Moon Valley has the best staff of employees. Zack is my go to guy for the orders all I do is send him a text and their on the way. Michael and Gene are the leads on the planting teams and they both have a great eye for placement. I’ve been with Moon Valley for more than 2 years.

If you want to pay the highest prices for what star nursery Lowes and Home Depot have, then absolutely go to a Moon Valley Nursery!!. They have ridiculously prices off the start. We purchased just over $8,000 in 4 smaller trees and 2 $600 pots to put in 2 of their trees that they recommended, and THEY planted. The 2 trees in both pots both died after 3 months. They told us that if we wanted to replace, we could for an additional $1800. Because they said it was a little hotter than normal. Of course, when purchasing, the salespeople will promise you the stars and literally the (moon). But when the deal is done and you pay them, that is the end of their deal. Do NOT expect the same results from before when the establishment was Plant World.

We purchased a Texas Mountain Laurel from Moon Nurseries, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. The tree was unhealthy from the start—its roots were dry, detached from the soil, and poorly developed, while the leaves were droopy and dry. Despite following their care instructions—including frequent watering and using their recommended Moon Juice for ten days—the tree showed no improvement.

When we visited the nursery with photos, hoping for professional advice, the staff brushed us off, vaguely calling the tree "stressed" and telling us to "just wait." No real guidance, no patience, just excuses. When we later messaged the salesperson LeTawnya who sold us the tree—she ignored us, despite promising to assist. We then emailed the nursery—no response. When we called, instead of helping, they immediately told us, “You planted it yourself, so there's no warranty,” refusing to take any responsibility or offer an exchange.

To make things worse, they never sent us a receipt despite requesting an emailed copy (we even checked our spam folder). This raises serious concerns about their transparency.

In the end, we discovered that the same Texas Mountain Laurel—larger and healthier—was being sold at Star nurseries for just $69, while Moon Valley Nurseries charged us $199 for a struggling tree. Overpriced, unhelpful, and highly suspicious business practices—avoid at all costs!

Mark at Moon nurseries on eastern and 215 sold us our strawberry tree. He’s always very helpful in identifying issues with it and provides great recommendations and gives us the products we need to ensure the tree is healthy. We were just there yesterday and he told us in less than a minute what we needed and provided all the products. We are glad we bought this tree from this store vs others. Great experience so far!

If i could give no stars I would. I was robbed of my experience when I was constantly being walked to anything that I was remotely interested in. I just wanted to be able to have the privacy to browse and see if there were anything I would like to purchase. The start of what felt like a "tour" was a bit uneasy. So what if what i want to look at is a tree that is 20ft tall?! That is what i wanted to look at. I wasted my time with my children today.

I went to this plant nursery because a plant I was gifted wasn't doing well. They explained to me that I was overwatering it and gave me some instructions on how I could try to save it. Although they weren't willing to re pot the plant for me, they did give me a free succulent and were very friendly. Will go back for any future plant needs.

We had such a great experience with Moon Valley Nurseries! From the moment we walked in, everyone was warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. The selection of trees and plants was impressive—everything looked healthy, vibrant, and well cared for.

Kevin was absolutely amazing to work with. He was friendly, patient, and really took the time to listen to what we wanted. He walked us through every step of the process and made fantastic suggestions that truly brought our vision to life. It felt like he was just as invested in our yard as we were!

We also had the pleasure of working with the GM, Brad, who sat down with us personally to make sure everything stayed within our budget while still helping us create the backyard of our dreams.

If you're thinking about upgrading your outdoor space, I can’t recommend Moon Valley Nurseries enough. The customer service, quality, and overall experience were top-notch.
Make sure to ask for Kevin!

We went to this nursery to purchase a 15-gallon replacement tree for our front yard. Latawnya was very helpful in directing us to that area of the nursery and discussing the tree specifics with us. We picked out a fruitless Olive tree and will have it delivered and planted by their staff.
Other areas of the nursery were well kept, and the check out staff were friendly. We also are considering replacing a few shrubs and might purchase the Ruella species. Will definitely return for other planting needs in the future.

