I brought Gibbs in for the 2nd phase of a landscaping job in my back yard. I did not call them the first time because I had heard that they were expensive. However after a mediocre experience with the first landscape company I was anxious to find a better experience. What I found was not only was their price competitive but the service and quality was top shelf. For example, the first company presented their estimate on a hand written piece of paper and then pressured me for a signature. Gibbs presented a full color CAD drawing that showed the exact name and location of each plant, shrub and flower. Additionally after the install I realized that I may need additional privacy shrubs… Gibbs sent out a design guy that readily agreed and also suggested that we relocate and adjust the spacing of the shrubs they already planted. I was surprised when I got the bill because they only charged me for the additional shrubs and relocated the other ones for free.
I was extremely satisfied with the experience and would not waste my time with other landscape companies when my next project comes up.

This is the second time I've had Gibbs Landscape do landscape design and installation for me, and I will continue to use them! Everyone is professional, helpful, and responsive, from design to install to office. The crew went out of their way to review everything with me, fixed the irrigation system, and transplanted the few plants I wanted to save. I highly recommend them, I will continue to use them in the future, and well worth the price. Thank you, Gibbs, for a beautiful front yard!

We are so pleased with our backyard makeover! Jesse Allen, our landscape architect, listened to our dream and created a design that brought it to life. We had a small backyard, but you'd never believe it now! Jesse created a way for us to have everything we wanted--a deck, a fire table, a generous pavilion with an outdoor kitchen, and a beautiful in-ground pool. Jesse acted as our project manager throughout the process. When some of our wants exceeded Gibbs' expertise, Jesse found excellent professionals for us to fill in the gaps. Jesse was so friendly and easy to work with, but above all, he made our dream happen. We couldn't be happier with the final result.

From first contact, everyone I interacted with at Gibbs was responsive and professional. I hired them to perform many different tasks that required coordination with me as well as within their organization. They communicated their plans clearly and followed through with those plans on the scheduled dates. The design phase was detailed and working with their landscape designer was very easy. They transformed an unusable area of my property into an area my family regularly uses now. I would recommend Gibbs to anyone I know.

I have been using Gibbs Landscaping for 7+ years. They have done a number of large installation and enhancements throughout the years on my property. I also work twice yearly with the color installation crew to install seasonal flowers and have been using them for weekly maintenance for many years now. I have worked with Michael Gregory on all of our landscape architecture/design and he has been fantastic to work with! I would highly recommend Gibbs and Michael for your next landscaping project.

Very professional! Requested a quote and within 3 days a VP walked our property and We shared our needs. Within the next week, we met with Landscape Account Mgr for more detailed discussions and the next week we had a 3-member maintenance team on site who did an incredible job. We also had a professional pruning team which did a beautifully professional job! And, we had lawn professionals apply fungicide. All of this work within 3 weeks of hiring Gibbs. We have used multiple services and Gibbs is by far the most talented and responsive. Well worth the monthly maintenance fee. We will be hiring Gibbs to complete several landscaping projects in the fall. We are very pleased!!!

Gibbs did a fantastic job on our yard and driveway. We had a long list of needs and wants that we knew was going to have to be done in phases. Our designer, Jesse, was fantastic at helping us look at what was most important to do first and how much we could accomplish with our initial budget. He not only really listened to what we wanted...he cared! He came up with a design that solved some big issues with water run-off and erosion, extending our driveway, and screening off an unsightly rental property next door. The contract we signed outlined all of the work being done so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Gibbs worked with us all through COVID and supply chain issues. We ended much needed extra parking space, a beautiful (huge!) retaining wall with extra level outdoor living space and beautiful plants, including a living screen to block the view of the neighbors. With the variety of mini-projects that made up the whole, we needed several different crews, but Gibbs (and Jesse) handled all of the scheduling. He was always prompt and very reponsive to my calls and emails throughout the project. He was very patient when we threw in a few extra requests along the way. And we have the next stage of our project all laid out in the plan Jesse developed so we'll be able to continue our yard transformation in a year or two. I would definitely recommend Gibbs for the quality job they do and the wonderful customer service.

Greg Michael has been our Landscape Architect with Gibbs. He has been fantastic to work with: VERY professional, ALWAYS follows through on what he says he is going to do in a timely manner, very easy to communicate with…diligent about his work. I appreciate his personal and professional integrity…along with the entire Gibbs crew installers and maintenance- all are conscientious and polite and excellent at what they do! William who is head of our maintenance has been incredibly responsive, courteous, and professional as well. The quality of service Gibbs offers and delivers is far superior than any other landscaping service I have ever encountered!

My wife and I are beyond pleased with our remodeled backyard. Michael Gregory's, our landscape architect, design exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier with the result. Our backyard is quite small, but Michael's design freed up so much space so it now feels much larger and more open. The crew that Gibb's utilized was beyond quick, efficient, and respectful. I couldn't believe how quick they completed the work. For any future landscaping needs I will only call Gibbs. I cannot recommend them enough.

We had the privilege of working with Jesse Allen at Gibbs on a residential project. Our primary purpose was addressing a hefty drainage issue which had ruined part of our property over several years. Jesse and his team designed a drainage solution which works well (where others had failed) and is visually attractive. We further asked Jesse for a design which brought some life / color / attention to a dead-space backyard. Gibbs absolutely delivered; we have excellent outcomes in landscape design and plant / tree selection, attention to present and future irrigation, gorgeous stonework on a new patio space and a subtle but effective lighting plan. All of this with a a focus on important details, an attentive ear for listening to what we needed / wanted, useful (and cost-saving) insights on stuff we had not thought about, and remarkably little stress throughout project execution. The Gibbs crew was consistently on time, on schedule and considerate of any possible disruption to our neighbors. Gibbs was not our lowest-price alternative, but their reputation for on-time, on-budget delivery was confirmed. We would readily hire them again for comparable projects, and have comfortably recommended them to others.

We used Gibbs and Greg Whitfield for a backyard update in November. This is our second time using them and they are outstanding! Greg's design addressed all of our needs (stone steps/paths, screening, drainage, etc.) and was beautiful! The crew was great - courteous, cleaned up each day, and extremely knowledgeable. The project was completed on time and on budget and we couldn't be happier with Greg and Gibb's work!

We have been new clients since late Spring. My husband and I are very pleased with the Gibbs maintenance crew and their upkeep of our large property. Our account manager has been most responsive and crew leader has done a great job attending
to our needs. We had a large gathering outside over the Labor Day weekend and the grounds looked fantastic. Many guests commented on the outside areas. We had another gathering this weekend and everything looked great.

My wife and I used Gibbs Landscape Company to redo our backyard. They did a great job and we were incredibly pleased with the work. We worked directly with Nathan Howle, who did an incredible job designing the new look for the backyard and overseeing the installation. The entire crew was professional, respectful, and timely in completing the job. Gibbs also checked in several times after the work was completed to make sure we were happy with the work.

Nathan is very diligent with vision. We converted a nothing backyard into a large beautiful property. Crew is very professional and patient.

Gibbs did work on our yard but a few items did not bloom. We were told to give it a season or now two. Several emails and calls with none returned. Thought we hired one of the best, but follow up/follow through after the sale has been horrible. Two dead bushes and the ‘no wall of ivy wall”. These are but a few examples of what did not work. Think I'll add more soon.

Update: Gibbs has reached out and is looking to help here. Will update review post that engagement.
Update 2: Peter came out from Gibbs today and reviews and addressed our concerns. Gibbs really leaned in and was very apologetic that this ask fell through the cracks. I cannot say enough good things on how much better we feel served now. Great job Peter at making things right.
