I wish there was an option to give Gibbs more than 5 stars. We’re thrilled with what they did for us. Greg understood exactly what I was trying to accomplish with his design. He took my general vision and made it even better. The plants are beautiful quality. His team did an excellent job with the installation of the hardscape and the plants. Greg also has been very detailed in getting the final product to look just right. He has been back twice to check the work and have a few things moved and add a few others where necessary. We couldn’t be happier with the results! And compliments from all the neighbors have been rave reviews too!

Gibbs was the clear choice for our landscaping project. Everything from Michael's design options to the flawless execution were nothing less than spectacular. The entire experience was fantastic and we will be repeat customers for all future projects. Highly recommend.

After many years of using a small local lawn care service we switched to Gibbs-WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! They are as close to
perfection as one can get. We had Nathan Howle and Greg Whitfield as landscapers and have William and Jacob as our local "go to" managers plus wonderful weekly service provided by Jose and Leonal.We are constantly impressed with their organization and "can do" attitude. Megan has provided us with
great flower ideas for our patio and pool area and David Gibbs
has "checked " on our yard several times without us asking. We
are greatly relieved to have this team caring for our property .They have really THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING that needs to be done and have all the answers to any question you might come
up with!!

We are new clients with Gibbs as of the last month but even in this one month the difference they have made in our property is remarkable. I was skeptical due to a couple of other bad experiences we had had with landscape maintenance people, yet Gibbs has shown up when they said they would, done what they said they would do in terms of mulching and weeding, and Peter Copses has been thoughtfully available for my numerous questions. We look forward to seeing what 11 more months of their careful attention to detail will produce after such a great start. Thank you Gibbs for giving us lifted spirits regarding bringing a lovely landscape setting up to where it could be!

I had the pleasure of working with Nathan, a brilliant landscape architect on a complete backyard renovation. What stood out the most is his passion and true love for his craft. Nathan is very knowledgeable, fun to work with, and delivered on all of his objectives (and on time!). He took time to listen, ask questions, and really understand what we wanted to accomplish. How would we use the space? How did we want it to make us feel? What colors are we drawn to? He even incorporated scents to give us an immersive sensory experience. He spent significant time in the back yard thinking about focal points, just the right specimen trees to use, and in the end, created a garden that is balanced and proportioned. The planting team worked very hard (seemingly nonstop) and was always on time. His irrigation and landscape lighting teams were also great and easy to work with. I've waited to write this review after the first full season and I must say - well done! Everything bloomed and grew in beautifully and I'm very happy with the results! As one master gardener said, "whoever planted this, knew what they were doing." Thank you for your outstanding work!

Our entire experience with Gibbs was wonderful. From the design consultation to the execution in planting and installation, everything was top-notch. Even the way the Gibbs team treated our existing plants when replanting to a new area of the property, respect and care was always on first and foremost. I would certainly recommend Gibbs for any type of outdoor living project.

The entire experience was a major project for us.
We had been planning for years to really change the landscape of the backyard.
Greg, Jose and their team are such a pleasure to work with. Very considerate, skilled and extremely professional.
The work was started and finished exactly as proposed.
They evened worked on rainy days(but not in the rain) to stay on schedule.
I asked my wife last summer why she would not sit out on the deck with me, she responded "There is nothing to look at".

We wanted to do a complete redesign of our yard and Gibbs not only brought our vision to life but also added many design elements to it that we had not thought of. They are so easy to work with-they listen to all our wants and ideas and are quickly responsive to any concerns or questions. Nathan, the landscape architect, has great eye for design but also pays great attention to detail-there is a lot of pride behind their work and it shows. We couldn't be happier with how our landscape has turned out!

Our project involved both hardscaping and new sod and landscaping. Jesse Allen was our designer and project manager and really did a great job incorporating what we wanted and needed with the end result having all the neighbors saying “wow”! He was able to work in drainage solutions that addressed the erosion issues and was even able to incorporate existing plantings into the plan. Jesse kept us informed of everything during the install and was able to answer our questions regarding the plants, maintenance, etc. I highly recommend Jesse and the team at Gibbs!

Nathan Kloos, our front and backyard designer, was professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Our project was staged in two parts. The front yard and drainage for the back yard was done in the fall. We finished the backyard in the spring, which included lifting and leveling our backyard by 30 inches with a retaining wall, along with a fire pit area install.

Nathan answered all calls almost immediately and actively listened to any of my concerns. Most importantly, he acted on those questions too! His knowlegde truy made this process very easy.

The crew that Nathan used for my yard was also incredible. They were polite, skilled, and quite honestly, they were artists too!

Greg Whitfield with Gibbs landscaping and his crew created an absolutely GORGEOUS backyard from our ugly, no drainage, BALD backyard. Greg designed a beautiful, hardscaped design and drainage for our small backyard. The crew was on time every single day until completion. Wonderful, talented folks all around! Thrilled with our backyard transformation done by Gibbs. Gibbs turned a sloping yard into a beautiful two-tiered paver patio that maximizes the utility of the space. The landscape design exceeded our expectations and the execution was professional, thoughtful, and flexible. The design did not just stop at the patio (which was the initial ask), but included additional aspects such as critical underground drainage from gutter downspouts, a slate chip area under the adjacent deck that has been a great functional and aesthetically pleasing element, and an impressive fieldstone stepper path leading down the side of the house to the patio. The project also included adding a significant number of new plantings, both in built-in beds on the patio and around the property generally. Gibbs was also able to recommend other service providers for irrigation and tree removal. Over time we have also had Gibbs help with other smaller design and installation projects on the property. Overall, I would highly recommend Gibbs for a top-notch product and experience!

Our experience with Michael and the entire crew at Gibbs Landscape was of a top tier professional organization. Michael's knowledge and keen eye allowed us to transform our property into a very functional and esthetic pleasing front and back yard. Michael's wisdom about establishing a oasis was profound, "It is the witnessing of the grounds maturing over the years that will give you the greatest joy".

Thank you very much Gibbs team, this was truly a great experience. We decided to completely redesign our front yard. Being that we live on a main street and this is our home, we wanted it to be perfect. We interviewed multiple landscape design groups over a 6 month period and there was no other choice than Gibbs. From the design process with the Gibbs architect, to the project manager and especially the team that put in the hard work, it came better than what was planned. Greg took his time with us until the plan was the way we thought fit us best. They incorporated a lot of the existing plants so we did not waste anything and we had some mature planting to start with. They started when expected, cleaned our property flawlessly every day before they left, and finished with a bang. The whole team top to bottom was very professional and friendly, I'm sorry i don;t have more projects to add. We have been through three landscape projects now over the past 25 years, and I can tell you the others did not go this way. When we compared everything the pricing was in line with the other companies, but it seemed they did not have the on sight personal to pull it off. All of the people that worked on the project were Gibbs employees, not hired contractors. My wife is happy than ever, which made the project that much better.

I hired Gibbs to do a major backyard project. I highly recommend them! Dwayne Johnson and his crew were beyond fantastic to work with. The project involved turning my sloping backyard into a space that would be accessible for my disabled sister. As can be seen from the photos, it involved design and installation of a paved pathway, walls and pavers in the screen porch, turf grass, fire pit area, separate garden beds, drainage, trees, bushes, and plants. They worked well with the other companies working on the project (deck and screen porch builder and basement general contractor). The companies they recommended for the fence (Allied) and for the outdoor lighting (Artistic Lighting) were also top notch. The crew was hard-working. Dwayne kept us informed throughout the process. I will definitely use them again for any landscaping work at my home. Lynn G.