Here was beautiful place!! But they didn’t have lot of indoor plants. It made me sad. So I couldn’t buy anything. And I wanted to buy some mints but they didn’t have price. And I couldn’t ask to anyone. So I gave up to buy it. If you are looking for outdoor plants. Then here would be a great place. But I think here is not good place for buying indoor plants.🪴

I waited to write this review because I thought the company could rectify their errors, but 6 weeks out I am still disappointed. I picked out five star jasmine plants with a representative Viven to replace my old, dying shrubs at a cost of $299 “delivered and planted” each. Vivien placed a pink tag on each of the ones I picked out and wrote my name on them. When check out time came, all of a sudden there was a $249 delivery and planting fee and a $375 warranty. I reluctantly (read: stupidly) paid these fees. I was assured that this would mean my old shrubs would be removed and the new ones planted. Well, just before delivery I was told via phone that I was responsible for uprooting my old plants but that they would be removed from my yard. I pulled them all out by hand myself. When delivery time came, they were late and I had to leave for work before the job finished. I spoke with the delivery guy and he promised me he would take my old shrubs away. He didn’t. He left them there in my yard and his crew made a mess. They planted sick-appearing vines on BROKEN trellises (not the ones I picked out and paid for) and one promptly started to die within a week. It’s a complete eyesore. They even backfilled the narrow holes new planting holes with rocks and my sandy clay dirt and not topsoil but they dis throw a couple handfuls of topsoil on top. I had to arrange disposal of the old, dead shrubs on my own.

I have been speaking with the manager and all he can offer is to bring another replacement under my purchased warranty when the crew “is in my neighborhood” more than a month out. They only deliver one day per week, which is a day I cannot be home. Now they’re saying 2 weeks and now a second plant is looking unhealthy when they should be starting to push new growth. None have any new growth. I have been watering exactly as instructed.

Basically, they ripped me off, charged me extra, didn’t fulfill their promises, gave me the bottom of the barrel (diseased) plants, and made me do half of the work. They ended up ripping out my irrigation instead of offering to help. I was told “otherwise it’s an extra fee.”

Just get your trees somewhere else and plant them yourself. It will save you a lot of time and money. You can buy star jasmine online on a major website and they will actually deliver healthy plants.

You get what you pay for with Moon Valley Nursery. When you have ‘soil’ like ours on the shoulder of Sunrise Mountain, you NEED Moon Valley Nursery to skillfully plant your mature plant material.
We were totally impressed by the skill and work ethic of our MVN crew. Please check the photos!
Our sales experts were Sal, Ryan and Judy! So very helpful!
    The crew was:
    Jonathan
    Rafael
    Jose Salvador
    And Edwin
I would recommend MVN to anyone without reservation!

    Thank you team Moon Valley!!

I highly recommend Moon Valley. Our tree is beautiful, and they are a pleasure to do business with.

I went to Moon Valley to purchase a tree. The one we had, not from MVN, was damaged by the winds. The gentleman who helped me, his name escapes me, was helpful and patient as I decided on which tree I wanted. He explained everything I needed to know about the tree I chose, and our tree was delivered two weeks later by Owen and his crew. The planting was quick, the cleanup emaculent, and I was informed on watering for my new tree. Nikki Alvardo, Quality Assurance Manager, followed up both times. Once after my purchase and again after the planting.

This place is pretty awesome. I have never seen trees this large and nice at any other nursery in town. They have some amazing pets here too! The birds are so cool looking and even talk! They have pretty much everything you could imagine to get the dream landscape you want. I had Matt R. help me when I came in, they took my wife and I around showing us exactly what would work for our landscape. Can't wait to get everything installed.

Kevin at Moon Valley on Charleston is always ready for a stroll around the nursery and has the answers to all my questions. He keeps up on how my trees are doing. Recently, I picked up a couple indoor plants, they are thriving. If my trees have issues I call Kevin!

I was looking for some trees and shrubs for my front yard and someone recommended checking out Moon Valley. I was just looking around but Brandon and Kyle were quick to greet me and eager to help with my project.

I had a lot of questions about what type of plants would look good and also grow well in these desert weather conditions. They answered all my questions and gave great suggestions. I ended up with this fantastic tree (pictured)! So beautiful!

They were knowledgeable, professional, worked with my budget and communication was on point. I can’t say enough good things about Brandon, Kyle and the Moon Valley located on Charleston!!
