about Toby Spires. He and his crew came and did great work cutting trees and piling up brush. At the end of the day we paid him the full contract price, and he has never returned to finish. We have called dozens of times and left messages. Our yard is a mess and it has been since 3/6/2025... I only hope this review helps others because we are out thousands of dollars.

We had a GREAT experience with TOBY TREE CO. All phone calls were answered or returned in a timely fashion. Appointments were kept, start date and time was precise. The price was the same as quoted. All employees were professional and courteous. For lunch we dined in on me with fresh grilled delicious cheeseburgers, potato salad, chips condiments and ice tea.

I had a great experience with Toby, his receptionist and the crew. They were very good at communicating with me about delays. They are very busy, and like any tree company can get behind because of the weather. The crew showed up on time. Were friendly and did a fast, excellent job. Toby explained how it might tear up my yard with the bobcat. And I was fine with that. Reasonable pricing. Highly recommend. Will use them again.

Had a very large pine in the yard with multiple electrical lines running around the tree. Toby was able to come give me a quote 3 days after I called and was at my place 3 days later to do the work. His guys showed up on time and did a great job. no lines were hit, and they worked fast! Would absolutely recommend them.

Toby came to our house 7 months ago and gave us a quote and told us he would be here in 3 weeks! 3 weeks came and went ! We tried calling and would always get a voicemail saying they would call us back! We would never hear back so we waited and finally after 6 months we called and of course got voicemail and she lady called us back and said we were at the top of their list and would be here next week! Well that never happened so we called again and we said this is ridiculous and we need to know if y’all are coming to cut our trees down or do we need to get another company to do it but please let us know! Guess what we still never heard back so I guess they did not need our business so we called again another tree company and they came out and gave us a quote and told us the date they would be here and they showed up when they said they would and they did a fantastic job! We would never ever recommend Toby’s Tree service to anybody! They are very unreliable and won’t ever return phone calls!!

Got a quote today, and the crew was here same day taking trees down, including cutting, stump grinding, shredding and clean up. Pricing was very good compared to other quotes. Professional, friendly crew. Very efficient, well priced and done quickly. Will be calling them again when I'm ready to take some more trees down.

I had set up a date with a company out of Covington Georgia to cut and remove 3 large pines and grind up 60 stumps. After calling and texting never got a response back, I then called Milam' tree service on a Saturday to get a estimate for the same job, Josh showed up about an hour later for the estimate. I agreed to the estimate also shocked by the lower rate charged compared to the company in Covington, Josh said it would be Thursday to do the job, they showed up two day's earlier. Couldn't even tell they were here, trees were gone no mess what so ever had 44 stumps ground up because I have plans of bring them back this winter to cut more trees and grind up the remaining stumps. Couldn't have asked for better service and highly recommend Milam's. I can't praise enough the professional and great job they did for me.

What a difference Milam's tree services created in my yard with the removal of old/dead trees. I was referred to this company and am glad I used them. They made the entire process from start to finish quick and painless. A BIG THANKS to your entire crew!

I tried going through Home Advisors, and thumbtack, in the end I just picked up the phone and called Milam's. They were the first ones to arrive at the time they said. They gave a fair accurate quote. In less than one week, my trees have been removed, trimmed and stump ground. They were so professional. So efficient. An army of pro's they left like my property like they had never even been here. I will definitely be using them in the near future. Job well done. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I needed an Emergency Tree Removal and they came out within a few hours and had it taken care of and cleaned it all up. We found Milam's Tree Service recently when looking for a tree company for an emergency tree removal and storm damage clean up one of our trees went down in the last storm. I called after hours but got a call back right away. They came out the next day at the time scheduled and got right to work. The tree was in a really tight place and we were both grateful and pleasantly surprised that no damage or harm was done to our property removing it. They cleaned up all the mess that landed in my neighbors yard too. Some of our other neighbors saw the professional service Milam's provided and have hired them too. If you hire anyone else for your tree services, you are taking an unnecessary risk. I give them a A+ for their customer service and expert workmanship.

We will no longer be searching for tree services and WILL ALWAYS CALL MILAM'S should we need tree service. We are highly impressed with their services and have used them twice. Once to cut a precarious large branch, and yesterday to take down a lightening damaged and decaying nearly 70 foot elm tree, a magnificent, yet damaged and dangerous tree. Their quote was $1500 less than a prior quote from another tree service, that happened to be cutting trees in the neighborhood, and $500 less than the same tree service had they left the limbs. The other tree service said that several other tree might be damaged in the process and that we might have to pull out part of our fencing and cut down a tree close to the elm.We had no clean up outside of the tarp over the fish pond, (our decision). When cutting the trunk down I told them to not worry about the flowers around the base, to just be safe. NOT one flower or plant was damaged! I can't even do that when I'm weeding. The four young men were professional and no nonsense. They had the tree down in 1 hour and 10 minutes. We really thought that it was going to be a 4-5 hour job.THANK YOU Milam's for a job well done!

Milam tree service did a great job taking down some dangerous trees at my home. No damage to my property,or home. Cleaned everything up great before leaving. Very nice crew.

I am a repeat customer of Milam's Tree Service. This is the absolute best Tree Service in McDonough, Georgia and in fact the best I've ever seen. In a earlier career employed by a local utility, I worked with several contracted tree service providers. I've done my share of climbing and cutting trees as well. I have never seen a group of folks work better as a team. They are efficient, safe, well equipped, neat, and fast.

This is an incredible team. I recommend Milam's Tree Service.

We've been using Milams Tree Service since 2009. Josh, Ritchie and the whole crew always do a great job!

I have used their services about a half a dozen times and their work is always consistently amazing. They are quick, efficient as heck, work with all the safety protocols, have all the equipment you could ever think of, and always clean up so well after themselves that you can hardly tell they were there at all. I would HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone, any time.

Milam's Tree Service is the absolute BEST! They have great prices and amazing service. The crew was in and out within 1.5 hours... even cleaned up the site. No signs of them being there except for the small wood chip pile that I did not have removed. Thanks guys!

I never write reviews but my experience was too good not to share. I got my tree removed for $650 less than the next best estimate. The guys were friendly and fast. I knew I had to write a review when I saw the guys taking out my walkway lights so they wouldn't get damaged. I probably won't even shop around the next time I need a tree removed. They did excellent cleanup after as well

Highly recommend Milam. Had a dead tree that was being eaten at so it needed to come down before if fell on its own. I had several services come out to give me an estimate. The rep was quick to come out and very friendly. Their estimate was the lowest. Scheduled the appointment and they were here early!! Sure is rare now days. They got here and went to work. Job was done super fast and the yard was left like they were never here. In an age where good customer service is rare, I was extremely satisfied with their service!

Great company & Great price. Everyone was professional and worked together really well. They left the work area cleaner than what it was when they got here. I highly recommend Milan Tree and I would definitely use them again.
