Backyard Estates, led by Adam and head contractor Dusty, honored all my requests for a customized ADU, including melding my sketch of a floor plan into theirs. They knew just how to work the designs through city planning and meet all the inspections.Construction was completed in three months with expert crews on site six days a week, sometimes working after dark to complete a task. They did a masterful job of making the ADU look like the main house. Communication with the company was excellent, and they provided a payment chart making all fees predictable.The new home is beautiful, full of storage, and not at all claustrophobic!

We hired Backyard Estates to build our ADU and were impressed with how fast and smooth the service was. Adam was knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to build an ADU.

The Owner went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfy with our new addition. Any time we had a question, Adam the Owner, responded in a timely and professional manner and kept true to his word. He kept communication lines open throughout the entire construction process. He also confirmed tile and flooring choices with prior to installation. I never felt taking for granted, very pleased with the quality of the cabinetry and detailed work, including the exterior portion.

We chose Backyard Estates to build our
ADU after visiting several of their Open Houses and talking in depth with Adam and Tom. We were so impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and integrity that we knew we wanted them to build our long dreamed about ADU. They handled everything, including all permits, from start to finish. All of their employees were on time, worked hard everyday, and completed the build from ground break to completion in 7 weeks. Backyard Estates also provided excellent references for landscaping and fencing. We easily rented our ADU and are enjoying our passive income stream. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of building an ADU!

If you are looking for new construction near the area, this is the top choice to go. High quality construction & community, on time delivery, professional and responsive sales. long term wise, I feel confident at the appreciation of Toll Bros properties.

I like the fact that properties are single sided on each street this way creates privacy and less traffic. Wish more landscaping can be done though with bigger trees given it's a new community

It’s a fine neighborhood, with great views.. can’t say I’ve noticed the neighborliness but everyone’s probably working all the time, let’s be real.

I don't even live here or want to really. However, the view it provides from my Canoga Park apartment (The Nova) is absolutely gorgeous. Even during the day.

Bryan Maisel builder’s did a beautiful job building our new home from the ground up. He is very attentive to our needs in our home. Even preventing our water pipes from freezing when we weren’t there. We are ecstatic with having Bryan as our builder!

In helping my mother look for a new home on Dauphin Island , Bryan helped us through the process, soup to nuts. He walked us through multiple properties and floor plans until we found the perfect spot. All along the way, he was friendly, professional, and helpful. As for the build quality, the new house is easily the most well constructed residential structure I've ever walked through (over engineered bolts and supports, warranties on siding and other structural elements, very well insulated, added height above ground, lovely modern interior design and details, quality palms and turf used in the landscaping, etc...). After purchase, he also helped us find furniture, answered questions about the home, and even helped repair the front door months after the fact when some movers gouged it out accidentally. Both my mother and I now consider Bryan a friend of the family, and if you're moving to the island, you couldn't ask for a better neighbor.
